No. It has aspects of that but the core event is completely different. Its a psychedelic musical with a story based on a hero’s journey that spans over 5 hours. But the attendants are not merely there as an audience but actively participating in the creation of something truly special. You will - if you do it how it’s intended - live through the story as if it happened to you. Or at least you will activate emotions so strong as if it would be the case. we go to a complete ground zero energy wise, when the great disaster of the story strikes for our main character. And then.. when you think it is over, the actual amazing part begins where everything turns around and something completely different takes the stage. And at the end we will meet the ON in person - a network of pure consciousness energy that creates and destroys a huge amount of worlds all the time and at the same time incarnates in them to create the experience of true beauty. After alls said and done and we experienced the absolute climax: Seeing the universe out of the eyes of the ON — we come back down to earth and celebrate life and every single being in it. At the very end, if all goes well, we tune in, just for one night, into the eternal dance of the universe and celebrate one last time.. We will know if it worked at that point, because all I said becomes literally real when done right.

But not what and how I will do it I don’t know of another spiritual musical combined with a psychedelic dance ceremony. Also the story of the musical will certainly be different.. @Princess Arabia Yeah that’s certainly nice, too. But mine will be completely different.

There won't be a religious leader. There will only be a lead singer and performer that leads through the story and night. But anyone can do that later when they're familiar with the material.

The way I described it it's not about building a community in that sense beyond a night or weekend. Except of course casual exchanges outside that or maybe a forum, but all very loose. Maybe think of it more like a verb – (to) religion. We don't create a Religion, we 'religion'.

That's not doing nothing. Doing nothing would be to just sit there, stare at your wall or close your eyes and just breathe. You'd not even think about stuff.

But instead you have a story that you just live through – that's all. Only a story, that's also called a story and not facts. Think of a spiritual musical of some kind. With a story that touches on deeper subjects like life & death, addiction & depression, stagnation & transformation, hope & despair, time & impermanence, dying & resurrection, healing & forgiveness, love, emotions, humanity, the cosmos, the journey, the dance of the universe, and so much more... But you know at all times that it is only a story. A story that provokes you to contemplate more deeply, love more radical, live more passionately, give yourself more completely and so much more... And you can have the most amazing experience of contact with Life, Love and the Divine, but you can also just chill and hang out, exchange your ideas and feelings with others, you can just dance and enjoy yourself. Or you can go on a cosmic adventure that will transform you if you let it. You will express emotions in an intensity you've never known before, experience true catharsis, and at the end you look at the night sky and feel the connection to the cosmos and everything in it... You wink at the stars because you finally know that there's something you didn't know before. And they wink back at you because they know now you're finally in on their little secret... You don't have ANY responsibility beyond that night. Whatever happens is from now on your personal treasure and you can do with it and integrate it as you please.. And then you do that every month together with the most amazing, open and beautiful people you can think of... Wouldn't that be great?

Well. That's the thing. I'm aware of the possibility that I'm completely deluded. But I know what I saw and I know what I experience again and again when I take psychedelics. I saw that it is not only possible but it will be the most amazing celebration that ever happened on this planet by orders of magnitude.

We don't have to call it religion then. What I mean is developing a ceremony to attend with the intention of experiencing the Divine together in a repeatable fashion. Beyond that you can connect with other people, exchange viewpoints and whatnot. But there is no scripture that tells you what you have to believe and do.

A good religion doesn't provide you any answers. It just gives you a ceremony, a ritual, you can either attend and do with others or do it by yourself. And what you make of it is completely up to you. Taking 5-MeO in a certain setting and with a certain mindset already has characteristics of a ceremony. The only thing that's missing is doing it with others. You could argue that it's impossible to do it with others and reach nearly the same states. I'd argue that it's certainly harder, but impossible is a big word. The real question that you have to ask is: Would it be worth it?

This depends on your definition of religion. The concept of Religion has been completely polluted and twisted by humanity in the past centuries. If you define it as having an experience of the Divine together then I see absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Yeah, that's what I mean when I say path. Every trap you walk in is exactly as it should be. To get out of a trap is a huge learning experience, and everybody needs different ones because of their unique personality structure. You have to really understand the trap deeply to get out of it

@Yimpa Can't going to a night club already be a religious experience? Why not build upon that? I have to ask: Do you think I'm planning to create a new religion?

Why not? What's the problem with religion in the sense of doing spirituality together? I'm not talking about dogma or being a leader of a cult or something like that. But religion doesn't have to be that

Why? We talk about this stuff, don't we? That's what we're doing right now actually Wouldn't it be great if our vocabulary would be even more advanced?

Yeah you realize that there's nothing to achieve at some point. And then.. you do it anyway. Because why not. That idea is completely silly to think that you have to reach some obscure, almost unobtainable, point and then .. your life finally makes sense. Life wants to be LIVED. When I came to that point I realized that it is completely silly nonsense. That's the great joke: There's nothing to do, never was. And then you do it anyway. And by forgetting all those silly ideas you finally start to really live and experience joy and love and sadness and anger in a way and intensity you never did before. That's when you realize: There's only BEAUTY and LIFE is amazing! It's you! You're beautiful! Drop your silly games.

That reminds me of a thing I'm struggling with: I really love music and composing and when I do it I'm extremely grateful for it, it's amazing and even ecstatic sometimes. But then there is a longer dry period, often triggered by a harsh critique or being ignored, or just seeing that I'm the only one excited about what I did. And then I get extremely perfectionistic and can't finish a thing, because nothing's ever finished. I finished tracks, don't get me wrong, but it took a lot of overcoming myself. Okay I think I answered my question myself kind of. It's my ego that blocks my creative flow. But it's really hard to break...

Being is different from understanding or experiencing. As long as you don't confuse one with the other it's all good. You can do both.

Possibly past trauma. You gotta work through it one way or the other if that's the case. Otherwise look at your current situation: Are there things you don't want to acknowledge? Are you on the right track? Do you life authentically from moment to moment? It also helps to just notice that it's not real. That doesn't solve it immediately, but it may shorten the time it takes to subside. You could also go into WHY it's not real. What are counterarguments against your depressive thoughts in the moment? What situations went differently than you tell yourself? Try finding good ways to distract yourself in between. I know that sounds counterintuitive, but it can really help to take your mind off that negative thought spiral for a moment. Sometimes it's just what happens and you gotta finish the slide until you can get back up again. But that point will definitely come, even when you don't see the possibility right now. Have you spoken to a therapist or a friend? Telling your situation to others can help to gain new perspectives that are sometimes difficult to come up alone.

It's just a matter of definition. If you say: Enlightenment (or awakening) is knowing that there's only you, then it can be reached. But it can also change again. Everything that has a beginning will have an end. I'm starting to get the feeling that everybody means something completely different when using that word. It's just such a buzzword. It's so overused and misused that we should think about abandoning that term entirely and instead classify all different states of consciousness and give them completely new names.

I think that's the true art of living: Going stark raving mad while at the same time remaining completely grounded internally.

You can't even measure it because you don't really know whose testimony you trust. But you can't measure it by any other means either. Who decides who is enlightened? Is there a symptoms catalog like the DSM for mental illness? Who defines a thing like that? Sure, you could at least rule some people out that clearly aren't.. but can you really know for sure?

You can learn a lot about the sun by using different devices, contemplation and experiments. But you can never just stare into it. Or let's see it this way: If Awakening was light you can crank it up gradually and also dim it until you can't even see it anymore. All those experiences contribute to your understanding of light. But there's a maximum capacity you're able to handle as a human. You'd have to die to go beyond that.

Enlightenment is not binary. So very very hard to say. What's your definition of enlightenment?
