Mentally, avoiding perceptions(assumptions). Islam praise intelligence(the mind). Spiritually would be your faith in God. Usually sages have a strong faith in God. .... Why are you so....limited? This is True for all Muslims : Prophet Muhammad had left us with two things , Quran & Hadeeth. Both are Absolutely True. Why do you focus on weak hadeeth when there are thousands which are Sahih & Qudsi. I think even to read the sahih ONLY would have taken a lot of your time & attention. Imagine to practice each... Practice what you know. It's not the matter of how much you know but how much you practice what you know. Btw, I randomly picked up a book on hadeeth at the library just now. It's about the intro of how hadeeth was compiled. And the differences between it & the Quran. For me I focus more on the Quran because it's simpler. Hadeeth if it contradict the Quran, then it will be invalid. It could be not saheeh etc. There are things which are not in the Quran but is in the hadeeth as an explanation of the Quran by the prophet. I look at the established ones Only. I've never heard of those hadeeth. It wasn't in mainstream islamic culture at all. Where are you from? @Corpus

Yess! Not only with human beings, but other creations too. If your energy is higher than the person, the person can get your 'goodness' and since you are overwhelmingly good, you will continue transmitting that goodness , (real sages wouldn't mind a handshake) or you can wash it away. (We had ablution, to 'purify' yourself) Some stones can turns black of all your sins.

I think it is in the Quran too? But it is contextual , during his time. But coupled that with other verses in the Quran as a whole. When you take your punishment in this world, in the next world you'll be free. They can enjoy heaven. Islam is all about integrity. All these falls under Qisas (Laws like karma) . To maintain justice. One more, to protect the family structure & the purity of bloodlines. It is an interesting feauture. Everyone will have their father's name, last name. Muslims keep track of this. It is interconnected with everything else. We really do take important measure to ensure the purity of generations. I think the rules is pretty much balanced. As a whole. The realm of heavens & hell was revealed to Abraham when he look at creations & contemplate about God. He also asked Allah to show him Truth. That's how he became enlightened. He did 'creations'-inquiry. Everything that I say, is literal. Satan is a real being. Angels is real. Me surrendering to Allah would mean I trust myself with Him. Which is not anything like creations. Allah is beyond creation. He created everything including me , the angels, the satans, the universe. Submitting myself to Allah would means I am surrendering my fate to my Creator. The Creator of everything. Whose knowledge is all encompassing. I trust myself to Allah alone. Everything submit to Him whether you realize it or not. All creations. Allah controls every heart, every creations. The Most Wise. What does viewing satans as myself will be any good in my direct experience? Satans like to disturb others. When I read God's Words(Quran) , they vanish. It burns them. Because Truth is not revealed by people The Most High will reveal it to whoever He wants. Truth can't be monopolized. Truth is available to anyone who are sincere, the genuine. Thinking that you are the giver of Truth, is delusions. Allah's Actions is always running behind the scenes. Some people are cognizant of it, some don't. Thinking that their "plans" works. Actually we can plan, but the results is completely on God's Will.

@Aakash @Nahm The way I judge whether someone is enlightened or not, is by how much they can see reality as it really is, without any distortion. Actuality as it really is. The people who knows God, knows It's creations the way Allah do. Both of you have many projections. You don't have that revealed insights from God when you speak to others. Because Allah is the protector of all things. He will reveal what He deemed necessary & keep hidden what He think is necessary. This is what I have realized. When you think that you are God with a capital G, you will be disappointed when others don't appreciate you when you "think" you did something good. Because you have attached to that identity of being the doer. When it is not you. In Actuality, it is Allah who makes everything possible. You are nothing.

I have an experience when I almost died physically, but I don't wanna die yet. Let's say if I let myself die. so physically-then-entirely-collapses-and-is-recognized ? Or you're speaking of a different kind of death(conceptual) ? Are your "physical" literal? So there are many people in this world who have died but still living in their body? That is literally physical. Or you are not physical anymore but from my perspective you are physical. I read that verse as literal. I shall taste death when I died physically, later, when it's time. One is in the Absolute sense, the other, in the physical sense. @Aakash i think our path is the opposite. The world is becoming lower & lower in quality. The ancient people are way way more spiritual , way stronger physically, way more intelligent than us, way richer. Their architecture is way beyond our reach. But, relatively in our Era, it's true that we are moving for a better world. But in the bigger perspective, our qualities is becoming lower and lower. You are better than your parents. That's true. But there are things which are lost if we don't preserve it. Allah says do not destroy the world after He had reconstruct it (re 7:56). In a way, it's true that we are the best generations compared to those before us. That's why we are here. Or else we would have been destroyed. Then it will repeat itself, truth will be forgotten, good & bad will exist. The bad will be destroyed & what remains is the good. When Allah has reconstructed the world. The reason why we are still here, is because we are still given chances. It's over when you died physically. Literally.

We are all far far away. It is unfit to compare ourself to those from the past...but whatever available to me now, is enough for me to get to God. I wouldn't know God without everything else. And He is Allah ,( to Whom was surrendered everything) in the heavens and on earth. He knows what you hide, and what you reveal, and He knows the (recompense) which you earn. 4. But never did a single one of the Signs(verse) of their Lord reach them, but they turned away therefrom. 5. And now they reject the truth(Quran) when it reaches them: but soon shall they learn the reality of what they used to mock at. 6. See they not how many of those before them We did destroy?- generations We had established on the earth, whose strength that We have not given to you- for whom we poured out rain from the skies in abundance, and gave (fertile) streams flowing beneath their (feet): yet for their sins We destroyed them, and raised in their wake fresh generations( to succeed them). Actually there is this one Hadeeth about fate. We Muslims take hadeeth as Absolute Truth. These are the things that has been pre-determined when you are in your mother's womb. Whether you are physically a male or a female. Whether your path will be happiness or suffering. Your sustenance. Your death. All these had been decided while you are in your mother's womb. After Allah has decided to make you a human being. The implication of knowing this, is that you won't be worried about it. You'll flow better with life. Given that you have balance it with the other rules(from the Quran & hadeeth). For example, [On Sustenance] God says you have to take action(work for it). But your action, when done with trust in God, is a form of worship. A form of prayer. An active prayer. [ there is a passive prayer. Surrendering completely to Allah. Having Faith that He is your Sustainer] , We also have other rules like, asking for His Mercy & Bounty. The combination of all these will make you achieve the highest good. Disclaimer : Allah here is that thing which is not creation. It is beyond creation. Not a human being, not everything that's phathomable. Happiness, is a test. Suffering, is a test. Both can make you closer or further from Truth. Happiness, is a Mercy. Suffering, is a Mercy. Being enlightened, is a test. Being enlightened, is a gift. All can make you closer or further away from Truth. All are just variables. The more you know, the greater is your responsibility to yourself literally. God give everyone equal chances. Equal here is synonym with infinite differences. But equally just. Only God-of-all-creations knows Absolute Judgement. 20.9.19
