  1. ?

ha yeah dude i understand. Eckhart uses the concept "unconsciousness" differently in his books which just goes to show what little importance merely understanding conceptually serves in the "state" of headlessness
  2. @SoonHei Often people, like me, get caught up in the conceptualizations of enlightenment and this "process" or "technique" when really what's needed is the dropping (letting go) of all concepts/ideas before observing/seeing psychological time/fear in action and its relationship with experience phenomena
  3. ?

@CharlotteGood share! ?? Words cannot express how this video makes me feel Doesn't Eckhart consider unconsciousness to be a state of distraction/illusion or being caught in thought/self
  4. oh no...not a 'what if'! THEN WHAT HUH?! Truth does not arise from thought...but sure we can all wish it did Religions are pointers with stories and ideas. We don't have to play them games but we can
  5. It's quite refreshing to bring someone out of their own head. Too bad they don't see it as a possible lifestyle
  6. It makes you want to cry dude ha! but hey now there's an answer to why some people "naturally" read much slower than others
  7. i do man, thanks! Crazy how the false self is triggered just by reading. It's quite deep conditioning here....i will continue to be aware of this It's funny the effortless reading actually goes unnoticed...as it should....when there's no one to notice it
  8. @Mr BeingThanks for sharing, quite a good representation!
  9. @Jack RiverYes i do! It has not been so ongoing recently as there's been a lot of family drama happening around my mother's wedding which was triggering. Funny though when i notice other people are inviting me into this psychological time/momentum i say i don't play those "mind games" or i just don't feed it, changing the subject. Crazy how many conversations become so irrelevant. I have been doing a lot of "talking from source" and having some good authentic conversations lately. Have you started reading without effort? I am struggling with this cuz i still notice when i start "reading to myself"
  10. @Jack RiverCool dude! yeah totally. Unawareness...a cool way to describe it. Could also be seen as non-delusional? I might add these descriptions as well: unifying, non-opinionated, unplanned, non-purposeful, inconceivable and in all actuality, indescribable! <3 The creative is indeed purely natural and will only be interpreted as such when compared
  11. Your passion finds you. that's how i like to look at it As Serotoninluv says...there can definitely be more than one and if we can remain open enough life will be completely full of passion!
  12. Yes i see this, youre saying creative = freedom right? @Jack RiverWhat i mean is it can be temporary from the perspective of self as creativity ends after an activity
  13. Can one be creative while still seeing through the veil of thought or must one lose themself temporarily. What ive notice personally is whenever psychological time is active my movements become mechanical/limited and it is no longer creative @Serotoninluvrational thought impulse, to me, would arise from thought resulting from memory/knowledge and intuitive impulse wouldn't really be an impulse but an act of intelligence as Jack says....haha oops i just noticed jack basically said the same In your example, As a scientist, the practical thinking is the rational thoughts, but an intuitive action does not have to be rational but comes from a complete understanding of the whole
  14. I would say it is apparently so...but does one realize what is actually taking place, or not taking place? creative expression has no need or compulsion about it. Sort of like love right? For sure! I believe it can be triggered to a degree as it is an oh too familiar liberated place we've all seen. It is always there behind all the accumulated layers of self. But no this seems to be an interesting gap to bridge and we could start another thread on it. I would like to see if there's a fine line between creativity and psychological time @Jack River
  15. ha yes it matters the perspective. Reaction to what? How i see it all the psychological becoming/striving for success doesn't matter as it is illusion/trick the mind uses to find peace
  16. @Jack Riverdude the ending of psychological time/becoming/thought-self
  17. How about this one? Just heard it in the car Its always fun to give songs their own meanings @Jack River
  18. Yo Jack! This seems to be the same curiosity one might have on whether a guru is "fully enlightened" or not. A question only speculated and never known with certainty Why can't creative discovery/intuition/breakthrough in science preexist thought/rationalization? When this product is cultivated it is then necessary for one to rationalize it. This may be why you are inclined to assume thought could be responsible. The seeing totally empty of thought is a part of all human consciousness. Not one human doesn't utilize this holistic intuition whether they are aware of it or not. It is quite beautiful to see it ill admit EX. There's this scientist and he has a problem unable to be solved. It has him stumped no matter how much time and energy he puts into working it out. Eventually he lets go of this control or attachment and out of nowhere while he's doing some random activity away, the answer becomes clear. The only way this discovery could have come about is if this scientist used enough practical thought to understand the basics for this problem. Does this scientist have or need headlessness? No probably not, but maybe this discovery will change science as we know it.
  19. @ArkandeusHey there are some good insights/reflections here but do you see the connection between thought and emotion? Do you know how both thought and emotion are formed and why they perpetuate?
  20. As Eckhart Tolle would say, “love is a state of being” “to love is to see yourself in another”. To see through the self, beyond the persona and human conditioning
  21. the watcher and the watched is one. mind creates the false division. can we see this in our direct experience? There is only experiencing without separation but we cant just make the assumption
  22. It is scary to realize if you haven't unraveled all the aspects of yourself, the degree authenticity is limited. I still notice my mechanical people pleasing responses in certain situations. Teal swan has a great video on authenticity. check it out if you'd like I feel an ongoing objective alertness of oneself is the surest way to understand if I am being authentic. And I see increasing authenticity as a step toward dissolving ego
  23. I would say no...but do you think one cultivate a healthy ego? Does ego act authentically? Maybe you, as ego, are more conscious but does this create authenticity? What is authenticity? Looks to me like ego could be watching, judging, and analyzing with some idea of enlightenment @SoonHeiSome good insights here though!
  24. Much appreciated insights! Was just involved in a car accident where i hit an old lady driving down a wet road. Nobody was hurt but she claimed to not have ran a red light even though i was going through a yellow when she pulled out in front of me. This had me so triggered when she wouldn't admit to fault (all i could imagine is she was anticipating a green light while looking the opposite way to see it went yellow), what a test it was...no cameras or witnesses... Anyways, yup still getting lost in thought. definitely continuing to integrate
  25. @Jack Riverfree weights...sometimes agility work and speed training
