@Sussso it’s a good idea to explore the nature of addiction which is thought what exactly is thought? How and why do we identify with thought? Does your actions/behavior happen before or after a thought? What is the purpose of self-thought? Is it possible to live without it or even truly see it for what it is? Self observation without judgment or concentration, is how to take back power from thought and free ourself from ourself (the addiction to thought)

@VeganAwake oh cmon we’re humans! Complexity is what we do best! -

no-one is enlightened (unless you are) -
What comes to mind is it's a coping mechanism, basically deep-seeded subconscious beliefs of "not being good enough", helplessness", and "abandonment" even leading to a scarcity mentality. This is the negative look, but the positive spin is probably the belief, I will be fulfilled inwardly with this particular outward expression of myself. More important question might be why do you ask? (Is it in the desire to understand someone else) I like to share Teal Swan lol here you go, unfortunately couldnt find one directly for perfection, just related to spirituality, so here's one about coping mechanisms

@VeganAwake I like the idea of the ego simply being a program that is always running within us, either consciously or subconsciously and the discoveries of the various intricacies in this program is the dissolution aspect of the spiritual journey. OMG it can be changed! I can consciously choose to suffer (seeing it in a new light free of attachment), and choose to change programs or simply meditate through it... The trickiness of the spiritual journey is literally incomprehensible and ultimately absurdly funny. There's that first realization that changes our perception forever (wakes us up) then there's that period of contemplation and exploration of ourselves and the event, trying to make sense of it. Followed by more and more letting go/releasing of the thought stories or clinging to new ideas of ourselves. Finally we see ourselves circling and circling, realizing we are not going to destroy ourselves no matter how many buttons we push, and that all of it was just a game. Seeing the game is coming full circle, and this leaves us no-where, or in whatever place we choose to be...if we are honest, there's nothing left but to take responsibility and do whatever feels best: expand, create, live, love (this is the never-ending journey and it starts.....NOW) How do you like my thought-story? "holler if you feel like you've been down the same road" -

Increased energy flow, (or rather a release of energy) energy/love/light/consciousness how beautiful ?? -
You are not genuinely open to finding out how it might be possible because of these kind of assertions. do we really get to choose our journey or does the journey actually choose us? @Nickyy Please stop attacking me. I am not even here
-
You may project your problems onto me all you want, doesn’t make them not yours
-
@Nickyy sorry man I am okay with being misunderstood. If what I share doesn’t resonate, don’t worry about it. I’m sorry for provoking any stressful emotion in you as it wasn’t intentional. They do hold insight as I have personally found. perhaps I over shared, but reality is our mirror
-
@Nickyy Just so you know, there is science behind breatharians where the body function differently and you could learn it if you really desire to...
-
@Nickyy Maybe there's another reason why i called you out for bashing other modalities besides the perceived personal bias...but then again for you to see this you'd have to not be attached the your own position/morality/rationality/system of beliefs etc and be willing to learn/grow/change your perspective You're getting lost in the labels/descriptions? The important factor is learning how one's beliefs allows them freedom to choose to stay there if they wish This is one way of rationalizing its existence in your reality
-
@Nickyy There is no objective scientific fact my friend. Why are you acting as if you can know “for a fact” where someone else is operating? All your judgement and modeling appears to be naive spiritual materialism in my book if you aren’t willing to explain yourself without attacking (targeting) me, I’m gone
-
@Nickyy This is a game of mirrors, don’t deflect, because I point out your beliefs being thrown at the content I shared. Is it not an assumption to call someone a charlatan or quack without evidence?
-
@Nickyy Why do you feel the need to label someone a "charlatan" when their knowledge/information/beliefs doesn't match your own regarding scientific theory and the realm of possibility? I am not interesting in sharing anything with anyone advocating the transcendence of beliefs without letting go of the old. This simply shows a clear agenda of proving superiority through beliefs imo. Transcending is about unlearning/relearning right?

@Preety_India The breatharian defines what it means to be one as living off very little food or none at all. There are 4 levels of breatharian, anyways, I think it’s smart if we just stay on topic.
-
@Raptorsin7 Yes but I won't discuss it here. The most scientifically minded breatharian i know is Ray Maor, he has a book (a year without food) and YT channel you could check out
-
@Raptorsin7 Suffering led to an awakening for me...but im saying dry fasting isn't about suffering lmao cool but is this knowledge of brain and common sense actually yours or was it given to you by culture/society? Plenty of breatharians, and initiations happening all around the world today, even in America. Of course it isn't for everyone
-
@Preety_India believe what you wish...naturally i disagree There's a lot of knowledge out there, how much time have you put into researching?
-
wow look what i found, video of Robert Lockhart himself speaking about dry fasting among other things lol nonsense @modmyth Check out this video on fasting from a dude who lives to fast as a breatharian lol, he explains how and why it is done
-
Makes sense yeah. The point about dry fasting is important, most people who take it too far dont understand that a well hydrated body isn’t going to result in a dry mouth or feeling thirsty and without proper cellular hydration, it can be very dangerous to abstain from fluid consumption like drinking too much water can lead to health issues, even death I’ve done a few near 24 hr dry fasts to experiment Breatharian actually means fasting and hearing their knowledge on how to safely fast has been most interesting, also the focus on energy. I dig this guys content

