  1. @mandyjwOn the contrary, fear is a great tool to use to understand ego. To see that fear is not something separate from self (ego). Go ahead! observe all "your" fears throughout the day and explore them, sit with them. True change comes when we have the insight into "what is" simply illusion
  2. “If reality is “perfect” then what are its metrics values and visions? Whatever you want them to be whether you’re conscious of this or not it’s anything everything and nothing
  3. Interesting opinion. Im curious but I doubt you have experience with psychedelics. Sometimes we get so conditioned into fooling ourselves, psychedelics can be of use in overcoming deep mental barriers you’d usually use running or meditation to bypass
  4. @hundreth@WhateverEnlightenment or liberation may be known by someone but it goes deeper than the human condition. This is where one’s idea of enlightenment can start to become a detriment to their personal journey and realization EVERYONE is liberated/enlightened but not everyone is conscious of it
  5. And maybe the enlightened don't require sleep I think it would have to depend on your definition of enlightenment
  6. Excellent! Exactly what I did after my only trip down the rabbit hole. However I experienced some detachment for a week or so afterwards @RichardYnot to try and scare you but I had one trip on shrooms some years ago and it was by far the scariest thing I’ve ever experienced. No control when your ego desperately wants it, it was fighting for its life and I was there just suffering through it...not everyone is this unfortunate on their first trip but it’s taken me years to integrate and understand my self image

  8. OMG I wanted to bring this up as i started reading i've been following his posts too. It was very surprising and sad to see but his first post about it was so very deep, almost brought me to tears It's crazy how severe his insomnia has been...he did say it was something he's always struggled with so not sure about how it might correlate with his trips
  9. @Conseptcool dude when people reach that "flow state" they never wanna leave the game ha! Probably the only other area i easily notice flow states is weight lifting, for me anyways. Liverpool all the way <3 idk your team but ive followed them since i was a lad and this year is exciting can also relate to this. As Charlotte said in her post, loving/accepting the ego for whatever it is always has to be the first step to overcoming without creating more suffering haha yup it's like wait what...? but..that's not who i wanna be
  10. @Sukhpaalhmm okay. good to see you're reflecting. If you desire to change or be more authentic it might be a good idea to reevaluate your intentions and see if you can be true to who you are and not who you think you should be...that's really all ive got mate. taking a 100% honesty approach I started questioning how much fun it was to continue playing soccer...i knew i had to let it go for a while, and before i knew it i injured myself. It was a life changing long break
  11. maybe try to be aware of your focus, if you can, shift it to curiosity. Taking the focus off of ourselves can be a great way to get out of your own head about being socially awkward
  12. hmm interesting. Would you mind sharing how you've gone about dealing with this personality trait? For me, whatever has become a very strong part of my identity will tend to bring these undesirable actions. I played soccer my entire life, and when i started playing more recreational, i noticed my ego had built up to an extreme degree. It took a while to get out of this sort of energy for good, and well it sometimes creeps up on me when i am not aware. But it can really be as simple as bringing awareness to these drives you have when they are present. Id imagine it also helps to be aware of how serious you take yourself and life. I lived most of my life, raised to take life 'too seriously' and it created a lot of suffering.
  13. You are the infinite, you aren’t a part of the infinite. Just my understanding. Everything and everyone is a reflection of you, of oneness. We could speculate you are just one expression, but it’d be the relative
  14. Don’t think there’s a right or wrong way to go about this....no point in giving ourselves any limitations. Whatever feels right is so, if I feel like sitting, standing, laying down or twirling my thumbs, the presence/mindfulness is key ? ?
  15. @ivankissi like your creative clever way at expressing what it means "to be" @SoonHeifrom what i interpreted, the trap he discusses in this would be to stop living as Soonhei and start identifying as awareness, falling into the illusion of truth. Beauty, excitement, thrill all come in the 'not knowing' The only thing one can know for certain is that they are not who or what they 'think' they are....
  16. @George Filokay sorry I’m defining human conversation as being part of the simple things. When we see through the noise of language there a deeper intimate connection to have...it’s hard to appreciate this, it takes a step back from our own identity maybe you have or haven’t awakened but it’s going to be a journey integrating yourself. 0 expectations and 0 judgement because you understand where other people are coming from...once this is realized and understood by the other they will open up and you may actually be able pursue expanding their perspective toward “your” interests. However in either case it’s joy you experience from the deeper connections we make that can NEVER BE BORING
  17. I used to use his methods and it is quite powerful. The Dude sure knows how to live, what it means to be alive. Who cares how conscious he is to be honest. But I like how he stresses how important it is to understand our minds and open up ourselves @EvilAngelI’d give him 75%
  18. +1 @George Filyour beliefs are getting in your way. You have a long exciting journey ahead for self exploration through others. The fact that you cannot find joy in the simple things life has to offer means you’re carrying the ‘me vs the world’ mindset, this will not get you closer to connection. Try taking new approaches like having 0 expectations and focus completely on the other person perhaps you too are quite boring to some people
  19. And just like that BOOM! You get thrown back into hell as the devil himself ready to fight consciousness and do enough good to replace god ?
  20. Until those feathers are part of a “real” tornado ? ??
  21. @Anton Rogachevskinot an unrealistic framework. I could actually see this sort of system being structured in some later time when there’s a more developed world as a whole
  22. @Aakashjust like one might say true change can’t be contemplated/forced/willed, true love(unconditional) can’t be created maybe it is merely recognized and seems to spontaneously arise
  23. I think youre right. Must be from your chill and soft spoken manner.
  24. As eckhart would say “To love is to recognize yourself in another” Appreciate the share. You seem kinda shy my friend, it’s new to be on camera and a good beginning, enjoy it
