  1. Exactly!!! hehehehe... an additive could be breathing some cannabis with a hookah...
  2. Thanks Shin for sharing, I will try it. I always knew this but somehow I was too lazy to do it everyday. That needs to change.
  3. I think I won't be eating anymore, my diet from now on will be prana from the air.
  4. I need to go to that dimension! ASAP!
  5. @Pouya It is called mahasamadhi https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahasamādhi
  6. Great video! Thanks for sharing! @Tetcher I think the priest looked really healthy, it would be good to know what the doctors say about the cause of death. It's funny how people are trying to reanimate him. Probably he will be looking at them from heaven and thinking, "I don't want to go back there again!!!" Lol...
  7. Yes, I agree with that. Probably our concept of self is not adequate to describe it but in my book is a self, our true self. And about the insight I mentioned, I knew long time ago it was like that but intellectually, now it was more like a knowing. Like a thought (but it was not a thought) that confirmed that what I suspected about that it was true, and made me feel more "liberated". And about the insight of evolution, that is great too... consciousness is constantly evolving, or so it seems from our POV. :-)
  8. @Key Elements Yes, I was more talking from the POV of the ego. The ego will never understand reality. But our true nature yes. And about the life purpose, today I had an insight of something I already knew. It was that if really there's no purpose in life, the only purpose is just to be. The ego get depressed when it understand that, but our true nature feels free, free to develop any purpose he/she wants. Today I felt free really to realize and do my true purpose, that I create it but I do it because that's how life works, not because I want something out of it.
  9. So true. I am always thinking on having an experience which will help me understand more the nature of reality, and that will never happen really.
  10. Go far away and then come back.
  11. That's a very valuable POV. I agree with what you say Mandy. Good point and thanks for sharing it. I am always trying to have another mystical experience and you made me remember that this is not about that kind of experiences. We need to let them go.
  12. While searching I found this article https://qz.com/1196408/scientists-studying-psilocybin-accidentally-proved-the-self-is-an-illusion/
  13. @Natasha I think so, because the shrooms they use for consciousness work have psilocybin which is the ingredient that can make you have mystic experiences. The problem is that people in my country just use it to be high, not so much for spiritual purposes. I really didn't know a lot about them until I learned about them here.
  14. I didn't have idea about the berries definition @Natasha very interesting. In my native country there's a lot of poppy plants, I never tried them. In Spanish their name is Amapolas. Now I want to try them lol.... There's also the "Psilocybe cubensis is a species of psychedelic mushroom whose principal active compounds are psilocybin and psilocin" (wikipedia), its popular name is "Cucumelo" and it grows in Uruguay and Argentina and probably in Brasil too.
  15. Lol
  16. No, we only follow Gurus who confirm our preconceived biases.
  17. @Anton_Pierre When I went to a local church some years ago and I talked to them about the epiphany I had, they looked at me as if I was crazy. They have no idea about truth. It's sad... No one talked to me about how to rationalize what was happening, nothing... finally I ended in a mental hospital and there I realized churches were not the place for me.
  18. @zeroISinfinity Thanks Zero! I am going to write about it in my journal, I don't want to derail this thread. But is amazing how everything changes when the I is not there anymore, or at least when you can see things from a universal perspective, not so much from the narrow POV of the ego. I know I'm not still completely there, but I think I am on the correct path thanks to all of you in this forum. Leo and everybody.
