  1. Solipsism is kind of true, but you probably misunderstand it. It suffers the same fate as nihilism a few years/decades back. If in doubt, just act as if everyone is real. If solipsism leads you to treat everyone like an empty shell it has become falsehood. Solipsism = Love. Else it can't be true.
  2. Better take some LSD and think about the possibilities of your future.
  3. @Princess Arabia https://www.actualized.org/forum/topic/96713-why-am-i-being-haunted-by-ghosts-and-spirits-all-of-a-sudden/ This is a perfect example of not feeling alone when you appear to be.
  4. You can definitely hallucinate people that appear very real. And who's to say that feeling alone isn't equally mad. It's pretty arbitrary, isn't it?
  5. What do you mean by that? Are you saying that it's only "i feel alone" and never "i want to be alone"? That's just not true. There are many people (including me) that find ongoing social contact exhausting after some time. I'm sure you know that of yourself, too, in some way shape or form, aren't you?
  6. Else it would be just an always full hotel. Or how would you empty such a hotel? It's the same problem backwards.
  7. It's the human mind that does that. It's still a beautiful instrument, but you have to realize that it's not what you are. Per default you're identified with it, cause there's nothing else to compare it to. That's the reason spirituality becomes really important, to distance yourself from your human mind. After that you're able to use the mind way more effectively. I like the term "jailbreak" here. We've got a lot of progress to do here regarding that. Individually and collectively. The potential of the human mind is still mostly untapped.
  8. There are hierarchies of Truth. There's nothing but Truth, but you can be aware of only a tiny sliver of it. That's still true, but if you mistake it for the whole, suffering will arise one way or the other.
  9. It’s you that was so good about it and now you forgot yourself again.
  10. So many of the discussions here devolve into senseless battles about the "right" worldview or perspective on God. Or they can end up becoming a circle jerk, where we all congratulate each other for our spiritual achievements. I'm not saying that every discussion is like this, else I wouldn't even bother to write here. There are nuggets of wisdom every now and again, as well as people seriously doing the work and looking for support on something they got stuck on. That's all completely fine and beautiful. That's also based on direct experience. All you say should be backed up by your direct experience, else it isn't worth anything. We don't need to produce more vapour, we should strive for conciseness & clarity. When I realize that I became entangled in some discussion here and I'm now just defending my view, I say fuck it! – and do more of the work. And then I return when I have something significant to contribute. And you should too. I think a good rule of thumb would be – I call it the "silence rule" (that also applies to any kind of art): "Would my post be more meaningful than just being silent?"
  11. Or it's all outside. But it is both and neither.
  12. My take on genius: If your idea isn't ridiculed by a majority of people, then it's not advanced enough.
  13. The Infinite is What Is. Always. But it is currently experiencing the undertaking of the adventure of duality. That adventure can and will end. Until then we're all bound here, even if you have some radical awakening but return. As soon as we're not longer bound here (a possibility that exists at all times), this universe how we know it will no longer appear. But it is not the objective to no longer be bound here, because it is a choice we're doing consciously right now. What's our objective then, you may ask? To Awaken. After that it will no longer be necessary to "escape". FULL Awakening will result in annihilation of this Universe.
  14. It seems to be a feature and not a bug that out of the perspective of the ego the Absolute seems terrible and terrifying. If that wasn't the case, we probably would all be enlightened by now. If it seems ugly, it's your ego. Reality knows only Beauty.
  15. To achieve and especially hold higher states of consciousness you need massive grounding first. Without it they can even be detrimental.
  16. With that reasoning you can shut down any exploration into the nature of consciousness.
  17. True, that’s why you don’t build your life on them.
  18. Only if you're ready to undertake that much responsibility for years to come. Time- & money-wise. It's by far no panacea.
  19. Alcohol, especially daily/regular consumption, definitely lowers your consciousness. Taking drugs solely for pleasure is a huge distraction. It will never fill the hole you feel inside you, it will in fact make it bigger. They are not able to really satisfy you, instead you'll be constantly on the run to your next high. It's hell, really. Self-created hell by being deeply attached to impermanent bodily sensations. You can get high from time to time, but it's a cherry on top. First you gotta feed your soul's desires. And then you're able - maybe for the first time - to actually enjoy it. You just gotta find it or create it from scratch based on your deepest desires. You have desires! Else you wouldn't take drugs to achieve peace of mind. Instead take on fulfilling them for real, instead of just suppressing them with narcotics. Go identify them! But you might need to take a break from the alcohol to allow them to surface. You've been repressing them for so long...
  20. Because Love is the best word for it. Human love is a pale imitation of the real thing.
  21. They're real but they are your imagination.
  22. @Razard86 Interesting. Good knowing of the possibility. But first I got some unfinished business to do here. There’s no need to hurry. I’ll know when I’m ready.
  23. From an unfinished discussion in a now locked thread: For context, I said: @Razard86 answered: So, let's discuss: Is being God special or not? I'd say it's at the same time the most special thing ever and nothing special at all, depending on your perspective. Got another perspective? I invite you to share it here so we can have a discussion about this
  24. Chill. Get yourself together and take time off spirituality. just my Intuition I share
