  1. On a second thought, maybe doing what Leo is doing. Create a youtube channel, upload some art techniques and advices, and then you can offer a premium service with more stuff for amateur artists who want to improve their skills.
  2. I'm an illustrator too @Pere but I am actually working more on graphic design. I want to move to do more illustrator work, comics, cartoons and maybe animation (2D). I am in the same situation like you, the only difference is I am much older hehehe... and I was drawing more like a hobby, so it took me longer to develop my style but finally I think I'm close to have a professional style. I really can't give you advice because I have no idea about the "artsy" market, I am more into the commercial stuff. Didn't you thought about the illustration market for magazines, advertising agencies, etc??? There's good money there, cover book design too.
  3. I think that's (at the moment) the only way to be actualized, it's like Morpheus taking out Neo from the matrix, he had to use the way he understood to get him out of it. And I think the way you say one can get actualized or aware is correct. Everyone is doing it from the mind-identified state, but if one continues doing it naturally at certain point you will be enlightened or aware or actualized. Not sure if I am correct, but that's my opinion at this moment.
  4. I like Jim Carrey, I was surprised to know about his awakening. http://in5d.com/jim-carrey-explains-his-spiritual-awakening/
  5. I think @Avi explanation should be framed and hanged in a place where everyone can see it, and read every day first thing in the morning.
  6. Rating : 10 :-)
  7. @tropicana your welcome. With practice you will become more detached. It's beginning to happen to me. When I have a thought or a feeling of anger, whatever I just pay attention to it but I know it's not me, so I don't do anything. You will feel more in peace and control (even if control is really an illusion) but you will feel that you can react differently, more mature to call it some way. And you will feel more calm, you will be controlling your thoughts and emotions instead of them controlling you. :-)
  8. I think that it depends of the meaning we give to the word "let go". I think what Leo was trying to say is don't pay attention to them. Just be the observer, understand there's a thought, that is not you and don't react. That's what I am trying to do. :-P
  9. I can't multitask. I really need to focus on one thing and do it, then the next one and so on. I think that focusing on one thing at a time is more productive. Why don't you try both? Take the time it takes you to do them altogether and how much does it take to do them separated? And then compare, which one of both methods is better for understanding the idea. Because what is the benefit of doing two things at the same time if one of them will suffer, you will miss some information at some points, for sure. Unless one of the tasks is not so important to you and you can watch it without paying much attention to it. My two cents. :-)
  10. The thing that I liked about Leo is that he's very direct and he goes straight to the point. Thanks again for this forum, Leo! Keep up the good work!!!!
  11. Good to know it works for you.
  12. Very enlightening @DanoDMano Cool.
  13. I think she's cute Anyway, I checked her video for spiritual enlightenment and I think it's not bad.
  14. @OWL I hope the red pill work fast, because I'm beginning to get a bit nervous... hehehehe...
  15. Very deep indeed. I must say that I agree with you, at least at this moment.
  16. Learning that we have no purpose in life helped me to do whatever I want to do. I see it like if we were a blank paper where you can do whatever you imagine. And then, if you are not happy with what you just achieve, you can change!!! hehehehe.... Try to do whatever you enjoy, there must be something you enjoy. Make that your purpose in life. :-)
  17. @Khin Thank you very much, I didn't understand it that way. Very clarifying, cool.
  18. Christ when he said we must learn to love even our enemies seemed so powerful to me... Now I have a better understanding of it :-) "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same." Jesus
  19. @Spacious I am practicing to be a comedian, I hope to get better with time. Anyway, there are successful comedians that are as bad as me hahahaha
  20. When other people come to lurk here at the forum to see what we are talking about, they must be thinking, those are just a bunch of nuts!
  21. @OceanJjb that means we are wiser hehehehe
