@VioletFlame "You don't understand what AI does or what being human is being about. You're taking about substance not structure. All these things are all possible in an AI powered society and probably even more so. Remember that people thought electricity was gonna ruin mankind due to being a demonic force and the amish still don't use it today. AI is about automating labor. The rest is up to you my friend. " I didn't mean to insult you with this. My point was actually basically a socialist point that human existence has been dominated by forced labor throughout history and if this AI technology does free us from that then that will not rob us of our human heart and soul but instead allow it to flourish.

I think Leo has an almost autistic level of scrutinity when it comes to things like this but I think ultimately he is a very pragmatic man and will ultimately becomes a proponent of AI when it starts to overwhelmingly live up to its promises. I would argue that calling AI overhyped is factually incorrect as the technology is so groundbreaking it will soon break our whole economic system and literally our biological reality and make us biologically immortal. Now you can obviously turn right back around and call this again overhyped but I would just say you're wrong and then we can then proceed to have a rigorous intellectual debate around it if you're intellectually honest but you would lose that.

No, I'm objectively right you're literally not using critical thinking and using your feelings not using any piece of data or actual structured argument to make a point. Sorry this is gonna sound rude but a lot of the reason why a lot of people are offended by AI models is because humans don't use logic when making their points their just vent their feelings and hope people agree with them and get mad when they don't like you're saying. But if you want we can go piece by piece and break down your argument and I'll prove I'm right. That's the whole point actualizing to deconstruct yourself and your ideas right? You use ad hominems and moving the goal posts. AI girlfriends was never the main point of my post, you're responding on a thread on an economic analysis of AI industry being in the state of a bubble and likely causing a crash. Even if I wanted to move my position back to defending AI companions I think I would probably do that successfully, feel free to make a specific claim around that industry and we can talk about it.

Selfishness is ranked above shame in the scale of consciousness. I know you meant it well but look at sneaky self-deception is, you're looking for sympathy and validation instead of taking action on the goal of being selfless and less selfish. What are you going to do in the next week and month to reduce your selfishness? Volunteer? Donate? What do you have that is valuable to give out to others? State it and we will hold you accountable to it @Spiritual Warrior

@VioletFlame See, you've proven that you not only lack critical thinking skills but are also antagonistic as well as lacking reading comprehension skills. I have plenty of conversations with real women, I literally run a podcast around it. Because I find it necessary to call you out on your lazy point on AI doesn't mean you should get so mad. Attack the point not the person.

Too long; didn't watch Gis od damn do I hate when people link videos without context. I will provide more value from my post than yours even though it's completely unrelated with this analysis of Palpatine from Star Wars I've been getting more into Star Wars these past few months and it's shocking how much political detail there is that I didn't catch on to as a kid. Incentives is a good thing to study as you can see after watching the video Palpatine has no good incentive just personal power and no redeeming moral qualities. It seems that Ali Khomenei is somewhat to Palpatine in terms of using secret police and violent authoritarianism to enforce his control over society. They are 62% similar according to Gemini.

If you considered satanism to be a low version of reality then your comment would fall as such in terms of the refusal to use your brain and just lash out in anger. @enchanted What were the pier's main points? I didn't watch it but according to Gemini the Iranian guy checkmated himself when Piers correctly pointed out that he can't criticize the regime because he lives under a violent authoritarian regime and the professor indeed refused to do so and changed the subject

Money is very spiritual. It's literally a means of accounting life energy. If you think you can reach a lot of people and impact their lives without money, business and marketing skills than I mean that seems like a fool's errand to me. I think of spiritual people that are very against money to just be spiritually bypassing. If you think of yourself above money then that's just another form of spiritual arrogance. Teal swan has hundreds of free videos on her channel that she's spent tens of thousands of dollars hiring an editing team and content team to put out and produce. That's not enough for you? She has to go out and make continuous free events without renumeration? Why? Why is expecting other entities to work for you, spend their limited time and suffer to do so for free? You can absolutely take advantage of vulnerable people and charge more than they're able to afford due to their desperation and through cult like manipulation but summarizing the mere act of a commercial transaction as such is delusional IMO.

For someone who prides themselves on human intelligence I would argue that this is a pretty low intelligence comment. Technology enhance our cognitive power, such as been its result since the dawn of time. You're writing because someone made tech that allowed us to transmit knowledge in written form as opposed to orally. People thought that would make us dumber. Not just random people. Socrates himself in fact. People thought the internet would ruin the world. Here you are making your arguments on it. An AI model can help you isolate the main ways in which the war in Iran will affect your local economy and how that will affect food prices and energy prices and how that will affect unemployment in your area. You can take this information and go talk to your city council and make an initiate out of it. Or you could turn off your internet access and try to become a world class economist in your bedroom by yourself. Good luck. Ironically 90% of the comments that accuse AI of ridding humanity of critical thinking lack much if any critical thinking. Who whoulda thunk.

A lot of graphic design and marketing jobs have already and will keep being lost due to AI being able to replicate template very effectively at this point. This guy explains all his past work as put into an AI model and now his company could just produce stuff that's 80% as good instantly. That was a year ago so god knows how much more powerful the models have gotten by now.

From a childhood MMO I've played for years, Dofus.

