  1. I think that's what Leo talks about. Why you ask?
  2. Ok.... wait I think suffering can help, as a way to scape to the idea that we are suffering, If we had some religious or spiritual background. If there's not that background in your family or in yourself. (Or you weren't interested in spirituality) then you can stay in a loop, that can make you think the only scape is suicide... or can give you a chronic depression, or other symptoms, who knows? Is it better now?

  4. I don't think so, he is only playing "hard to get"
  5. This video I think can be of help, someone posted it in other section of the forum
  6. For what he is saying in that interview I think he's in a good path. Who can we know how developed is him? I think he's pretty good, at least much more than most of the people.
  7. I think I know what is happening to you @Paul92 I know because it happened to me too, but I wasn't suicidal. I just got a big depression and some psychotic episodes. Same thing happened to me, I think. You are trying to find the solution to what you find out in non duality with the mind. The mind doesn't understand reality. That's why when we try to explain we use WORDS, that are only pointers, not the real thing. You want something from the "outside" who can explain you why reality is the way it is, why there's no purpose, why we are all one, etc. That's your problem, ILLUSION is just a word. It can't explain what reality is. It's a pointer. Illusion means that reality is not what we think it is. That there's something more besides this "real" world. But you cannot get attached to that meaning because it is not true. It will never explain completely reality. That's why Huang Po said "Don't underestimate the reality of the illusion". What does that mean? Is it a reality or is it a illusion? It's none of them! Because there's no words to explain what reality is. Don't search that path. It will bring destruction to you and to those that you love. Because even to say that the ego doesn't exist is also not completely true. You were saying that the ego has to be killed. A lot of master taught that, even Jesus said "deny yourself". That's one way to say it, there are other masters that said that you have to INTEGRATE the ego. You have to love your ego. Don't get attached to ideas, because the idea that you have about reality that is making you feel so bad is also wrong. It's an idea, and are you going to leave this life because of a wrong idea? Remember the experiences are real, everything that you experience is true, and while you are here in this planet/life/universe you are helping all that collective consciousness to grow and to learn from experience. Hope this helps, follow the middle path, as Buddha used to teach. Don't go to extremes. Blessings!
  8. Maybe a video of Rupert Spira helps? https://youtu.be/7O937dHmNxE
  9. In reality we all have our beliefs and stuff. Because what "IS" can't be named. We can put a name to it, but it will be always a representation an idea, a belief. I listened some time ago to a teacher in youtube, his name is Alon Geva. He said that there are thoughts that are closer to the source. Those thoughts can bring liberation, and there are thoughts that are not so close, those are the thoughts that make us not to recognize our true nature. But everything we can do is think about what is. We will never grasp what is with our intellect.
  10. I have to post that in my journal. My problem was that I was so attached to the materialist paradigm and about having an "independent" soul. The idea of separation was too strong, and still is... and I think is what is blocking me now. But, that's for another thread. Lol... Long story. Thanks @Anna1 for listening (or reading :-P )
  11. Yeah, everyone is different. In my case I was so wrong about everything that I needed a shock to bring me back to truth.
  12. I did it and it works, but the problem is you have to do that every time that a quote gets in your post. I think what you suggested is a better your solution.
  13. I'll do that @Anna1 @Preetom The first time I saw the "void" I was so scared that the word fear doesn't describe well what I felt. I was not prepared at all... Now I want to experience that again, and be calm and quiet... I know there's bliss after that.
  14. Anna, what I do is I quote what I want to quote and I delete the part I don't want to answer in that quote. Then I quote again, and I delete the other part Lol... and I leave the part I want for the second quote. I don't know if that's what you want to do...
  15. I really don't like to get into this kind of discussions because no one arrives to nothing. But it makes me sad to see how many people the traditional Church is making them believe that because you say some magical words and you just believe in something silly you are saved. That's false. But... what can we do? Sometimes I just know they will reject the true, because is easier to believe in fairy tales and fantasies rather than seeing truth with their own eyes and not through the crazy interpretation that the Christian Churches had done to truth. Crazy and sad indeed.
  16. That's the problem! You "think" you are converted, but you are not. Denying yourself is much more deep than just "accepting Jesus" like Churches suggest, they are deluded too. I didn't say that. Who said that?
