It is completely dependent on one’s perspective, is it not? That’s what creates it -

My definition for insanity would be “mind trapped in resistance unable to surrender” but some minds may desire to be trapped in a certain pattern of resistance, so for them It’s not insane -

he means is it actually takes a perspective/POV to label anyone including yourself as sane or insane. If one is lost in insanity they are lost in their perspective in relation to an idea. This was exactly the case in my horrifying trip down the rabbit hole -

Simply a “challenge” ? and you’re right, totally unsolvable with just the mind. Using humility, self love and being aware of thoughts potential hijacking, just maybe... watched your latest vid ? will smoke to that ? Good work and your spirituality started sounding sort of religious...see how easy thought hijacks our focus through new beliefs and ideas about reality simply for comfort or satisfaction? -
How about when they feel hurt or sad or scared?

1# understand the nature of experience-phenomenon in movement in our daily life, referred to as phenomenological psychology. 2# to understand the nature of thought and it’s relationship to the self, which also correlates with #1 3# to understand the nature of psychological time, in which also is interconnected with both #1 & #2. Serious practice becomes an art as does life The problems arise in between practices -
@Joseph Maynor sounds like an interesting experience. Not sure if you are relating to compassion or a sort of mental clarity but it sounds like a good dynamic to observe and figure out
-
@Joseph Maynoryou speak as if childlike playfulness is a quality in need of question. I don’t share this opinion as seriousness and stubbornness being a big part of my life was not so beneficial and ultimately the cause of much suffering. You come off as stage blue judgement. Rogan may not be so conscious or intelligent but I enjoy his people skills, chill attitude and realness. Nothing wrong with a little trusting manipulation to open people up. While there isn’t great potential for a rise in consciousness through his content it does a great job in expanding viewers perspectives

@Truth Addict enjoyed this conversation/exploration ? it is tricky separating belief from fact when looking into what is -
I asked if you have done or heard of it. You ignored me so if figured youd expended this meditation technique. Just did some research for you and found this video. This technique has been known to cure adhd but i know it won’t if you cling to beliefs that’s say otherwise

hahaha everybody has a good time in conversation with the ROGAN

@BeemanAre your actions spontaneous or are you simply trying to act spontaneous because it gives you pleasure seeing how others react? In other words do you act this way to gain some form of pleasure or out of love for life (no strings attached, or seriousness). Ask yourself if you are happy in making yourself the butt of a joke

I speak of attaining wisdom or knowledge of the self not to obliterate/resist it but to function wholly without any sort of neurosis or energy zapping delusion. It is simply going beyond the thoughts which create stagnation (pain, suffering etc) to access the boundless energy of freedom without the identification of mind. Choice-less awareness possibly leading to headlessness. Here lies the realm of infinite creativity, love, compassion, and joy. It's all Faceless used to communicate on here -

@Identity May i suggest you look into indecision, heres a video about it:

I am saying all psychological fear is conflict. Thought is not evil, it is useful and needed for planning, survival, learning and creating. Thought-self is what creates the division/confusion/fear/separation etc. We cannot force passion or love, I think it's beneficial not to continue lumping it all into the same category as some idea/belief for this is yet another obstacle as identification for thought-self Edit: also i feel it is important not to label any thoughts/feelings (fear, anger, shame, anxiety, depression, pleaseure) as being good or bad because this ultimately is the avoidance to understanding the mind, which cannot be bypassed -
hahaha this almost drove me to tears <3
-
not so easily dissolved, the conditioning of the false sense of I. So wrapped up in stories and beliefs always looking to the past for comfort

In other words when you aren't meditating you might fall back asleep because there isn't awareness of "psychological time" -
hmm interesting. i smell fear or maybe manipulation

What you don't understand is that any sort of regiment or idea we adopt and make a part of our self is going to have consequences for the mind because we no longer do things on our own accord but from the authority of another. The mind was trapped in a practice and when released, you automatically become more present, no longer looking to thought (ideas or a belief) for direction/purpose. Any life purpose can easily produce these sort of impact if we aren't mindful of our own thoughts and how they are operating. I like to say the first year i got into weight lifting i became quite addicted and suffered from "weight lifting syndrome" it was considered a part of my identity (thought-self) -
Maybe you like to be spontaneous and free spirited? As in you don't cling to people or ideas regarding certain situations Doesn't sound like you let your beliefs or other people dictate how you behave which is awesome but of course you could simply be playing "the joker"

That’s the thing with fear, it only exists in relationship to thought. Even using thought as “hope” is an escape and a perpetuation of fear. Fear isn’t ended through effort, by defense, distraction or any other form of resistance The end to fear/anxiety is only possible when we stop seeing fear as something to be conquered or overcome. It must be understood in its entirety through observation. If you care to dive deeper into fear read through this very carefully: https://www.livereal.com/psychology/fear-krishnamurti/ Of course the real work is in the observation, cheers

@Truth Addict that makes sense, the universal love. Fear only arises in relationship with thought. thought or division is conflict fear = thought = conflict Yes fear can be very tricky. It takes no psychological time. There can be no defense against fear, only with observation and understanding of it as a whole can there be the ending. -
@kieranperezWould you care to share your experience with this sort of meditative yoga practice? (Deep breathing and cold showers)
