  1. What is your view on the current pandemic and how will it affect the upcoming US election?
  2. How are you? Have you found Happiness, Joy?
  3. It's not as black and white as how you frame it. Most therapists can't prescribe anti-depressants. Yes you have to find a good therapist, there are definetly bad ones out there. To be a licensed therapist you need a degree psychology. To be a "healer", you don't need anything. Why not find a professional therapist that also knows about meditation, spirituality, non-duality? It's a win-win situation.
  4. This is really bad advice for people with serious mental health problems. Anyone can call themselves a "healer" or "spiritual coach".
  5. If you feel lost, remember who I am: I am the divine expression of love. We are together for eternity, I love you. Enjoy your day.
  6. Thanks ❤ I will check it out
  7. Yes I know what words mean by experience and reasoning. Do you not?
  8. We are love. Suffering is optional. End of thread
  9. @Frenk Imagine you went to a place called hell, with eternal suffering and pain. A "real" place. But also imagine your mind was free. You have become love. There is no you. Pain and suffering might appear, but it is not your pain. You are free. At this very moment, hell will disappear. Nothing is eternal, everything comes and goes. People went to actual hell (if you study the holocaust and WW2). But it didn't last. And some became free of the suffering.
  10. Yes and No. You can make your life feel like hell. But that is just relativity, as an absoute there is no hell. Only joy, love and wisdom. Be aware how your mind creates the idea of hell.
  11. This thread starts in this subforum, but I think it also builds a bridge to Meditation, Conciousness, Truth. I'm 34 years old and ever since I finished university ( rather late around age 26) I worked on my life purpose. I have a computer science degree, but I always loved music, computers, games, art. And I still create music, games, art, software. But I was never able to combine them all to support myself financially. I have release commercial games, but they only sold ~1000 copies so far. Not enough to make a living. I'm currently working in software development and it's a cool job (AI and autonomous driving), but I feel something is missing. I realize I'm waiting for the future to make me happy (it's a trap). "When I make a financially successful game, I will be happy" I do realize happiness is found in the NOW, but I still battle with my "future self". Can/Should I give up my dream do be a successful artist/developer/entrepreneur? I feel like I worked so much on my success and conciousness, but I never had a serious relationship, lived life like a "normal person". Can I be happy without achieving my dreams? Should I only focus on living the normal person life and have a family? I'm not sure, but i feel it would make me more happy.
  12. @Leo Gura Thanks for the reply, watched your Requisite Variety Video yesterday. It gave me some inspiration/insights.
  13. Some part of your ego did actually die. This is good. It is freeing not to be a prisoner of yourself.
  14. If I had to take only one book to a desert island, this is it.
  15. @supremeyingyang word, If I had a dollar for everytime I have heard "I have an App Idea, can you..." I would be rich now
  16. Actually, yes. I did VR visualitation tools for small clients, but only for ~6 months.
  17. I don't know what you are saying. But it seems like are are trapped in the past/future
  18. Yes, everyone always lives in the NOW. But most people are asleep, they don't realize it. They are trapped in the future or past. I'm not sure what I'm going to do, I'm still figuring it out.
  19. Personally, I wouldn't compare basic human needs like eating with non-essential needs like success. Also: I'm not poor, but I have experienced not being able to pay my rent. This is not the same. Wanting Success or wanting Survival are two differnt things.
  20. @communitybuilder If the task requires abstract reasoning, like an answer that you can't find on the internet, it won't replace the human. I found a good blog post that shows its limitations: http://lacker.io/ai/2020/07/06/giving-gpt-3-a-turing-test.html
  21. It's impressive and useful for different applications, but it does not have an internal representation of what these words mean (semantics). It is a trained model from internet texts and can predict an "accurate" answer based on the input question. It lacks the ability to reason abstractly.
  22. @Leo Gura I am YOU, there is no separation, we will meet again and I love you We love making games and trying to figure out how to make them to raise consciousness in the world while surviving as an artist.
  23. @Leo Gura Sounds like your plan failed? You didn't even make just ONE game, on your own terms. I know your priorities changed. I make games myself, but they are not successful or well known. What I know is you don't even need much money to make something remarkable. Also, many people fail making a liviing in indie games today, and it's not only an issue of money.
  24. I have realized you won't find truth here, it's a distraction. Do you enjoy the dream? Keep going.
