  1. Leo Gura wrote Practically speaking, devilry and selfishness are universal. So, there is no choice but to accept and plan for them instead of complaining about other people's devilry and selfishness. For example, if you took full responsibility for the survival of your computer, you wouldn't complain about hackers for hacking your computer. You would take steps to secure your computer. Recently, I affirm the following phrase for five minutes a day.
  2. That's an untested assumption. Have you actually done some tests by giving money to people for a long time? What if professional takers extort money from people by utilizing people's inability to escape a certain geographical region? What if illegal immigrants are allowed to live while basic provisions are given only to citizens? Anyway, if we go higher in abstraction, what people need most is freedom from basic survival concerns.
  3. Someday, you will push yourself so hard that you will snap. Some amounts of unscheduled time are going to help you avoid ego backlash. You want to inject some degrees of spontaneity and authenticity into your life.
  4. My original post is not some sort of universal law. It is a strong recommendation based on my intuition. It is not an ideology.
  5. @Preetom It is Leo Gura who wrote most forums users need basic Orange self-help more than they need him. Also, I'm not trying to nag people into doing what I'm doing.
  6. We need more money. Poverty keeps people doing low consciousness stuff.
  7. Emotions often go against long-term ego survival. Laziness leads to job loss which hurts ego a lot.
  8. When you think you are inferior to others, it feels that others think you are a lesser form of life. It is a projection. Others may or may not think you are lesser than they are. Low self-esteem is an illusion constructed by the mind and is a prison you can break out of by recognizing the illusion. You are a super computer. You can do surprisingly a lot if you don't waste your time on bullshits and illusions.
  9. Humanity needs some free money given to them every month. It would lift some of the financial burden off me.
  10. This forum? Not very encouraging. I haven't been working on my life purpose for a while. I miss my life purpose.
  11. Where do you think I can utilize my natural talent?
  12. I thought postmodernism was about deconstruction of ideas. Especially, one's own ideas.
  13. That was not my intention. My intention was to be genuine. Leo Gura and a few others also pissed me off by being genuine. Authenticity pisses people off. To be authentic is to not feign good manner for acceptance and survival(e.g., not getting banned). If I wanted to get banned, I would behave differently than I do now. Leo Gura designed this forum so that people can be genuine here. I'm following through his design. Why would I want to strike a balance between stupidity and naivety? I'm trying to move away from both. Perhaps, I am actually stupid and naive. A man cannot become wise until he explores all his stupid options. Perhaps, I look stupid because I don't try to hide my stupidity. To be genuine is to not hide stupidity from others. I'm not the one who is intelligent. Universal intelligence guides me. An ant is not intelligent. Intelligence is in the design of an ant and an ant colony. In this case, Leo Gura's design guided my behaviors to some degree. You are looking at a human following through the flow of an intelligent design. Also, I thought you were saying how a human is so intelligent that it can convince it is stupid or how god is so intelligent that it can convince it is stupid.
  14. How am I so inteligent? Examples?
  15. The bigger problem right now is that psychedelics are illegal in most regions. There has been war on psychedelics. I'd like to plug a shot of 5-MeO-DMT up my ass someday.
  16. This is not new. Roman empire also hired private militia to aid its military campaigns. It also seemed common for rich people to own private militia centuries ago. Some big medieval guilds also owned private militia. It seems that private militia was more private centuries ago. The modern private militia is often an extension of national army. Was the world more materialistic centuries ago because private militia was owned more privately?
