  1. In conclusion: Faith without knowledge is blind *Hahahahahaha*
  2. Idol worshipping is against my (Abrahamic)religion...
  3. @Pouya Yo this is a lie. Anything that change your state of consciousness unnaturally is not halal, eg.alcohol etc. Including those that are harmful to your body(be it food or lifestyle). The only plant that I know of some muslim do eat as their culture is something in Yemen. I can't remember what it's called but it makes you more energetic/high(?). But it doesn't makes them crazy.
  4. These two videos stick in my mind till now. Maybe I would understand it differently if I watch it again now
  5. I actually love the latest video He speak my language It would have felt more complete if he didn't separate the relative and the Absolute.. ^This..is too broad of a topic to explain. I'm on tour now. Neither do I feel like it's relevant to every one. @Joseph Maynor Would you say i'm a turquoise then? But spiral dynamic doesn't even make sense to me. Am I blue? Red? Yellow? Green? Beige? Orange? Nvmd, I got it. @Leo Gura it would be a whole different thing when you do combine the Absolute and the relative... I'd rather not ask what your definition of Absolute is...
  6. @Leo Gura ok don't be mad. This is how I judge myself. And others. My standard.
  7. Only if you got it correct. But usually it's clouded by your ego. The mind of God shouldn't be contradictory. The Relative and the Absolute will make PERFECT sense without a contradiction. If you find something is off or contradictory, it is you who havent found Truth. Haven't explored both sides of the coin. Or two. Or three. Or four. Or five. Or more... Is it possible to know Everything? Yes. I've read about such people. And it's not anywhere near what i've seen here hahaha Maybe they are just hiding... (hi gurus!!) But really though, I see all evils comes from Ego(those who knows but still choose to follow their lower self), and those whose perspective are still limited. In other words, who haven't understand Everything. (Actually you wouldn't be judged for something that is outside your own limitation/in knowing) but this will be the root cause of all suffering/fears < Evils. Hahaha but whatever. Okbye Oh there's one more, those who are blind to their own blindness. (The only cure to this one is to always be open to new things. And not egoic. If still possible, keep searching....?..nvmd~) (I rate other's enlightenment degrees without me even realizing it so don't mind me,it's not something that I have control over?~)
  8. @winterknight what is karma? I've been observing it happened to others a lot. A few days ago, I saw it happened to an 11 month-old baby. (He got it pretty rough. Ouch. With another kid...) Is it unavoidable? I saw it happened to an enlightened being as well. (Even rougher) Is it best that we accumulate positive karma and avoid bad ones? I've only become conscious of this dynamic this year. If you're not aware, karma won't get back to you. In other words, you simply don't realize it happening?.. Or it means you have transcend it altogether?
  9. The Cattle 6:25 Of them there are some who (pretend to) listen to you; but We have thrown veils on their hearts, so they understand it not, and deafness in their ears; if they saw every one of the Signs, they will not believe in them; in so much that when they come to you, they (but) dispute with you; the Unbelievers say: "These are nothing but tales of the ancients." Translation by 'Abdullah Yusuf 'Ali
  10. A mirror of an awakened human being is transparent. It can see through the other side as is. Clearly A mirror of a normal human being is opaque & reflective. It reflects the mind of the person looking at it. There's dusty mirror, dirty mirror, cloudy mirror... (Where you can't even see yourself clearly. Your innate nature. Your pure self...) I like the word 'lens' better...it's the veil that is between you and another soul. Connection is only possible through a purified lens. Or else, you'd only see your own reflection. If you hadn't turned your mirror into a transparent glass, you're not awakened. Those who knows God knows everything the first, can see the greateness of God's Creations, goodness in everything the second, can make unbias judgement. You can take their words and the third, are blind and deluded, forever suffering
  11. @arlin it is just another creation. It is not you. It can flow through your blood and nervous system. The Jinn. Demon. Weak if you don't give power to it. Strong if you surrender yourself to it. I've seen others gets possessed a lot when I was younger. And I realized that many people here confused real spirituality with the Jinn possessions. Haha. It can be really subtle. Affecting the way you think, the way you feel, thinking that it's you..
  12. Wait, was it last year?.....Yea it's November.
  13. I ended up not sleeping till suhoor(light meal before fasting), the moon reminds me of Mishkat ul-Anwar, a book by the same author. "The Niche of Light" - I buy it last february when my friend randomly stop by an old bookstore. The way he described it is light upon light upon light upon light.... Inspired by this verse; An-Nur : "The Light" Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The Parable of His Light is as if there were a Niche and within it a Lamp: The Lamp enclosed in Glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: lit from a blessed Tree, an Olive, neither of the East nor of the West, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! Allah does guide whom He will to His Light: Allah does set forth parables for men: and Allah does know all things. 24:35 I wish to be at least as close as the moon's light(In comparable to God) by the end of this Ramadan
  14. Context: I was reading Imam al-Ghazali's book late at night....it touched my heart.... and it reminds me of the people in this forum. How one word will be interpreted with infinite interpretations. With infinite minds. ....... When I look out the window, it's the same vision that I saw in my dream last month. A bright half moon with sparkling stars.. I got a feeling that my dreams comes true. In my religion, we are not allowed to share bad dreams, or else it will becomes true. The way we interpret our dreams, will determine how it will turns out.. Or... is it not?
  15. I'm all in for a direct, brutally honest discussion beyond game & manipulation. Or else...it's time wasting~
  16. @Joseph Maynor yea but sometimes, it's not worth your time. You need to know when something is worth it or distractions.
  17. @Joseph Maynor you know when a criticism comes from a sincere place, or from ego, or from fears, or from having a certain limitation in someone's awareness. Sometimes it's time wasting. Sometimes it's simply impossible to share. Because everyone has a certain limit. It depends on the receiver too. And of course the conveyor.
  18. @Samantha Share your wisdom Can you give me one wisdom? Anything that comes to mind spontaneously I am a 23-year-old girl^^ (I like asking gurus, authors and elderly for wisdom?)
  19. @now is forever ok. I'll do justice in presenting informations that is full circle next time iA. But for now; Getting it mixed up here means: when I can't remember if some infos are from the Quran or from the bible. Because the bible have a more detailed explanations of a certain event. While the Quran explain it briefly, like a summary of previous scriptures, and more new revelations. I wan't my lens to be purely Quran based(for now).Because I do get it mixed up, and it's hard to try to remember which source a particular verse/whatver tht comes to mind is from. It has become unnecessary distraction to my mind.
  20. I'm still contemplating and observing karma. Hmm... It makes sense. Karma=attachement
  21. Yea. The one that we have now has lose it's real meaning. The roots.(though subtle) But if you read a lot, you can see which is true and which is deviated. I got two versions, but have stop referring to it since I got it confused/mixed with the Quran.
