  1. Thanks guys you opened my eyes, It's transformation. In the past we didn't know better but now it's different. There are societies that are vegans and well. Hunting animals for the kick of it doesn't sound too good. But the main problem is meat industry. Imagine being a cow forced into one of those narrow pathway were she can't turn around, knowing she's going to die, the stench of death, she panicks tries to turn around but can't so she refuses to walk so she's tazed and beaten and forced to advance to her death. If you only could realize what it means to go through such experience you would understand why I'm talking about hell on earth. It's utter madness that we created in this universe.
  2. I addressed your point in my previous reply but you ignored it. In case you didn't see it I'll quote it for you : The point is how far do you want to push the conversation and step in someone's life if that person doesn't want to be bothered by this story ? On a more meta perspective the system will adjust itself, if covid is such a threat then it will come into people's experience and they will naturally study the solutions. If it doesn't come in their experience then it didn't matter in the first place whether they got vaccinated or not.
  3. You're like nice guys, you want to out debate another human being into doing what you want or what you think is right. And the more he doesn't care the more you dive into mental constructs and extrapolations. Interestingly I didn't see you do that to Leo Gura who chickened out of the vaccine in this very thread, which would tend to show a somewhat of a power dynamic at play, namely you don't dare to do to Leo what you're doing to Mannyb.
  4. It's a good opportunity to hop into monkhood. Because what are the possible outcomes of a relationship ? Either you break up like you just did but then what's the point of pursuing more, either you marry and you die together as in your souls fuse and leave at the same time, because if you live as two individual and you die years appart then there is no real difference as if you lived alone is there ? But how do you fuse together it doesn't seem an easy thing, you both have to want it absolutely. It then appears that the clearest and most certain path is monkhood, you pursue your own liberation and there are no shenanigans.
  5. It's not necessarily a bad argument from an individual perspective. He doesn't know anyone with malaria, it doesn't concern him much then who would you be to step in his life, talk about it a lot and push him to make malaria a big thing in his life ?
  6. To me Leo is a fellow seeker not a teacher. And his youtube videos are mostly rambling I've not watched them for years now, everytime I open one to see if there's something new or interesting I close it fast because it's just rambling of the mind. The real value he offers are the experiments he runs on himself, the trip reports, the protocols he comes up with, his blog videos where he talks about himself or his trips. I'd say his blog is of much greater value than his youtube channel. As the forum I hang here because of the people he managed to gather a community around this angle of attack on consciousness, reality, existence etc.
  7. She's quite good looking and joyful for eating one banana a day and being homeless for years, she's very impressive. And at the end she's even helping rich working suicidal people !
  8. Those are full fledged yogic Kriyas. It's like breath like that for x minutes, then chant this y times, then do this breathing technique etc. It's quite holistic if you think about it. Because of the pandemic they are even doing initiations online so you won't have to even travel to an initiation event, you can give it a try : https://www.innerengineering.com/ A free example is this : they have processes depending on what you need basically
  9. @kieranperez all the points you're bringing have all already been brought in posts about veganism it's always the same that come back. In essence you're justifying meat eating by shrugging saying that predators and preys are anyway the essence of life, that vegans are predators also and anyway they have bad eating habits so we may as well keep the hell on earth that meat industry is up and running. When you eat meat the animals already ate tons of vegetable so you're multiplying the suffering of the vegetables when you don't eat them directly. Vegans may not be perfect, they may eat fast food as you say but they wouldn't argue against actions to make things better. If someone had offered steps to get better they would accept it. Nobody wants to starve anybody, it's about being sensible and reducing overall suffering for a more harmonious society. Have you watched at least one documentary on meat industry ? Dominion is a good one : If you argue in favor of that that's fine just don't pretend that you want to help other people or the world or something to that extent.
  10. It's recommended to kill the virus from circulating basically according to pro-vaxxers. Apparently it worked in Israel they vaccinated everyone and the number of active cases is down to ~1K starting from ~80K during the vaccination campaign. In the UK it went from 2M during vaccination campaign to 60K today.
  11. Just keep your focus on the relevant material. Are you the one who decide what you think about or not ? Also thinking of "ways to keep focus" are already parasite thoughts that take you away from the subject.
  12. Maybe the lack of heart perspective comes because vegan people often talk aggressively like activists as if they were trying to display their moral high ground rather than expressing themselves from the heart.
  13. He has some paid programs and books where he teaches some techniques. You can find free material too on his channel. His ultimate answer however is that the only way out is in.
  14. https://www.forbes.com/sites/melissaholzberg/2021/05/03/bill-and-melinda-gates-announce-divorce/ After watching their documentary on Netflix I was quite impressed by their marriage only for them to divorce one year later. They do it in a respectful manner however which is good.
