  1. I recently rewatched a clip of Leo interviewing Peter Ralston and have been contemplating: what is consciousness work? I'm having some trouble getting to the core of it. I'd be interested to hear different perspectives or insights from anyone willing to help me get on the right track.
  2. This is the reading list Ralston sent me for the apprenticeship what do you think any questions or comments would be appreciated. Ralston's books: The Book of Not Knowing (required reading) Pursuing Consciousness (required reading) The Genius of Being (required reading) Zen Body-Being (required reading) Consciousness Dialogues (required reading) Ancient Wisdom, New Spirit Reflections of Being Other Educational Possibilities: (if you have time) Zen Flesh, Zen Bones Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind, Suzuki Actualizations, Stewart Emery On Time and Being, Heidegger The Knee of Listening, Franklin Jones (Bubba Free John) Steps to an Ecology of Mind, Gregory Bateson The Way of Chuang Tzu, Merton Tao Te Ching, Lao Tzu The Book of Tea Zen in the Art of Archery Critique of Pure Reason, Kant (difficult) Some others: The Journey to Ixtlan, Castenada @Leo Gura
  3. @Leo Gura could you elaborate ive only read peters books and the tao te ching. Some of the books do seem kind of generic though. Ps I love your book list I've read through most of it.

  11. The kicker is you were never really there at least not the you you think you are.
  12. Well first you need to ask yourself. What is anger? What is jealousy? Imagine someone just slapped you in the face now you're angry now ask yourself what is anger. NOW GET REALLY HONEST. I'm sure you would agree you're actually hurt someone just slapped you in the face and now your emotional hurting. So now what do you do with that Well you get angry of course but if you're really honest you can just be hurt and vulnerable and from that honest vulnerable place you can handle the situation better. Or you can just be angry ?
  13. @Leo Gura that's funny it's pretty much opposite for me as far as I can tell but then again I don't have much experience with 5 meo.
  14. @Leo Gura how did you do 5 meo 30 days in a row how? What is you're motivation how do you even get yourself to do it I'm really curious. Nothing even remotely compares to the ringer that put me through. Even my high dose dmt trips and lsd trips.
  15. @zikzak not much at all like 1mg but I immediately became conscious of everything and after my mind was In fear ecstasy and everything in between as my mind was struggling with the Infinite implications. Physical my body was vibrating like fucking crazy as energy was pulsating out of every pore of my body. This shit is no joke now I know how leo burnt the tip of his fingers.
  16. what the fuck. I guess I'm extremely sensitive to 5 meo and im god apparently. That was not what I expected at all.
  17. @zikzak thanks for the advice I'm going to start with a very small dose and see what happens fingers crossed.
  18. I just got my hands on some 5-MeO-DMT I've never tried it before any advice? I've had about 60+ high dose dmt trips and have been contemplating daily for about a year now if that context helps any.