Bro you have what's called an ideology. Campaigning against communication not being censored is wild mate, what is wrong with you.

This is beautiful, this will soon mark the end of human deaths in warfare. It's already so politically hard for any government with a semblance of a trust based society to go make their soldiers die for them but if from I believe in the next few year when these can be deployed as platoons for on ground situations like in Iran right now it will be mostly unconstitutional to send human soldiers to die in wars.

Also to keep it to a more grounded topic, reminder that 2.3 billion people on earth face moderate food insecurity and hundreds of million are in crisis level or worse. Industrialization has already freed up most of away from agricultural concerns and the coming waves of agricultural automation will I believe help alleviate global food insecurity.

@Leo Gura Flying cars are out now you can buy one today $200K. Not legal to fly over a city or airspace though

Did you read the article? OpenAI is going public soon so they're not expecting to hold another round of crossover investment. OpenAI is gonna go public right as it gets hit with defence contracts that Anthropic lost so I don't see how this is bearish for them or the AI industry.

According to AI that scenario is possible but less likely than a total war over the middle that lasts years. I hope you're correct but our guy Prof Jiang is much more pessimistic than you are. Next target according to him will be destroying the desalination plants of gulf state countries and leading to a mass chaos across Saudi Arabia and other big cities. Remember Shia muslims are only 10% of muslims 90% are the Sunni their enemies so for them a multi year chaotic war is the goal and prophecy of their religion. -
I mean it's a power law meaning that the more this compounds the more women will drop their standards and date the guys that do go out so it's an equilibrium. I think it's mostly good for all parties involved, dating is gonna become more intentional now. If you want a girlfriend the AI will tell you which venues are most popular and help you debrief your nights out and if you can't be bothered then you'll get a high quality virtual intimacy experience as well. For women that date and just want a companion for their life it's gonna be plenty of dudes available like usual and for the ones that have more refined tastes it's gonna be more of a hunt but I think they still find solid partners that they're into. And being in a cool rich dude's harem is a good choice I think for the right woman that will be a very fun lifestyle. A lot of women are bi remember so being in a polycule would be an optimal scenario for them.

Good update on the ammunition situation in terms of the anti air systems in the gulf states and how they're running out. -
@UnbornTao Humans also struggle to get basic information right and are less prone towards improving. @Leo Gura Young men struggling with dating is not the only nor probably main market for this. Plenty of elderly people are not in relationships and struggle with intimacy. Women are having a huge dating crisis as well. I don't think you should simply judge it as pathetic incels. It's just the road to least resistance. Equally AI can coach you into getting a high quality companion. What percentage of the population do you think has read a dating book in their life today? Why would they get a dating coach, they'll just take the predictable consumer solution to the problem. It's a weird future but it will be personalized so you get to pick what you want. To me I like the harem idea so I will date many women and I mean why not an AI girlfriend on top seems fun. The sky is the limit.

Yes it seems our minds got carried away by a philosophical discussion on the value of AI titties and as you guys can read my position is clear, brother Leo is misguided in undervaluing them but to each their own. I think you're correct that governance and policy is gonna shape this whole issue. They could handle it well and if/when mass layoffs occur have social programs in place to operate a transition or there could be more of a slow standards of living collapse until things a breaking point which historically happens at around 20-30% unemployment rate. @Lazarus93 Once again what do you define as AGI? The era of AI agents majorly changing the economy will happen much before AGI. You can already have claude code work on your pc 24/7 and extract economic value on your behalf and buy a whole server to run 50 different instances of it with different objectives that each learn from eachother. Here's a funny one, how soon til we get the first Robot Police robots patrolling US streets? I predict that will be a huge issue with how sensitive policing is in the US but I mean it does make sense in the end perhaps it will be more reliable than human cops. I think by 2030 they start pilot projects around it in smaller cities and by 2035 it's common.

Not a chance. Crypto is being integrated into the US banking and financial system as we speak and is a big part of how the current administration is working to preserve US global financialization. Clarity Act is gonna pass the US senate at any time now. Stable Coin companies own a massive about of US Treasuries and they are in deep with the administration which just gained control of the federal reserve. Trump is gonna print massive amounts of cash to fund his new war and pump the shit out of crypto to make his family trillionaires. I would absolutely get into the crypto market right now, mark my words and hold me accountable to the price of Bitcoin $73K USD today being way higher 6 months from now September 4th 2026.

I think we've already started going towards post labor economics we just have to define a debate on how quickly it'll affect unemployment rates and if UBI systems will be in place. Alex Karp CEO of Palentir is already talking about nationalization of AI and the Canadian Senate is going over UBI bills right now with Bill S-206 so it is a known issue that's already in process. https://www.reddit.com/r/singularity/comments/1rkavqr/ceo_of_palantir_youre_stupid_if_you_do_not_think/ https://x.com/SulkinMaya/status/2028866859756408867 https://www.parl.ca/legisinfo/en/bill/45-1/s-206

Well yeah you can pretty much guarantee it turns the dating market even more hypergamous and polyamory takes over especially combined with the K shaped recovery that I mentioned in the original post. It's a good thing if you're a motivated man, the average man is doing worse than ever so might as well date many women I agree.