  17. Spirituality Ideology which dictates that everything can be solved by meditation and spirituality. Your hunger cannot be solved by spirituality. Feminism is also an ideology. It states that everything boils down to patriarchy and sexual discrimination and often also states that men should worship and provide for undesirable women while not accepting that many women are simply not desirable enough to lock down desirable men whom women would not want to divorce. Incels state that their problems boil down to women's selfishness and women's unwillingness to have sex with undesirable men. MGTOW states that most problems men have boil down to women's selfishness. They blame women for taking the necessary half from men while they do very little to become hot and thus keep women in marriage. I'm not saying men should give the necessary half just because they are ugly and undesirable. Everyone should protect their boundaries in order to survive and reproduce. Survival is one's responsibility. Blaming other people for harming your survival is not going to fly in the long run. Germans blamed most of their problems on greedy jews. To an ideologue, everything looks like a nail that a hammer can bang. To a navy seal, everything looks like a target. Perhaps, an ideologue projects the qualities of a nail onto other people because it is a nail. Ideologues keep complaining in their ideological comfort zones and refuse to go and think beyond their comfort zones. If they stopped complaining about other people's selfishness, went to gyms, became hot, and made money, then they would look at the world from different perspectives. Germans wouldn't have blamed jews for their poverty if they took responsibility for their results. It's time to accept selfishness as selfishness is universal. A person who goes beyond one's comfort zones, takes responsibility for one's own results, and is ahead of most of the population has little reason to be ideological. Ideology gives people false hope.
  18. If you are low on money, you can save travel expenses and spend more money on psychedelics.
  19. Will power breaks easily. Will power is necessary but not sufficient. Making yourself naturally want to savor being and work deeply can take 10 years or more. You won't be able to build yourself hard for 10 years without a proper infrastructure that protects you from temptations. In summary, you want to utilize mini nootropic effects and alternate between being and business in order to minimize resistance. Establish a morning routine in order to bootstrap your momentum everyday Utilize natural mini nootropic effects where you can Take 5 minute break after working for 25 minutes. Set a 25-minute countdown timer whenever you start working. Sprinkle exercise and chores(e.g., washing dishes) between difficult tasks. You can do exercise and chores during breaks. Drink water during breaks. Rearrange your morning routine in order to minimize ego backlash. Visualizing for 10 minutes after meditating for one hour is difficult because meditating for one hour can lead to ego backlash and because your body needs some exercise after doing nothing for one hour. Meditating for one hour after visualizing for 10 minutes and then doing some chores(e.g., washing dishes) is a lot easier. Thus, the following sequence minimizes ego basklash. 10-minute visualization -> exercise & some chores -> 1-hour meditation -> exercise & some chores -> business(making yourself busy feels refreshing after doing nothing for a while.) My productivity formula Savor being for a bit -> a little bit of business -> Savor being for more time -> a little bit of mini nootropic effect & some business -> get back to business -> break -> business -> savor being -> chores -> business -> being -> ... Don't try to force yourself to do a lot of tasks. Focus on winning at the moment. Making yourself do this one task now is a lot easier and a lot less daunting than winning a day. Accept that you will need some will power until death. Accept that there is no escape from will power. Surrender. Stop complaining about how you lack will power or why you still have resistance.
  20. Waking up when there is no light is not easy. Should I buy a light alarm that turns on when it's time to wake up? Or, is it possible to train myself to wake up readily to alarm sound when there is no light?
  21. What is difference between mind-body and body-mind?
  22. Can you give us a summary if you read literature on IQ?
  23. I never thought jordan peterson was going to be practical in my personal life. Since he talks a lot with constant tones, I can play a few of his videos simultaneously to test whether certain audio softwares respond correctly to sound input. Dynamic sound makes it hard to diagnose audio errors. His videos make it easy to detect errors in audio softwares. He helps me configure audio softwares on my computer. Don't judge jordan peterson purely by the contents of his talks. You can also judge his videos in terms of audio quality. The lesson is that you can find utility and other purposes in most things. You can look at things from infinitely many unexpected perspectives. Realize that there are infinitely many aspects of something. It's beautiful.
  24. Did high IQ help with overcoming laziness? Are you any more successful with studying or career than people of average IQ? Where do you feel your advantages? Does high IQ tie into actual intelligence?
  25. Let me motivate you. Overcoming resistance is a form of spirituality. It is also a form of meditation. Whenever you find yourself distracted or procrastinating, gently bring you focus back to what you can be doing. It is a form of meditation. This is efficient because you can meditate and work at the same time in this way.
