  1. This is commentary from a particular translation of the gospel of Thomas Now, the day you discover your true light [your Divine Awareness within] your current idea of spirituality will PASS AWAY behind you, feeling like another life or a dream. Your present belief systems and old identifications will also pass away behind you. Your unenlightened ego-persona will no longer dominate, as you’ve removed attention from it ... and your rediscovered one true Self will no longer pass through the sleepy transition of “death”. You now remember, that once when you practiced good habits –– when you practiced spiritual disciplines to enter your I AM Self –– it was you, [the one who believed in separation] that put forth effort and allowed an unfolding expression of good works. But when you reenter your Divine Light, and your expansive Awareness, who do you suppose will be the ACTOR then, who will be the DOER, and WHO will be doing the allowing? Will it be the ego self, feeling separate, and alone –– burdened with the emptiness of the past...? Or will it be your Divine Beingness acting from the Loving Power of the Present Moment? In the beginning, when you were one-with “I AM I,” you became “two” by falling “asleep” and you dreamed of a “separation” from your Divine Identity, believing the God Life Force to be someplace else, other than in you, as your body and soul. You dreamed that EARTH was separate from HEAVEN, and you focused on the outer world’s shadows and circumstances and dreamed of death rather than knowing the power, present within your being. But now that you are “two” [in a divided consciousness of half-ness], how shall you return to The One, The Only, The Whole? How can you rejoin what you never separated from, or come back again to what you never left? To awaken from your dream of exile, you must reorient your Awareness of Self, by seeing your flesh as the outside of your breath, and, unifying your divine impulses with your human actions. Let your mind be the servant of your SOUL [your pure Intentions] and let loving kindness replace ego’s self-centeredness [by continuously gazing within]. Listen to and touch the Divine Consciousness in your center of being moment to moment, and obey the guidance that you receive there. Listen. You marvel at the things I do and the words I say, but marvel not. The works I do and the words I say are from the “I AM I.” The words I hear the I AM say within, these I say; and the works I see this Divine One do within, these are what I do. You see, it is only a matter of attention and obedience. 11. from the Lachlen Paul French translation of The Gospel According to Thomas
  2. What is Logian 102? I've heard that mentioned before.
  3. Don't take it as an answer and keep looking. There's only one answer, and you will pass many before you get there
  4. We should have a "I'm leaving" sticky thread, followed by a "nevermind I'm back" sticky. @Garuda @Shadowraix@Shadowraix @Shin
  5. @Javfly33 that's awesome. Keep trying. Have you meditated in the dream? Or tried having a wake induced lucid dream(WILD) inside the dream, going deeper in? Is there a deeper in? You may be tired of your lucid dreams but unless you've exhausted possibilities of LD, you could still consider it a blessing
  6. No one says it's not, but so is Harry Potter. Every work of fiction and non fiction is God talking to himself.
  7. @Basegodmike@Basegodmike. I've toyed with the idea! Do you do this with interesting results? It would be different though because they aren't drawing from your personal memory bank, but I guess it's a good way to ask 'the universe' a question
  8. @Basegodmike have you read Robert Waggoner's gateway to the inner self? His book really inspired me to explore the dreaming world. I found an old post of mine where I reported on my experiments with talking to dream characters... Also I've been stuck in a FA loop of at least ten awakenings... I thought I posted about it on here but I think it was my LD Facebook group. I'll see if I can find it
  9. So yeah, there IS only Consciousness and all that.... Fun stories.... And THAT Consciousness is who I am, and in order to experience, I had to forget who I am. I actually had no power to create anything, because nothing could be separate. So I had to divide myself. Of course we all know you can't divide zero, or nothing, so an imaginary act of forgetfulness is the simple loophole around this. And in no time, here you and I are, reading about it. But let's put that aside and focus on this dream which sprung from forgetfulness. It is constantly leading us towards remembering. Some faster than others, it seems, but that could just be a victim of the illusion of time. Within this dream, this undivided devision, is there a heirachy of consciousness? Do the gnostics have it right that the god of the old testament was a collective of consciousness who thought it was the only God, created this world we live in, and populated it with itself? All the while being ignorant to the fact that it is only a fragment of Consciousness? They say he was arrogant and ruled with a heavy thumb. Are there other gods and higher forms of consciousness which are above us, within the dream? and are some of us manifested humans direct fragments of these higher forms of consciousness? A type of hierarchy which continually condenses into ONE?
  10. I as a human am not asking to be more than human. I'm ok with that. I as THIS.... well I can't say anything about that because I don't know anything about it. Just proves your reply correct huh...
  11. @TDLH Thank you for your very thoughful reply. I loved it
  12. I think he's trying to get at that you should just call it consciousness instead of human consciousness. I agree with you, I don't think it originates in the brain but the brain is more like an antenna. You can't deny though, that the two become intermingled. If consciousness is outside the brain (or as we say here, the brain is within consciousness) it feels like a "human consciousness" because it gets filtered and interpreted by our memories, experiences, and chemicals which are in the brain. Therefore it does appear to change based on substances you take into the body, like alcohol, marijuana, and drugs.
  13. either way they are a very interesting peice of historical fiction/allegory and I think they have a lot to teach us
  14. You're probably right about that. I do like hearing about coma dreams if you have any sources about it
  15. Hi, I'm still working on inducing LD's at will. It's called WILDING... im very familiar with false awakenings... Such a mind bender especially if you do wake up for real and wonder to yourself if waking state is still another dream state, but one that has more solid continuity. Not sure about comas though. I imagine one could possibly live an entire lifetime in the span of a one or two year coma. However, as we all know, people who awake from comas have significant brain damage as far as basic motor skills and have to relearn almost everything. Very few people have claimed to remember any dreaming while in a coma. Those that do tend to think they were in heaven.
  16. I sure would like an elaboration
  17. I think it was mainstream before catholics starting murdering all the mainstreamers....
  18. Thanks, I'm honestly just trying to rationalize reincarnation, spirit guides, angels, gods, and whatnot. I know i can never know for sure, but a hierarchy of (embodied) consciousness easily explains it. There is so much emphasis in this work on what is totality, and I think we are missing all the juicy bits available to us
  19. its awesome... you have to be a little open minded and give him time in his articles to show where he's going with the interpretation. Look through the archives there's lots and lots of topics
  20. No they love themselves. They love what they see in themselves through you. So it really comes down to how much they love themselves, and if that is unconditional or not.
  21. haha I have a feeling Leo would prefer FDE's
  22. they say the best guru is the inner guru
  23. yes we often use code words or analogies to explain the unexplainable, and usually we use ones that mean something to us personally, but does not always translate to others. The Bible really is amazing. There used to be an awesome website that explained the entire bible as being an allegory for enlightenment, but unfortunately it is no longer accessible. The person who owned the site is writing a book though, so I'm really looking forward to that. Edit: its back! check out www.spiritofthescripture.com i think you will love it!
  24. Hi sorry, did you mean that towards me? I didn't mean to tag you in that first part.... stupid phone bug My reply to you was meant to be the second part of post, sorry
