There is only now. Realty is instantaneously simultaneously created and destroyed. So you now looking at a photo, is you creating/imagining that there is a past and the photo is of the past, only it is being created now within consciousness, as all there is is the consciousness of now. All thoughts, feelings memories and the images of the 'physical' world can only occur now, and nothing at all exists outside of now, however unbelievable that may seem. -

Everything is consciousness. Dreams are a state of consciousness. -

US intelligence officials have warned that last Wednesday’s attack on the US Capitol by supporters of President Trump will likely motivate additional follow-up attacks by extremists throughout 2021, according to an intelligence bulletin dated Wednesday and obtained by CNN. Warning that the people who attacked the Capitol largely viewed their efforts as a success, the FBI, Department of Homeland Security, and Office of the Director of National Intelligence said the attack “very likely will serve as a significant driver of violence” for a diverse set of domestic extremists, according to the bulletin. The bulletin added follows reporting this week that extremists were emboldened by the attack and that “chatter is off the charts right now," the bulletin said. “The violent breach of the US Capitol Building is very likely part of an ongoing trend in which [extremists] exploit lawful protests, rallies, and demonstrations, and other gatherings to carry out ideologically-motivated violence and criminal activity,” the intelligence bulletin warned. The range of potential future targets of attack was varied, with intelligence officials warning in the bulletin that extremists could zero in on government officials and institutions, as well as racial and religious minorities, journalists, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. The bulletin also indicated that the Jan. 6 attack may have served as a venue for extremists of differing ideological motivations to foster connections. In addition to the perceived success of the Jan. 6 Capitol attack, intelligence officials warned that the response by law enforcement could also motivate extremists to respond with violence, including at the upcoming Jan. 20 inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden. “Since the [Capitol attack], violent online rhetoric regarding the [inauguration] has increased, with some calling for unspecified ‘justice’” for a rioter shot by police inside the Capitol, the bulletin said. -

House Majority Whip James Clyburn, "there's a good chance that there will be a conviction in the Senate" of President Trump after he was impeached for the second time in the House. "I think that Mitch McConnell and a few others recognize that that's the quickest way to get him out of their hair so-to-speak," said Clyburn. "I think there will be enough on the record and so, he could very well get a conviction." On the timing of the impeachment trial, the Democratic lawmaker said that he wouldn't want to see the proceedings interfere with President-elect Joe Biden's first 100 days in office. "I do really feel that we ought to do what's necessary for this man not to ever run again," Clyburn said. "But we need to do what is necessary for people's lives to get this stored as soon as possible. I wouldn't want to see an impeachment trial postponed that for too long." -

@GreenDragon You are on a Nonduality forum. That's like going to a NFL forum and be like "Damn guys, it's weird you guys talk about sports so much". -

@The Don No, will not agree, like at all. Society needs checks in place or some people will not stop till it's all destroyed. Some people just want to watch the world burn. Just like we stop criminals and murders from harming other people in society, Trump needed to be stopped from trying to literally stop democracy and destroy this country. Speech that kills, is unacceptable. Period. -

I think you're underestimating the crazy here. You're making assumptions that they're people that are thinking clear enough to understand any consequences. We are going off their own words and threats. They want war and are ready to die for their beliefs. It's not us wishing it goes this way, it's simply reading the facts out there. Guess we'll see for sure what happens in a few day, but seems clear to me what is going to happen. -

One of the insurrectionists at the U.S. Capitol that was arrested just committed suicide by gun. This is a full blown cult, and this is cult behavior. They are willing to give their life for Trump. Hence why inauguration day is going to be a bloodbath. https://www.ajc.com/news/georgia-man-arrested-following-capitol-insurrection-has-died-by-suicide/TYSJF7II6JG63G7K6JGON522JQ/ -

"Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy tells The Associated Press that any changes will be determined by the intelligence gathered in the coming days about the evolving threats. But he said they are looking at allowing troops to carry their M-4 rifles or 9 mm Berettas, and he will know more in a day or two." https://www.king5.com/article/news/local/dc/national-guard-troops-dc-inauguration-day/65-261e7f47-44cc-4387-8778-c1197faf363d -

I said it before, and I'll say it again, tens of thousands of crazy nutjobs with loaded assault rifles, standing toe to toe with tens of thousands of national guard with loaded assault rifles, who will be already on edge from what happened at the capitol. All it takes is one nutjob to fire one shot, and that powder keg is going to go boom, and lots and lots of people are going to die. -

There is no voter fraud, it's all lies and a con to try and steal the election. The voting is secure as it's ever been. So the only way to restore faith in the legitimacy of our elections is to punish those lying about it. -

What would televising people counting ballots do exactly? Would every person hand counting have their own camera filming them? As the viewer you'd be sitting there with a split screen with hundreds of counties, with thousands of people sitting at a desk, for dozens of hours, on your TV? It would be like watching a thousand tax auditors doing paperwork at the same time for hours on end. What could anyone learn from watching all these people hand counting votes? Is it more it actually being documented that give peace of mind, thinking that it is most likely legit if it is in fact being filmed? -

Looking like Trump pardoning himself isn't going to work. "Self-pardon will not decrease the likelihood of his attempted prosecution by the Justice Department after he leaves office, and may even increase the chances of his indictment. More important, it will probably not result in legal recognition that the pardon power extends to presidential self-forgiveness. To the contrary, if Trump does attempt a self-pardon in the face of a compelling federal criminal case against him, the result is likely to be Supreme Court rejection of the self-pardon’s legality." https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2021/01/a-self-pardon-wont-save-trump/617592/?fbclid=IwAR0dWLCRCdLC4nVmKiDIjo1quKNZxCED2J3BybnERBb0Pan1MM0_xB7TNVE -

My prediction, there will be many many deaths on the 20th. This is their big day. Their last chance (in their minds). That's the day to go full out to save their country from the evil podophile lizard people deepstate overlords that will destroy the world if they don't stop them. It's all been building to this day. Many of them are going to want to go out in a blaze of glory. How many deaths, who knows, but it will be another sad sad day in American history. -

Wonder when the security footage from the terrorist attacks will be released? There has to be hundreds of security cameras all around the capitol, covering every every angle. So once the video footage is released, everyone can have a better idea of the events that happened. -

Doesn't look good when the police are in on it. But, the major difference this time, is the national guard will be there in huge numbers and they will be armed. So on one hand, what happened at the capitol won't happen again, as they will be prepared for anything. On the other hand though, huge number of armed nutjobs squaring off against large number of armed forces = potential for much bloodshed. -

This statement is ironic, because the writers of BTTF modeled Biff on Donald Trump. Writer Bob Gale made an prophetic prediction all the way back in 1988 that if Trump got power, he would turn the world into a egoic corrupt desolate wasteland based in greed. https://www.theguardian.com/film/2015/oct/23/back-to-the-future-writer-bad-guy-biff-was-based-on-donald-trump -
