  1. Not the red flags. But maybe you can confirm certain theses or have an argument against them. I can't find any info in the internet about certain things he say
  2. That is the question I also interested in
  3. Hey. For the past 1,5 years, I was investing time and energy into building a 3D artist portfolio. I've finally found a job. The schedule is quite challenging: 10:00-19:00 5 days a week, and there are deadlines as this is the advertising industry, so work on the weekends is also possible (but they say if you worked on the weekends you can take 2 days off after finishing the deadline). After one week of work I feel a bit down, but better than expected. The good thing about this schedule is I have a lot of time in the morning so I'm able to do my yoga for 2hrs, but unfortunately, there is no room for jogging in the evening (the acute physical exercises are so crucial when having a sitting job). They have ergonomic workspaces i.e. regulated table height, and screen height so that's a plus My question is: how do I work so that I don't burn out, don't ruin my health, and also be able to devote Saturday to learning new 3d modeling techniques? Before starting my new career I've already had a bit of weak health: depleted nervous system, pain in my arm due to overuse of a mouse (I have an ergonomic one, but still), I feel underexercised - my body begs for movement My insights: do more intense yoga asanas and more repetitions of Surya Namskar. Yoga had already improved my health over the past half year. nootropics: genius mushrooms, a lot of omega-3 do Epsom salt baths once a week to restore magnesium deposits go to the sauna once per week (I'm too tense) buy a bike and use it to get to work in the morning must have one session of jogging once per week What are your insights guys?
  4. Since I started meditating (4yrs ago) I've noticed that after long period of not moving your eyes they stick to your eyelids. Then you wanna move them to unstick because it is uncomfortable, and moving them interrupts meditation. For the last half-of the year they've become to stick more often. Is it dry eye syndrom or what?
  5. It is probably magnesium defficiency, and general nervous system function defficiency. But for what I described here is called cervical radiculopathy, or pinched nerve. It is caused by deformation of intervertebral disc which affects the nerve going out of spinal cord
  6. Sorry for " 'lightbolt' shocks in the neck " I just don't know how to describe this problem:) Basically, it feels like... You just sit casually in a chair (maybe even relaxed), and suddenly your shoulder kicks up, and you feel as though some light bolt had stricken your neck muscle closer to this shoulder. You don't necessarily feel pain, just 'shock' and maybe some numbness in the area. The lightbolt sometimes strikes the elbow as well. I haven't experienced this for a long time, but it could be related to the next described issue. When I sleep my hands become numb (like there are needles that stab you at every square millimeter of your skin). It happens when I sleep on my side, or in 'pharaon pose' My bed is narrow, so it is not comfortable to sleep in shavasana as I like. It is also worth mentioning that I've had tics in my eyelashes, different muscles throughout my body. you may visit other topics on other health issues - you may find a connection between symptoms described in them and symptoms in this topic What do you think this caused by?
  7. I also have left lower rib sticking out since my childhood. Unfortunately, my parents weren't paying enough attention to my health. I'd improve my finances and take care of my health
  8. I currently having cervical radiculopathy. I wonder whether this hammock could be helpful
  9. For the last year I experience insomnia. Usually I while I'm laying down in my bed I think about my work - 3D graphic design which I'm passionate about so much. The problem is that after such a night when I wasn't able to fall asleep for 2 hrs, my inspiration for doing actual work on 3D is quite low. This insomnia depletes me. I also experience pressure in my temples, tinnitus. I don't know whether it is my thought pattern that causes pressure, or temple pressure which causes the thought diarrhea. I should mention that sometimes my thinking sometimes very intense, and I think it wastes a lot of energy. Do you guys know ways to momentarily calm yourself and fall asleep? How to unwire this tendency, and stabilize the sleep cycle so that I fall asleep early and wake up early? Thanks
  10. Recently I've received a post package from my mum and there were supplements. The package was cheap so I suspected these were low quality supplements. They contained magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide. I remember Leo listing in his nootropic video magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide among substances to avoid. I haven't found much concerning info about these 2 on the internet though Here is the source about magnesium stearate https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5655391/#!po=52.6786 Here's some quote: Upon ingestion, magnesium stearate dissolves into its component ions, magnesium and stearic and palmitic acids. Therefore, the safety assessment should be based on its constituent cations and anions. Fatty acids are normal constituents of coconut oil, butter and other edible oils and have not been considered to pose a toxicological risk [4], [31]. As such, it was concluded that stearic and palmitic acids used as flavouring agents do not present a safety concern [32]. This position has been supported by results of recent studies demonstrating a lack of genotoxicity and toxicity of some fatty acids containing stearic and palmitic acids And there is silicon dioxide study. Definitely cautious https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29668341/ What do you guys know about these 2 substances?

