@tsuki Yeah, the term short-circuiting describes this perfectly, I think. It's time to revise my very first post in this journal: We can surrender with humbleness and bravery! I keep observing myself and I realize in so many occasions how much my subconscious mind was brainwashed in my childhood and through society. I keep observing myself and I realize how brave I can be. I keep observing myself and I realize my infinite potential more and more. I keep observing and I realize that there are more people who are realizing this just like me. I keep observing and I realize that I don’t need to cling to my story or identity. I keep observing and I surrender with humbleness. I keep observing and realize that everything I just wrote above are just words = letters = language constructs = a thought story that is equal to nothingness. I keep observing and I realize just how much I’m still stuck in concepts of “trying to understand”. I keep observing and I realize that there is no infinite potential, but rather orbitals of higher possibilities. I keep observing and I realize that everything I have learned does actually matter! I keep observing and I realize how much our story and identity do actually matter. I keep observing and I realize that if I keep observing I can integrate what I have learned. I keep observing and I realize that I keep observing. The loop closed with some potential to grow bigger, but right now I’m totally confused and exhausted by the massive stillness I confronted. How much further does this rabbit hole go? And then what? (…. totally reorganizing ….)

Thank you @now is forever! Yes, orbitals is a term used in chemistry to display where the chances are highest for electrons to occur around an atomic core. Depending on the number of protons, orbitals have a different shape:

Holy shit - and I thought I was done taming dragons. I thought I was ready to plant some seeds... How could I be so freaking naive? @now is forever Thank you for meeting me in the underworld! So, no - no infinite potentials anymore now. It feels more like orbitals (specific regions of higher potentials). And "blaming" on language contructs or word games doesn't "work" anymore either. I will be diving for a while....

Contemplation takes time... I'm silently observing: Do I let my kids heal my wounds regularly? And I have not come to an answer yet... it's not an easy one to contemplate. In the meantime, let me show you the full drawing that I first used as my profile pic here in the forum. So yes, heavy weights on my shoulders! It can bring us to the next questions: Are self-actualizers self-actualizing because they have "heavy weights" to carry (suffering/trauma)? But not everyone who suffered or experienced trauma ends up self-actualizing - some might also get stuck in some sort of depression or other coping mechanism (e.g. addictions), right? So then, is it only the "smarter" people who self-actualize? Haha, and how can we dare to say that we are smarter than others?

Once detached from outcome, freedom and bliss is discovered. -

One finds more and more peace in silently observing.... -
I know you posted a video about your vision before, but in the context of spiral dynamics it seems a bit outdated these days ?

@tsuki @now is forever I love this! Keep going! Who said this is "my" journal? ? It belongs to everyone who wants to join the conversation. (I don't own anything really. Well, who does actually, right?) I'm digesting all the insights (also the wheel-throwing class!) and will comment more again when I'm ready ? ...

Ahhh, I see - as unconsciously competent master, one may or may not learn to treat the unconscious incompetent as equal? Is that what you mean, Tsuki?
-
Why would we dare to choose to go back to unconscious incompetence?
-
So wait, here are two other diagrams showing the same context:
-
How about intuition? ? And yes, it feels like I know what you are talking about!
-
@tsuki What is your relationship to nihilism and learning? How do you find balance?
-
@tsuki What is the difference between "vague hint" and "believe"? ? Today I realized why it might not be so smart to ask why questions ?

So what will you=I=we choose? -
No worries @now is forever! I'm starting to feel tired from insight-crunching and will also take more breaks from the forum. It's quite addictive to be here, but it's more important to take time to incorporate things we have learned. ??

Feels like two butterflies found each other ? Let's keep brainstorming - I think we can be stronger together, if you want to...

yeah, let's contemplate: How would the world benefit, if everyone transcended their egos? If everyone would be able to let go (or at least be willing to work on) their judgements, arrogant and competitive behaviors? -
In case we=you=I think that my journal is "too good-looking", here is some shadow work for all of us: Could it be true that we want to be seen? Could it be true that we want to pretend to be "as smart as possible"? Could it be true that we feel that it seems impossible to heal our loneliness? Could it be true that we are addicted to come to this forum to crunch insights? Could it be true that we are addicted to learning as substitute for unconditional love that we didn't get when we were young? Could it be true that we fail to live in and really enjoy the present moment when we come here to crunch insights?
-
Will the lonely butterflies .... ... be able to come together and synchronize infinite potentials?

Let's ask ourselves: Would things change if the so-called "enlightened" people treat the "unenlightened" people with less judgmental thoughts and less arrogant behavior? Making this distinction between "enlightened" and "unenlightened" people seems like distinguishing into black and white categories without allowing for any shades of gray in between... -

Are we victims of our egos? -
@now is forever Do you know about the butterfly effect?
-
I'm so glad that I asked you this! You have a wonderful talent to put this into words! I feel very similar and it almost feels like a Déjà-vu or like I already know you, which apparently would hold true if we put it in the I=you=we context. Please keep pointing and explaining - I'm here because I'm willing to let the unknown in and jump the chasm. Can we train our brains into infinite intelligence? We might need quite some patience and figure out a good way to balance thinking/learning and being still in order to not get too exhausted, don't you think?

@Victor Mgazi Yes, exactly – and now we can ask the next questions: Do we/our egos/our thoughts always have the choice to believe in our thoughts? How often do we consciously choose the context we put our thoughts in?
