When you are curious and you get into the domain of self actualization, you will find a lot of fears. Fears of getting insane can happen, but it won't. Just acknowledge that as just a thought and it won't happen. You should read something about the nature of the thoughts and ego. I can imagine you already did that, right? The power of now by Ekhart Tolle is a good read to start.

Oh my goodness! Thank you very much. Your words are so important to me. Today I woke up and I had that feeling that I am going crazy, now I know it is just a thought. It has no power, but I still feel fear. When I am sleeping I feel like if someone is programming my brain while sleeping.

Can you find out? Do you think thoughts are yours for sure? Sometimes I have crazy ideas that it doesn't seem to be mine, but maybe I am wrong.

@Neo I liked Eckhart Tolle The Power of Now, it is good if you are beginning to get into all new concepts. It clarified me a lot of things that happened to me and I didn't have idea what was it all about. hehehehe... I am walking the path since I was a kid without knowing it. Tolle helped me to stand on my own feet, now I am reading Mc Kenna. Everything has its purpose. -

Yes @Water I had a nightmare in which I was without any identity. I didn’t have past, no future, no history and everything was completely black. There was nothing there but me. It happened not the whole dream, it wasn’t long, otherwise I would have died of a heart attack because it was so real for me. It happened at the moment I was about to get up, when I get up I never was so scared like that moment. I couldn’t think well. I forgot a lot of things, my wife called me a taxi and I decided to go to the hospital to see my psychiatrist (I was diagnosed with depression). And I was afraid of forgetting where I was going. I was in shock. At that time I didn’t know anything about meditation, or buddhism or anything. And it is now that knowing about others experiences that I understand that I was nothingness at that moment, but my mind wasn’t prepared for that. I will post about it on the journal section of the forum, probably this weekend.

That's really good @Pinocchio I am reading Spiritual Enlightenment: Damnest Thing by Jed Mc Kenna too. I have to add that one to my "to read" list.