You’re right about one thing, be it, the problem lies in thinking. It’s interesting to see the perceptions of this sad incident shared by the various agendas and systems of belief out there all using only the info they see fit for their point. Definitely was a big scare for the vegan communities, and new detox folk imo there’s plenty of better videos to get more details on the facts about this but I’ll Just share what his wife had to say and let you all do your own research: From his wife: "We’re so sorry to announce the passing of our dear father & husband Robert Lockhart who transitioned yesterday the 29th of November at 6:06pm at age 75. We can understand the disbelief of many who knew him, as he was so full of life. His daughters Tulani Lockhart, Meah Robertson and his wife Ree Anna cared for him for the weeks leading up to his death. We’ve had many messages from his friends, loved ones and the community sharing their love and support, thank you so much to everyone for their kindness. Rob was a great man who loved to help and mentor others. His long standing career over 45 years as an excellent Chiropractor impacted many. His great passion however was his diet, nature cure and being an advocate of healthy living. Both in eating raw foods, educating about physical activity and the human frame. We all know he was the best at handstands! We’d like to clarify the chain of events that lead to his body shutting down, as it wasn’t just one thing. As you may or may not be aware Rob has eaten only a raw food diet for nearly 40 years. Over the last 10 years he significantly decreased his intake of water, drinking only minimal coconut water or freshly squeezed juice, quoting that he got all the water he needed from the high intake of mainly fruits he was eating. In the last 5 years he commenced “dry fasting” for periods of time which meant no food or fluids including water for extended periods, up to 48 hours. He would also intermittently fast each day no food no water for roughly 19 hours with a 5 hour eating window. The doctors believe this had done significant damage to his kidneys over the years as scans & tests performed showed atrophy, scarring and significantly reduced function. Rob’s immune system was suffering and he picked up a chest infection from a bacteria called Melioidosis, this is found in the soil in tropical climates. He was a avid planter of rare fruits and was constantly tending to his trees & orchid. This contributed to a bad cough and mucous on the lungs which he said “I’m just eliminating, don’t worry”. He then proceeded to do a dry fast of 72 hours no food no fluids, which pushed his body too far which he admitted. In the subsequent weeks he was quite debilitated. His kidneys started to shut down, which then meant he couldn’t clear the fluid from his lungs, and his electrolyte balance was thrown out. Having a proper balance of electrolytes including potassium ensures the heart beats properly. Combined with his lungs not getting adequate oxygen due to the infection which was later diagnosed as pneumonia also put more pressure on his heart. After much coaxing he reluctantly went to hospital for treatment as he was on the verge of complete kidney failure and a cardiac arrest at home. He accepted testing and treatment in hospital. Their quality of care & respect for Robert was amazing and blessed us with another 2 weeks with him. Last Saturday he suffered with two massive cardiac arrests then was placed in ICU on life support. We were all hoping he would recover, however over the week unfortunately he didn’t regain consciousness (although we believe he could hear us at times) there were no significant signs of neurological activity. His organs including lungs, kidneys, liver and heart continued to fail. In the last week they had him on dialysis, a ventilator and medication to keep his heart beating. His condition continued to deteriorate and we were advised that there was no treatment options to fix his enlarged heart (cardiomyopathy) and leaking valves with an ejection fraction of 15-20% at most with medication stimulation. Out of respect for his wishes we (Tulani, Rheana, Meah and the doctors) made a joint decision to let him go peacefully without being plugged into any machines or medications. It has been a very hard time. However we believe he was in the end happy to be set free. We hope that everyone can respect him and his memory lovingly without judgment or blame. We’ll be having a celebration of life for Rob next Sunday the 8th of December at 1:00pm, 66 Johanna Road Trinity Park. If you’d like to come to say your goodbyes you’re more than welcome. To honor Rob we’ll have a big fruit party (no alcohol please). Feel free to message Meah Robertson, Tulani Lockhart or Ree Anna if you’d like any additional information. Much love Meah, Tulani and Rheana ❤️"

Wow yup I have a friend who didn’t learn until her early 30s and it blew my mind how much fear she had around learning Lovely. I appreciate this information. Im currently looking for a temp holiday position to earn some quick cash so I can afford to do some post holiday visits/travel/fun I have been part time self employed for a few years, just working with a few companies to find clients but I know I didn’t make the most of it and became too dependent on the app/sites I work with, living with family enabled me to do this. And it isn’t the work I wish to continue so I’m feeling quite uncertain, so figure I’ll go down an avenue that will improve my social skills like sales

I’m the same way man. Actually exploring how creating habit allows for the spark of necessary enthusiasm/inspiration ive quit so many journals on here, second guessing, judging myself, never satisfied with the purpose haha shit doesn’t need to be so Gawd damn serious and it feels necessary to even give myself permission to share both the positive and negative struggle/emotions/guilt/shame/fear etc because it’s empowering and whole, just part of actualizing. How would this impact those who read the journal? It simply gives permission to be real, or even begin to release a suppressed emotion perhaps all right I’m done haha, I’d like to see you bring the clown out to play ? much love ?

@Key Elements cool. Would you say mastering the basics of a particular skill results in a download, hardwiring the mind, like riding a bicycle then flow is honing or settling into a relaxed state (backseat driving), able to bask in the awareness and make spontaneous/creative adjustments, improvements, and intuitive foreshadows without hesitation/second thought?

@Nickyy Is there a “best modality” for health in the shift to an integral society? (If this makes any sense haha) I would think the best modality is going to provide the greatest relief for the far sides of the spectrum
