  1. To see this in direct experience = holistic insight @robdl@Jack Riveryou guys express it so well! Awesome
  2. There is no controlling the flow of the river. When we see we are not separate from the river it ceases to continue
  3. To take this for granted is to assume truth, as in an idea of what is, without seeing the fact this would be the true breakthrough to understand where and why fear comes about and see the whole conditioning in of itself as one movement
  4. Great share! Just reading this touched me deep inside. You know better than any of us how and what this means... The therapist helped you face yourself and see the self imposed limitations you were unknowingly bound by. You brought the fear to the surface and for a time you were completely free EXCELLENT!
  5. @Joseph MaynorIf anything King may have an internal struggle in the form of regret or what not, but it is definitely not revealed...he just might be a little out of his "element" you could say In any interpretation it seems there's projection/judgement which is unnecessary
  6. @Strikrthank you ? appreciate your description not sure how accurate you are but it was a good idea non the less. You’re humorous dude ?
  7. Yes maybe. Tolle does not waste any energy psychologically @Jack Riverspot on!
  8. Interesting. But to me it doesn’t say or mean much...maybe he could sense some “ego” in tolle and was becoming critical, or maybe he feels threatened as he sees truth but wants to deny it. Whatever the case...he’s human and not enlightened therefore very natural reaction/response
  9. For those not familiar with this such as myself...how would you describe it. Like throw away all the concepts which cannot be understood without going into that practice/interpretation
  10. Hmm interesting. Honestly I didn’t finish it all but do you imagine he’s just trying to please someone? @Joseph Maynor
  11. You’re saying they can’t walk the walk but they can talk the talk? is egoic enlightenment always unknown to be fake? Is it really a trap or does one simply take this path because of conditioning and may still bring about freedom without resistance?
  12. @Gligorijewhat does it mean to you to be mindful? Imagine if nearly every moment was a flow state for you. So much creativity, love, compassion, authenticity...
  13. Larry king comes off as Larry king Oh and Tolle is the MAN how do you think Larry came off? @Joseph Maynor
  14. @Hellspeedwait you just explained enlightenment...how about egoic??? Using an idea of enlightenment to conceptualize exactly that which should be but can’t be known what is it which we seek so illusory until realized is nothing at all carry those who’s minds claim to be that which cannot be but believe it is so...
  15. Well said! The identifying/judging the relationship then comes avoidance to what is further perpetuating it, never seeing it all as one movement bringing about the limited thinking/being
  16. Makes sense ? Ahh yes like an unidentifiable alertness I like how you put this. A mindful harmony giving clarity
  17. @Jack Riverwhy do we desipher Intelligence from intellect?
  18. @Jack RiverHow could you not like the games? As children we had wicked imaginations so it was only natural to use whatever we learned to have fun unfortunately even as kids things were often taken too seriously
  19. Yes however it’s interpreted as more of a “game” in childhood therefore it doesn’t have as great of an impact. Unfortunately it’s when the training begins to psychologically become going on to create much conflict
  20. "Inwardly, is “the i” separate from fear? And outwardly, are we as “individuals” seperate from society/world? Inwardly, “the i” sets out to control fear...a fragment that sets out to to control a fragment, and so on, moving towards the abstraction. And that same inward movement of fragmentation is expressed outward born of this false notion that “the individual” is fundamentally separate from the society, in which we invent abstract ideals and so on to solve fundamental problems that arise within that society. The fact is disorder, (the fact), is constantly evaded by seeking security in the abstraction that thinks will bring about order, by the intellect, in the form of analysis. But just as analysis cannot bring about order in the relationship with ourselves, so the same the application of analysis as applied on political science to bring about order in relationship between (man-woman) kind. This outward disorder, (corruption in society) is merely a reflection of the inner disorder of “the individual”. And vice versa.... The individual is the reflection of the society, and the society is an expression of the individual. The cause and the effect are one and the same movement of fragmentation. Political science may have its place in practical matters, but when it comes to relationship in society/the world, this application of incomplete action only causes more disorder. IS THIS PROCESS OF FRAGMENTATION THE ROOT OF THIS DISORDER, AND THE REASON FOR THIS FAILURE IN THE ATTEMPT TO APPLY POLITICAL SCIENCE AS A MEANS TO BRING ABOUT ORDER IN SOCIETY/THE WORLD?" -Faceless @Emerald@Serotoninluv Maybe this will be beneficial. For this to make complete sense you will have to fully understand where, why, and how division/confusion is created within (without assumptions). Shared this from
  21. @Jack Riverwould you like to explain how the individual is the society? What would understanding the self do for society?
  22. @EmanyalpsidThe "teaching" in which Jack expresses was not of his own invention however it is the only way in which he knows how to express his holistic understanding. Maybe he brings it up to see if your "enlightenment" would allow you to reflect on his direct experience of self/no self. Have you heard of Jiddu Krishnamurti? as well as david bolm? (Many youtube videos exploring how this "language" works...) also i linked you a few threads the other day which expresses this type of "language" @Jack Rivermost excellent posts dude, pity its been such a challenge communicating it
  23. check it reflect it accept it love it
  24. Your problems lie within. Give out what you would like to receive...this being said, i dont mean manipulate or have expectations of others. What Joseph says is right...explore your intentions in every interaction. You said you have some deep fear to engage and open up. What is it you fear? What beliefs are you holding surrounding this fear? Find these answers within yourself and get to the root cause...this can be overcome as quickly as it started so dont wait start now
