I said it before, and I'll say it again, tens of thousands of crazy nutjobs with loaded assault rifles, standing toe to toe with tens of thousands of national guard with loaded assault rifles, who will be already on edge from what happened at the capitol. What would televising people counting ballots do exactly? Would every person hand counting have their own camera filming them? As the viewer you'd be sitting there with a split screen with hundreds of counties, with thousands of people sitting at a desk, for dozens of hours, on your TV? It would be like watching a thousand tax auditors doing paperwork at the same time for hours on end. What could anyone learn from watching all these people hand counting votes? My prediction, there will be many many deaths on the 20th. This is their big day. Their last chance (in their minds). So on one hand, what happened at the capitol won't happen again, as they will be prepared for anything. @Anderz He knew exactly what he was doing. Of course he is not going to blatantly say "Go march to the capitol and execute everyone who opposed me". It is reported by multiple people he was overjoyed as it was happening, as that is what he wanted to happen. And when the national guard tried to contact the president to get authorization to deploy the nation guard to stop the terrorist attacks he initiated, he ignored the calls.

If this is truly end, 4 people people dead and the trashing of the capitol is what it takes to end their lunacy, I consider us all lucky. For a long time, there was a fear of what they could do. 70 million Trump cult followers, most with auto war machine assault guns. There had been talk throughout Trump's reign of another civil war. If 70 million crazy Trump supporters with guns took to the streets in an organized assault across the country, who would be able to stop them? So if them braking into the capitol for some photo ops was the end result of their movement, we're damn lucky cause we could be morning thousands to tens of thousands if it had gone the other way.

Very much agree with everything you say here. Some of MAGA were deplorable ignorant dangerous radicals long before Trump. But, I think when the dust settles, we will see some people were good people before being brainwashed by the cult of Trump, enabled by half the government, and a designed echo-chamber created by social media giants like Facebook and twitter, that customize content so a person only seeing one version of reality, getting sucked in to that reality being the true one. That door was barricaded by security. You can clearly see she was shot as she was trying to climb through to other side. They likely considered that as the last defensive position before reaching the congress members and aids trapped inside the chamber. They shot her as she was the first invader coming in the chamber. They probably assumed anyone breaching the last line of defense was most likely armed, and had to defend themselves, the Senators, and any other innocent life in the chamber. Hopefully 35-yr-old Ashli Babbitt becomes a face of MAGA for what happened yesterday. A young woman who got brainwashed into a cult, and convinced to give her life for that cult leader.

Maybe this is the big question then. If he is able to be charged, but has the ability to walk free and hold up everything for the rest of his day, while he plays golf, it would be the same as not charging him at all, he'd still have no consequences for any of this. So if the country wants any justice at all, some judge is going to have to have the balls to have him arrested without bail, have him waiting in a holding cell till trail and sentencing.