  15. It's more that the Vedanta are scriptures and you can't realize Maya by studying scriptures. The joke he makes about Maya isn't about mockery, it's his way to get an understanding across to the listeners, it's his style and he always does that. As for Osho he is a beautiful poetic talker and writer. His style however could not have the same pragmatic impact as Sadhguru who delivered spirituality to hundred of millions people plus his social outreaching projects (rally for rivers, project green hands, rural schooling etc). Osho's movement was charged with bioterrorism there is a documentary on it on netflix I believe. Bonus : That said I understand why some would prefer Osho's style, relational drama was loved in his commune whereas in Sadhguru's ashram it's pushed down.
  16. Sadhguru's point here is not the ultimate answer to Maya but answering to the individual that he shouldn't talk about Maya at this stage because a few lashes and he will suffer so it's self delusion for him to talk about this when experientially it's not true for him. You're a fool to think he's making a mockery of Vedanta because he thinks it's a joke.
  17. @Javfly33 You may be right, if there was such thing as permanent enlightenment we wouldn't be here talking in this creation, the singularity would have already collapsed into eternally still emptiness. There may be an experience of permanent enlightenment but it's not "actually" permanent. Because if someone attained to permanent enlightenment how the rest of the creation can still exist if it's all one ? Individualities can pop but the existence is bubbling new ones constantly and the permanent enlightenment I'm referring to is about the existence not the individualities.
  18. Psychedelics can help you a little, LSD unlocked the situation for me a bit just don't overdo it and don't make the mistake you can reach permanent enlightenment through them. They can unlock your situation but if you overdo it they can also make you "far gone". I think you have enough clarity to realize that, just like you realized that despite all the promises actualized.org didn't really help you to get ahead in life. What you need is either a job or to resume your studies. If you can't make it without psychedelics then try them, but once you get there stop taking them and try to grow from there. Good luck!
  19. Plants are aware yes, and they suffer existentially when they're killed.
  20. I'm ordering some sencha, we'll see. Thanks for the suggestion.
  21. @onacloudynight you may also subscribe to Sadhguru exclusive, they made a documentary about how his wife Viji left her body during a group meditation after having followed a certain Sadhana. Another thing Sadhguru said is that when you die you have to basically die by choice 2 minutes before you would have died naturally. The idea is that you have to die as willingly and consciously as possible.
  22. @onacloudynight Please before reading further take a moment to stop everything you're doing and focus on now, what is there now in your direct existential experience ? Death happens now, in this moment. When you die it happens now. Precisely the same now that you just put your focus on. What happens when you die ? It depends on your seeking state or you may call it consciousness. I remember few of my past deaths, the experience was not always the same, one death I was dying (at the awareness level, past leaving the body) I had this crushing sense that I didn't make it, a tremendous sense of a wasted life as I was losing everything I kept thinking (not thought really but direct understanding and experience) the equivalent of "I have to remember this, I have to remember this" so at least I don't make the same mistake further down my thread. I knew I couldn't remember it because I couldn't hold onto anything, yet I'm here speaking about it so you can remember it after all... still I don't know what to do in this life even with that memory :'D Anyway as Sadhguru put it beautifully, when you die either you sit on the throne of enlightenment either you don't
  23. You're stating that the orders of magnitude increase of image capturing devices number and resolution over the decades should make no difference in the resolution of the UFOs whatsoever, nor should it open opportunities for meta analysis to make statistical inferences about their origins and characteristics. I don't need to debate that any further. As for the photoshop it's not even a point, let them release and people will run forensics and statistics on them. It's interesting that from some blurry image you infer that it's an alien ship flying around with a high enough degree of confidence as to qualify skeptics as dense, theorize with a conspiracy mindset that all the evidences are being classified top secret and locked in vault but about other matters you complain that conspiracy theorists are low in the spiral dynamic. For years I'm trying to see how the wisdom and intelligence from your high consciousness experiences percolate through your sober self but so far I can't pinpoint too much elevation.
  24. You gave him hatred you mean you said something to him or just your behavioral reaction ? In any case it's not a big deal it was just a kid's tantrum this shouldn't have far reaching impact.
  25. You call that argument dumb ? Dumb is what comes to mind when I read your reply. It's not only about the smartphones it's about all the image capture equipment, smartphones, cameras, telescopes civil, professional, military and their sheer number. People, pilots have been reporting closeups with UFOs, if such was the case we would be noticing a trend in the quality of UFOs pictures, one way or another. That's the meaning of the left picture.
