I’d like to share an awesome interview with the great theoretical physicist, David Bohm. He touches on the scientific exploration of reality, his own work, and the connection he made with the work of Krishnamurti, interpreting experience, the human condition and its impact on society with fragmentation

@lostmedstudent First off make peace with your own perspective on your financial situation and the fear that comes with it. Try to see how well you can understand it. Then ask these sorts of questions: How do you make your choices in your spending? Do you habitually look at quality or price? Is your thoughts pointing toward lack or abundance? How are you not living a life of abundance? Might sound silly but ask yourself how it would feel like to be completely financially independent. How would you treat others differently without any fear or feeling of lack? You could also imagine how you would treat someone who currently has more than you if you actually saw their wealth as being part of your own. Then ask how it would be possible to get there. And again find the mentality of someone pursuing exactly that...

@jbram2002 not even sure how to assimilate that quote or idea with my thoughts hahah

@jbram2002 in all honesty I’ve felt as if I’ve been forced to take steps backwards being here but i won’t say it hasn’t had its return. If I feel stuck then any direction is going to be necessary haha

THere should be an audio book on youtube called "rich dad poor dad" this is great for gaining some perspective on how different people perceive money, wealth, and success. Teal Swan offers some good psychological advice in "money is the root of all evil" and a few other videos like "why you havent won the lottery" But mainly you will have to reflect on your beliefs and start shifting your focus habitually, this raises your vibration. It is a practice ive been doing for a year and it is very freeing to not constantly be with the money concern and able to look in more practical ways without an emotional attachment. Ive even noticed money flowing my way unexpectedly, easier, and it is quite nice edit: This has just been my experience as someone who suffered from an unhealthy relationship with money, always related to fear and lack of abundance in the various relationships in life

Haha yes you’re awesome ??

Haven’t read all the posts here but would suggest exploring how to create a mentality of abundance. I would be happy to recommend some content for that

Thank you for pointing this out. Wasn’t sure if that is what you meant. Quite possible I have a bias against woman, against mom like I said I never respected her most of my life, this isn’t to say I didn’t love her and haven’t been working to show her respect now I gave myself life and I reach out to Tsuki because I thought he would be familiar with the perspective/understanding I shared I’m intrigued by this journal but not certain I use it properly. Mandy thanks for caring

Great understanding of shadow work, appreciate this @Serotoninluv wow what a powerful deep multi perspective on exploring the human condition and the inevitable mind fucks i really appreciate this clear articulation and expansiveness will enjoy reflecting on all these great perspectives and insights ?? -
Is it necessary to figure out/understand why we behave a particular way by going back into our “past” (using memory, our story, timeline) to understand/heal trauma and our shadow aspects? I could see it helpful for those with severe mental/mood disorders. J Krishnamurti invites his audience to learn through observation w/out evaluation of thought and emotion in relation to self, seeing the false division and total movement of thought/psychological time. This meditative alertness separate from thought, he calls total attention and is the integration in itself of the different illusive aspects of mind, allowing for boundless freedom. Edit: I suppose there’s a level of humility necessary to embody such a groundless form of being “To be free of all authority, of your own and that of another, is to die to everything of yesterday, so that your mind is always fresh, always young, innocent, full of vigour and passion. It is only in that state that one learns and observes. And for this, a great deal of awareness is required, actual awareness of what is going on inside yourself, without correcting it or telling it what it should or should not be, because the moment you correct it you have established another authority, a censor.” Quote from Jiddu Krishnamurti’s book, freedom from the known

Haha haha not sure I follow

So basically you speak of healing pieces of the self by allowing and not trying to change. I don’t think there needs to be a perfect form other than the authenticity and vulnerability/honesty in being explaining the heart or intuition as that capricious little kid requiring retrospection really speaks to me haha appreciate the clarity and wisdom

@mandyjw uh oh there’s that “should” statement ? it’s interesting I’ve always liked to question why we do certain things and it seems there’s a process of understanding as Tsuki said in your journal sefish-selfless-SELFish -
Yup...sign clear as day haha

Thanks all ? @tsuki interesting. Yes not to deny whatever arises in thought. Sort of reminds me of exploring a belief and in a sense it is the same thing @mandyjw I don’t think so Mandy. That’s just going too far ?? And no, you like my messy house or get out! (Sarcasm) @Truth Addict Totally sounds like the ideal strategy necessary for integration. If and when I do trigger the beast I’ll do my best to feed it some awareness @Marinador yes to what? Humility? -
@tsuki that makes more sense. Shadow work and healing trauma is clearly not just an intellectual process done with the mind if I understand correctly. I still have a little trouble understanding the distinction between heart and mind, sounds like heart is of feeling and awareness aspect though. Why’s there more left to do once the mechanism is broken? Is it because there is stored trauma with shadows and what not that will come out? Or really that the mind will continue to have the cunning ability to take the ranes?
-
@Zigzag Idiot that’s a beautiful quote
-
what is with the minds need to know why it is the way it is. to justify its situation and actions, and perspective. Silly i was using this journal to reflect and judge instead of only mirror @tsukiIve been doing some more contemplation on the subject of shadow work and self reflection in relation to the observation of thought-self. With the observation of thought/self shifting to the attention of the whole, keeping alertness, this seems to be a constant learning and creating outside of the programming as the solution in of itself. Doing the self reflection and shadow work can easily drag me back into identification with thought-self divided leading to its perpetuation and inevitable pain.

Epic. ? -
This is excellent to hear. Perhaps you will be inclined to take the leap of faith for your grandpa. Be aware of the mind’s tendency to put all your eggs (possibilities) into one basket. Who’s to say you can’t play music while studying an interest, while working, or even while having a family etc etc

@Joseph Maynor maybe your coaching style could focus on shadow work...the course is yours! -

Sometimes it does but I would say you don’t know what you don’t know. Shadow self is part of the illusion of self. This means it must be understood through the self -
@mandyjw I bet it’s difficult as a mom to even remember half the time to make the extra effort for yourself when you automatically have your kids needs on the plate. Much respect to you for doing it. I think moms often take one extreme or the other out of fear of failing themselves or their kids. The mistake is in action from fear ? change not possible w/out self love
-
Something else I’ve realised is these things will never be as bad as they sound but not as easy as described ?it’s so nice to get the fear out at least