  12. I've started this topic earlier, and now I know that the reason of the symptoms described in the topic were other than I thought: I thought that I experience a temple, nose bridge pressure, and tinnitus because of a sinus infection. I've done a sinus X-ray and the doctor said there is nothing there. The neurologist said that I might be experiencing these symptoms (temple, nose bridge pressure, tinnitus) due to low blood pressure. I'd do an ultrasound of neck vessels on the 12th of August and will give an update on what it discovered. Meantime, maybe you have some insights on what may cause low blood pressure? I have some Ideas this could be because I sit a lot (I'm a 3d graphic designer and sit a lot), under exercise, overthink, being nervous (I'm currently living with my grandma and we have totally different values, she is a soviet child and I'm SD stage yellow. I also often think about other relatives that have different attitudes towards life). In the past, I've had very nervous periods, where I was angry 8 hrs per day with some stupid coworker. Also, I couldn't fall asleep because of some idea on 3d project I was constantly thinking about (I was working on not 3d graphic job and had no time to spend time on 3d modeling and therefore was craving for 3d very much). Also, it is worth mentioning that I've had a period in life when I was eating a lot of fast food (like crazy 3 pizzas per day), was playing video games for 16hrs per day, and also had an office all-day-sitting job. This period lasted for 2 years and ended 1 year ago (but sometimes I was returning few times to this lifestyle for a week or so) Right now I'm doing yoga every day, and I would start jogging 3 times per week So, what are your ideas? Do you think it is just stress?
  13. When I do Bhudjangasana (cobra pose) I lay down on my belly and I feel pain in my left knee. It seems that the hard floor pressures the kneecap and changes its position (moves it down the leg). It prevents me from fully relaxing my legs and lower back when performing the cobra pose. Wtf is happening with my left knee - the right knee lies on the floor with perfect comfort
  14. just saw this tutorial on artstation https://www.artstation.com/artwork/D5kXE0
  15. I'm Junior 3d artist. Here is my portfolio https://www.artstation.com/eugenethemodeler I received a lot by watching videos on this channel (russian language) https://www.youtube.com/c/CGAllies XYZ school (also russian language) https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6GTMU5WleyeyLZY0aazFpA I'm from Ukraine by the way)
  16. Also I experience wave of warmth throughout my body, feel much more aware after these convulsions when doing bhudjangasana. Sometimes I also experience wave of warmth and improved focus when I don't experience convulsions but weaker
  17. I'm not sure if it is pathology or a mystical experience. When I was doing shashank-bhujangasana and when taking cobra pose the head went rolling. Then it 'stroked' my neck and the next second I was laying on the ground. I don't remember the moment I was falling. When I was gazing at the floor, there was an alternate feeling of 'self', the feeling was very mystical. There are a lot of factors to claim this thing is pathology or a mystical experience: Pathology: I have neurological issues, like tics, spasms, restless leg syndrome (I've cured this one), sometimes when laying in bed my body suddenly jumps, I had neck/shoulder strikes earlier in my life I generally have a lot of chronic symptoms: head swelling, tics/spasms, in the abdomen, hot flashes, some mysterious mild pains in different areas of my body Mystical experience: It felt nice I do yoga every day for 3 months and sometimes throughout the day my ego dissolves - it became a normal phenomenon. Recently I am able to relax deeper in vipassana Generally, after asanas that affect the neck, spine, twisting asanas, I experience perception enhancements such as more subtle perception, attention to the details, focus maybe both of these claims are true: the asana is really powerful, but I'm not yet ready for it What do you guys&girls think about this? Should I immediately run to the doctor, or slowly but surely adapt to this powerful asana?
