no no no. you trick yourself. this is okay because then you learn from the tricks and realize it is irrelevant how youre feeling, it can be manipulated, but you will never know the outcome, can you be okay living in the unknown, completely groundless?

No. But generally your jokes are a nice break in the forum dynamic. And you often mix it with wisdom, so nobody ever knows when you’re actually serious or not. through it all I see your kind heartedness and empathy but it’s always tough to spot your suffering

If you were “so wise” you wouldn’t hold the belief you could give someone the right solution for their problem, but in sharing your perspective/view, they may eventually, come to the understanding and create change Every time in your life where you created your own change by understanding others/experiences, this is identical to how others figure out how to change. I’m happy for you. Stop helping others for them and start helping or not helping others for you ❤️

Here it is, you haven’t understood why you actually have the desire to give your wisdom. “Help me! Help you!” figuring them out will be ultimately figuring you out Don’t talk about the extreme until you can see every layer in between

If you don’t see the similarities in the way people think in relation to you then good news, there’s room to grow! You find no one here thinking similarly to you? I mean sure you’ve always been sort of an odd, endangered ? to me but I am fascinated by this

Hey there. Welcome to the forum! Can’t wait to get to know your ego remember there’s nothing wrong with egos trips as people both on and off the forum fall into the traps. These traps actually don’t exist outside of YOU and aren’t traps unless you see them as such (put that in your pipe and smoke it) Ultimately when we feel a desire to help someone it is a disguise, a projection, of how we can help ourselves. We are all here to help ourselves, and allow others to help themselves. Give and take in the mirroring sense. God is so beautiful Edit: we may not always seemingly be trying to help ourselves but sharing personal experience is also, in a sense, giving us personal satisfaction for our own journey, a good place to connect with similar thinking folk

yeah thanks Jon this was a good read. i may take zigzag's point and your example, do some life story sharing of my own as im sort of stuck in a similar boat as you, minus the wife. youre welcome to check out my journal What a deep family dynamic you went through and certainly a very controlled upbringing. This must be so tough for you. Hope you and Mandy do some real shadow work together when you get the chance. So you are stuck at really trying to figure out what you want whenever you aren't even entirely sure who you are! This sounds like a tight bind but realize the desires you manifest based off your interests will create opportunities to face your shadows and see the missing parts begin to return. It sounds like youve been going by the books for most of your life. Id start questioning some of your beliefs and take on some new adventures. Challenge yourself and see if there is a chance you can start loving yourself again. Im excited to continue doing shadow/mirror work with ya in the future, cheers

Let this be a lesson to anyone who considers themselves a serious seeker/know-er of Enlightenment/Liberation/Truth/Banana or the end of suffering (you name it!): DO NOT turn spirituality into your dogma or "new identity" There is no real death of the body/mind functionality except in certain states of consciousness Recognize and be-aware, the mind will use the newly realized idea of Truth to end or completely disrupt the story of you For you extremists out there like myself who have had some radical awakenings and expansion in consciousness, the story of you must not end, but, continue on, with a deeper love to embrace all that is in the eternal now, living through the now transparent story of you and humanity Guess what...

Love and embrace your feelings of attachment for they hold no grip ? not when god is with you you are just seemingly there enough to live through god’s plan love you dude, your infinite humor is unmatched
