  1. Y’all I’m takin my first trip soon (2 grams of mushrooms) and I just wanna document it. I’ll update this after I do it! prior experience: large doses of marijuana. Edibles, bongs, dabs. Have gotten intense visuals. Particles, ground morphing and looking like water while walking. It seemed psychedelic but I can’t say for sure as i haven’t done true psychedelics. Set: feeling the best I have in my life. Want to work on myself. Been on the spiritual path un-aided by psyches for a few years. Well researched on nonduality, have had several natural awakenings. Also have extensive research on the substance, dosage, what go except, what could go wrong. Also have a trip sitter. Also have a positive mindset that I’ll just hold onto the shrooms until im ready, there’s no rush setting: my cousins house. Safe person to be with, approves fully of psychedelics so no judgement. No foreseeable issues there.
  2. I think that, after becoming conscious you are god, there is another, absolutel level of no self. I think this is what the Buddha called Nirvana.
  3. Ladies and gentlemen, Hong Xiuquan http://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Hong_Xiuquan
  4. does anyone have experience chewing salvia? I want to experience what this entheogen has to offer but I want to do it the traditional way
  5. But it is still absolutely infinite, because it’s everything than CAN exist
  6. Here’s something to contemplate. can we prove causality? not without memory can we prove memory? no. Memory is an appearance occurring right now. what if everything you thought you knew was just an appearance occurring right now, the entire idea of a causal chain leading from your birth to death being a hallucination occuring right now?
  7. @Preetom yea you gotta not be dependent on anything to be at peace sounds damn near impossible, but i'll keep trying until something cracks
  8. yes. it's not about knowing something new but knowing that you already know, or dissolving what thinks it doesn't know
  9. @Leo Gura what about the distinction between different types of sensation? vision vs. touch for example
  10. That’s exactly how it is for me, hehe. God is pulling you down and ripping you out of your old skin.
  11. You can prepare the land. You can plant and water the seeds. But you cannot grow the crop.
  12. I feel like I’m falling, being dragged into the void by the hand of god, or the gravity of a black hole.
  13. I am wondering who has awoken and dissolved the narrator.
  14. @Aakash enlightenment is life affirming, and good for everyone. what's this "unreal" businesss? life is more real, because concepts aren't in the way anymore. this judgmental word "problem" may not be valid, but suffering certainly exists, and I prefer not suffering, so am still inclined towards solving what you consider illusory problems
  15. Attain perfect and complete enlightenment as quickly as is reasonably possible, for my own benefit and the benefit of all beings. and keep my personal life together better than I did this last year during the inevitable future dark nights I’ll go through oh and drink my green juice everyday
  16. It’s real. you can use it to move physical objects if you join certain psionics groups. i mean I obviously can’t prove that those things really happen cause I haven’t joined one of those groups. Buuut..... they exist, and that should indicate something is happening. And ive seen YouTube videos that seem pretty convincing another power people claim to attain by tapping into chi is the power to live without food. Now that would be very nice I have to say, haha. Obesity and starvation solved simulateously. on the wilder end (because telekinesis and inedia seem pretty normal to me, lol) you have gurus like shirdi sai baba who were said to manifest objects like double rudrakshas [a la the holographic universe] out of thin air. Now this is the point where even someone like me begins to question things. Very very interesting regardless!
  17. If you’re prior to the universe than what’s prior to you? answer: the universe. whaaa
  18. @Sunil Kumar you’re assuming there are other aware beings out there, but you don’t know that. in the context of practice you should be as ruthlessly skeptical as possible. zero in on what’s actual, and ignore everything else Do you remember how Leo said your mind will get distracted while doing self enquiry? Well, any sort of philosophical speculation is actually a distraction. Off the cushion it is important to have intellectual understanding of these things, but when doing practice you really need to work looking at only what’s right in front of you
  19. make “what is the purpose of doing anything?” A contemplation question. write it down at the top of a piece of paper, and begin thinking about. hint: you might begin to uncreate this idea of a “doer” seeking enlightenment might very well deepen your existential crisis at first. But it’s a long term solution to it. Also you could start paying attention to your actions and see if you can clearly identify a doer in them Now, at a more practical level. I could answer “what’s the purpose of doing anything?” With another question: “what’s the purpose of not doing anything?” See?