  18. I've started similar thread on reddit. The practice called Kunjal Kriya. You drink 3l of salty water (salt prevents acid secretion, so there should be no damage to teeth in theory). But unfortunately I've stopped doing this practice because I'm not able to vomit out all water and it goes down the intestine. https://www.reddit.com/r/yoga/comments/vapmpi/cant_vomit_out_all_water_kunjal_kriya/
  19. what do you mean by this? Actually I want to said I'm circumsed - so does anything changes with that? I'm more afraid to do cunnilingus to every girl I meet
  20. Sometimes when I go to the toilet I go near the cat and can't stop and give him a few strokes. After that, I go to the toilet and touch my penis. Should I be concerned? Could I get some infections in such a way? By the way, I have an outdoor toilet, where there is a bucket underneath your asshole which you are shitting into. As I suspect there are many bacteria floating in the air, toilet paper got covered by them. Could it also be a threat to infections? By the way, another question. Is there a risk of catching some infections from oral sex? Even kisses or laying in bed with another person may give you an undesirable microbiome. Sadhguru has the following perspective on this in his book "Karma": when you have a lot of sex with different people you are accumulating karma (memory), and women are more sensitive and accumulate more of it. Anthony Williams says in his book Cleanse to heal that you can catch a parasite an unproductive bacteria or a low-grade virus from a kiss, from common-living people. What do you guys think about these topics?
  21. Since the middle of the winter I've got ear ringing, it disturbs me at night and prevents me from falling asleep. The feeling slowly progresses, and I start feeling the slight aching in another ear. What I think it could be related to: I am doing jala neti (cleansing the nasal cavity with salty water), and the water I might have used wasn't very clean I've stopped the practice and I will wait for a few weeks to check if it was causing it I've caught a 'cold' - exposed ear to cold during winter My organism is highly intoxicated - there was a period of 2 years when I was eating a lot of junk food. Because of it, I have a lot of chronic symptoms: neural tics, restless leg syndrome/muscle cramps/stiffness(cured this), spasms, hot flashes, etc I suppose to do some shankha prakshalana (yogic practice of cleansing the intestine with salty water The complicated factor is that I don't have money now, I'm stuck in a small village in Ukraine, and my grandma sustains me. I've got some job offers in Poland but men are not allowed to leave the country (due to obvious reasons). If I would have enough money, and access to a grocery store with a bunch of celery, I would do Anthony Williams 3:6:9 cleanse (celery helped me earlier, but then I temporarily moved to my grandma where I wasn't able to access celery). Also, my grandma bakes some cakes after which I don't feel good, and my health problems only strengthen. When I was sustaining myself I didn't have a problem with healthy eating, but now when a smelly pie lies on a table I couldn't avoid eating it. Other ways I suppose to do to cure myself continue to do yoga. Yoga offers a lot of asanas that massage the internal organs and thus push dirty blood to be filtered do shankha prakshalana do 36hrs water fasts every week try not to concentrate to avoid junk food but to eat as much healthy food I can What do you think could be a reason to ear ringing issue, and how to cure it? Again, I know the tools, but couldn't afford them right now, and fear that if I wait for half of the year, my health would be destroyed
  22. I have the same issue, I would go to a doctor in the coming days
  23. In my case, it doesn't feel like I've become conscious of the all-penetrating AUM or sth. It is persistent, it affects only one ear, sometimes I experience mild pain, feel like there is some 'water' in there. Generally, I have a lot of chronic illness symptoms and in the background of these symptoms ear ringing doesn't seem to be a sign of spiritual growth I would visit a doctor at the soonest time.
  24. Revolver - stage yellow movie with elements of spiritual wisdom packed in an envelope of Las Vegas, gangs, robbing a casino etc Peaceful warrior - about a hero's journey, living your purpose American made - a beautiful movie with Tom Cruise
