Aiight so that’s the difference between someone who has transcended the mind and one who hasn’t. Less suffering or injuries from their “mind field” ? Gotcha -

How does one be without a mind, is it even possible? Does the mind create the ego? Are you saying a mind must transcend itself? -
@WyzeYes it goes way deeper When we give ourselves the same kind of attention as those we wish to interact with, only then may we create the types of relationships we value. How we see ourselves is what causes the disconnect with others. The attention is a sort of third person awareness, which doesn't hold judgement and simply wants to understand the facts vs beliefs The thing is...the more we understand ourselves the better we can accept and see past the differences AND EVEN stop putting expectations on those we might consider to be friends. What makes your agenda, worldview and beliefs any better than theirs? This is a belief. So what, sure it may sound good, morally right, whatever, but why limit ourselves to simply having "real" friends when we can have "real" interactions (deep, open). It sounds silly to put limitations on who can be considered your friend simply by what sort of value they can bring to your views

This is something Ive struggled with in the past. I feel like when we feel overly concerned with how others see us we will automatically start to judge them and where they stand (or relate) in many topics of discussion. You may hold a belief of “needing common viewpoints” in order to make a real connection with people, which isn’t the case. Try shifting your focus to simply understanding where they are coming from and not always finding a way to relate. Connection is not about relatability but about compassion/understanding and openness

teal focuses on emotional neglect in this video
-
Yeah that’s tough. IMO without knowing more details tread lightly and make sure you understand everyone’s perspective before you do any sort of assisting. Sometimes simply bringing the obvious to the forefront with 100% love (as in not making it up to be some sort of an attack/problem) is all that is really needed. Definitely reflect on what everything does to your emotional state as it is most beneficial

yes to be, to expand, to love, everything/nothing (it just is..these are all descriptors) being -another descriptor -
ITS A TRAP! Don’t take any of it as truth for yourself. Always reflect and directly verify on knowledge accumulated from others. It can be quite revealing to yourself to simply notice how and why you are seeing Teal Swan in a certain way. LEARN FROM YOUR JUDGEMENTS I actually see her as quite confident. Love her beauty and openness as well as her juicy insights in psychology if she don’t vibe with you stop watching her shit for a while...find someone else Muu!

@moon777lighti believe using the intellectual components are necessary until they are not...as anything the mind thinks is you can't be you (as you will be aware of it) -

Awesome job on this video. Love how you yourself start laughing, was right there with you ?♥️ Easy to understand the craziness of the mind in hindsight. It can be so relentless -
We can learn so much from the self(mind). Especially in our interactions with others. Loved ones and close friends are even more pertinent. YOU are everyone you come in contact with whether you like it or not while we are here, judging, we can see how it is people are the way they are. You are able to spot all these flaws in other people but does that really define them in actuality? Is it all that they are? It’s all conditioning, mind stuff, and having minds we can automatically relate...so UNDERSTAND that your projections are YOU and also are NOT the wholeness of BEING (attachment to identity and projections are all that is revealed IMO)

Hmm seems like you have heard lots of great advice! I’m actually nearing 30 myself and I had a friend a bit older than me (female) who didn’t have much interest in kids. Well guess what, she got pregnant! ? I think she’s changed her outlook completely, at least in regards to her own boy. Sometimes children can be like that best friend that always pushes you to be better and push your boundaries I wanted kids some time ago and eventually I worked with kids for a few years, at an after school club mostly in the gym. Amazing humbling experience. Children are great and often teach us as much as we teach them . Nowadays there’s no strong desire, only going to depend on who I might have kids with...I do believe there’s still fear in me regarding becoming “tied down” by kids but this only comes with having a limiting belief. Good luck ?

@Aakashsounds like your path to enlightenment or non duality has created a disconnect between you and the world...isn't it funny how easily spirituality becomes a part of the rat race? You are right dude. GO BACK to living life. And heck go back to conforming, it may be the only way to possibly go/see beyond the limits (but may be not) either way you will be following your desire the concept of a tomato is the illusion, and so are YOU -
DrewNows replied to Aakash's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
To exclude part of the whole is to again limit ourself to the finite... the integration process is going to take understanding, give it patience. It’s not what others do or think that matters, it’s all your focus and understanding that counts -

If you’re planing on postponing life in search for enlightenment, you should be able to answer these questions: what does enlightenment mean to you? How will it change your life if attained? Is your life naturally shifting into this direction or are you going to have to make big sacrifices (in life purpose) to go on this journey? what are your true desires, and would you be able to let them all go? How bad are you suffering? Make sure you are ready to give up your identity. (See if you can answer these for yourself) -
lmao. Who knows...maybe Charlotte would prefer to go by "Charles" Totally joking @Charlotte my dudette and Shin doesn't have a serious bone in his body...wonder how it feels being totally compromised by funny bones
-
Hahaha! @Shin always busting people's balls! while "flu time" sounds fun and all, don't forget, Wim Hof! Method is there for those who find themselves susceptible to having too much fun during the flu season feel butterr! @Charlotte

@PretentiousHumanYes all that sounds good, theres also exercise, fasting and really listening to your body and not your head for your food quality/quantity. For consciousness work there’s psychedelics which I’ve only done once, little before I got into spirituality. Also shamanic breathing, similar to wim method but more breathing intensive, helps to release trapped emotions, I believe. (Leo has a video about it) Consciousness work is mainly observing thought-self, my reactions, fears and beliefs in day by day activities to better understand myself Health wise - Occasionally I’ll blend up a smoothie with some greens (usually just kale)
-
Also i dont find it more helpful throwing in spiral dynamics. The more simpler we can make it, generally the better it is we understand it

This here is a great video on the subject. Teal Swan offers an expansive look with many perspectives:
-
For sure! It takes progression to work up to full body ice bath for long duration. Cold showers are still fantastic, however seemingly undesirable, with the breathing techniques the cold is much more tolerable and no longer so pins and needles ha
-
When done correctly there should be no shaking. Shaking is a warning ⚠️ to the system the core temperature may be in jeopardy. I’ve done ice baths for over 15 minutes and full body emersion. There’s no pain after 30ish seconds. Once you start to shake or teeth chatter it’s time assess whether you’re back in the head and to get out of it continues, calming the mind can usually bring you back to equilibrium
