  1. I would add this John 14:12 "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father."
  2. You have to do what you have to do Truthseeker! or Illusionseeker! Just good luck with whatever you do and I hope someday you will come back to the forum or to the path of search of your true self. I think what you are wrong is saying we don't exists. What it doesn't exists is your ego. You have a real self that if you get in touch with it you can accomplish your wildest dreams.
  3. Awesome pics and @rcuch Nice thoughts too. Truth is not horrifying IMO, what is horrifying is the lie we have made to protect our egos.
  4. We need to conceptualize things, that's why we label this good and this evil. IMO we can't see clearly that's why we do "evil" things. We are all part of everything, if you know that everyone is your same essence, that we all are manifestation of God, do you think you will kill someone because he thinks differently? We do it, because we see ourselves as separated from god and from our neighbors. That's the illusion. I think evil is not to be open to the truth and believing in lies. My two cents.
  5. That's the tricky part hahaha... thanks @Natasha
  6. Thanks @Natasha and @Matej really helpful advices, I will do that!!! I am also feeling more confident through meditation. Thanks guys!!!
  7. @WickedIrish WOW... thanks! Really helpful. I am thinking about having that focus on the search of enlightenment, once I reach that point (I hope I do) I will stop trying to look for explanations. It's simple and hard Lol
  8. That's exactly why I'm doing it too @DizIzMikey My feelings are different, but I have tremendous curiosity. I know who we are, but I don't know how do we feel it when you are enlightened.
  9. My first thought is that we are here to learn, but then when I think more about it I ask to myself. Why God will do something like that if he already knows everything? A bit confusing.
  10. Thanks @werlight for the hint, I don't know yet but I think I understand where are you going... very insightful. Thanks again!
  11. What is that reason? I still have a hard time figuring that out.
  12. Graphic and web Designer here. Also comic creator and illustrator.
  13. Meditation helps a lot in keeping focused , the one that helped me a lot in that was mindful meditation, you can find them searching on Leo's Videos. What Truth said is correct, I am using the pomodoro technique https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pomodoro_Technique Study 25 minutes then break 5 minutes, after 3 or 4 short breaks, take a longer one like 10 or 15 minutes. It helped me to keep focused, a lot.
  14. I think the main problem is the ego that gets bored, right? I heard someone saying that at this point you have to let the ego get so bored that he will leave you alone. ?
  15. I have the same problem @AndreeaM what it helped me a lot to stop the monkey mind was the mindful meditation. In fact, any meditation helps to stop the thinking habit. Check the Leo video "mindful meditation". Now I am almost not thinking compared to when I began to see self-help videos.
  16. I'm married The great thing about marriage IMO is kids. I had some differences with my wife, but I learnt a lot leading with our problems and now I know she's the woman I want to be with, but if things goes bad we continue our own path. I really have to say that she was very supportive in moments I was very bad (depression).
  17. My question basically is how do we know that what we are perceiving when we are enlightened is the truth and not another construct of our mind?
  18. @TruthSeeker @mgi0077 Every master/teacher says that when you have that experience you will now, no doubts.
  19. Thanks @Water I'm watching him on TED talks now. https://www.ted.com/talks/richard_feynman
  20. @Toasty , think about were do you get your opinions. Are they really yours or do you get them from people you talk, your mother, your experiences with the world... is it you? What are your opinions? Your identification with the body, your thoughts, your mind, is that you? Or there's something more? Are you just a collection of ideas taken from others or experiences, is that what define your real self? or is something we think is us?
  21. @WickedIrish We are asking because we are tired of pleasing the ego. Because when you please the ego, then the ego goes... "bah!... is that it?" "I want more"... our "fake" self is never pleased. So we know that the search will end when we find our higher self, the "I AM"
  22. We always say to ourselves that we need to find our true self, and that the search of the human race is to find themselves, etc. And now I realize there's no self. So, there's nothing to look for. I stopped searching.
  23. hehehe... thanks guys. It's true, we have to find it. It's there.
  24. It's weird, cause I realized that by stoping searching more things are happening to me. I feel guided by my "I AM" and everything I see, every person I met, seems to me like they are giving me a lesson and he is speaking to me guiding me on the path. I know it sounds very "mystic" but maybe that's my way. I like it.
