  1. @kieranperez Personally i don’t have flat feet but I guess it does affect running as that’s why they sell arch support professional athletes do not run aweful however. There body will adapt to their particular activity
  2. Ok. I was curious about your opinion thanks man
  3. @kieranperez so it can be a contributing factor...yeah it’s interesting. I was asking hypothetically. I’m also familiar with mobility strength training and running posture
  4. ? I’m just saying the ego can be seen as credited with the creation of society
  5. Knowledge learned/accumulated (morality) created provides society with the expectation for how we should act
  6. society = ego an ego already knows how to behave, without an ego we'd be heaven
  7. @kieranperez could someone with flat feet be more prone to knee problems with like distance running?
  8. thanks for sharing! wow interesting.
  9. it's all about self understanding. Once you come full circle you shall have a deeper understanding of yourself, meaning more freedom! The ego's shackles are off and there's no longer this urgency in being. Even when you hit a wall or life does the unimaginable, there isn't the usual/previous resistance and lost sense of self
  10. hey good point! I was asking myself earlier "why do people seek enlightenment?" and then i realized most just see it as the easiest or only way to end their suffering. And once we get on the journey we find out well damn im using spirituality to avoid feeling myself completely and to simply bypass my emotions/fear/desires etc which only creates more disconnect in my life
  11. IMO this is just the resistance to total surrender. That's what creates a very scary psych trip attachment to an idea, story, thought etc
  12. Well you can figure out your beliefs regarding ego death/awakening, and reaching a specific state of consciousness. Seems your ego thinks it’s demise is going to come in “time” which is just not the case. All knowledge/beliefs must be dropped completely for total surrender to happen Does the anxiety grow in intensity?
  13. 2nd this! The mind is so conditioned that the second It feels free, fear is right there to regain control @ivankissthanks mate ? Always enjoy your inspirational word spilling in this forum. Pure love ♥️
  14. anxiety is unconscious and implies separation between self and other it’s perpetuated by the false division within sit with the fear/emotions and understand why they arise
  15. Hey welcome! Here's an earlier thread about it with some shared experience
  16. Hahaha yeah unfortunately love goes beyond most communication. Parents cannot express their unconditioned love especially when being judged. It’s always there and it encompasses all forms of love. Always the focus is not there... Love is simply attention, in the now. I could love a fucking tree as much as my mom in the NOW ♥️
  17. Yes continue increasing your body awareness. Give your body the love and attention it needs. Focus on the areas you feel pain and strengthen or let heal whatever is needed. You’ll know...implement any supporting muscle areas in a morning routine i used some body weight glute and hip workouts whenever I tore my hamstring a few years ago As ive gotten older I’ve learned to differentiate between pain and fatigue, and to go easy on the pain and really listen to whatever the body is telling me Instead of pushing through it
  18. Ha wow idk dude has this been the case your whole life? What has changed? How in tune are you with your body? And uh why are you sitting? What is the purpose? Maybe it’s time for 24/7 mindfulness meditation.
  19. Well it’s all about getting to a place where there’s no fear of the unknown. It can be as simple as ignoring the thoughts which may result in a spiral of BS if one is truly in attention as awareness. I’ve noticed I will even laugh off certain thoughts and recenter focus on who or whatever is in awareness whenever I get triggered it’s usually from a place of identification/shame as my “perfectionism” or hard self critique has proved to be quite an obstacle. Any sort of unhealthy activity may cause the self focus/judgment. Then whenever I am inauthentic in an interaction it will continue with regret and frustration etc Also more self love and acceptance is definitely going to “help”
  20. @Serotoninluvfascinating. Have you been able to work through the contact intimacy problem? Have you tried creating a few beliefs surrounding your response to better dive into it? Ive heard that everyone experiences trauma growing up regardless of the severity of an event. And that possibly more severe an event resulting in trauma, the more easily someone can learn to understand and overcome the body sensations. Definitely I think with most triggered emotional states it is very helpful to be well tuned into the body. This has brought me to many realizations of unconscious responses. I think it’s much better to hold an empowering perspective relative to ourselves until it’s realized the subconscious is a result of being identified with the body/mind
  21. @Joseph Maynorwow now that you mention it I would have to agree
  22. @Serotoninluvreally appreciate this share ! ♥️ Would you agree the emotions or anxiety etc which do not stem directly from thought are still self thought in the form of deep rooted beliefs (related to a trauma)? Also something I’ve experienced pretty recently is this emotional purging where I’d feel like I need to throw up or gag and that body reflex is quite liberating I think I’ll get back into shamanic breathing
