Ghost of Sakura Ghost of Sakura is one of the most famous ghost stories of Japan, involving the vengeful ghosts of the farmer Sogoro and his wife, O Man. In the 17th century, Japan was ruled by feudal lords, many of whom treated their peasants harshly. Tenant farmers were assessed an annual land tax on the value of their crops. Whenever landlords were pressed for money, they demanded payment of taxes in advance. According to law, these advance taxes were supposed to be repaid to the tenants over a period of time—up to 20 years—with interest. But in practice, some landlords never repaid their tenants and kept demanding more and more tax money in advance. Such was the case in the province of Shimosa, ruled by Kotsuke no Suke, the lord of the castle of Sakura. When he succeeded his father’s estate, Kotsuke no Suke imposed additional taxes upon an already severely overtaxed population. The toll was heavy. Hundreds of farmers could no longer support their families. They could not sell their land because nobody wanted to buy it under such heavy taxation. Many abandoned their properties and fled to other provinces. More than 700 men were reduced to begging in the streets. Houses and temples fell into ruin.

I read your original post and most of the thread and fair enough its your decision and your view and i dont think anyone would be able to convince you otherwise. However i disagree with your premise that marriage is somehow sacred. If you look at most of human behavior it has its roots in evolutionary biology, marriage in the past has been very different to how we see it now. Most actions were made with the express purpose of assuring reproduction of ones genes and survival. In the past and maybe to some extent today marriage was a way for a man to restrict the sexual freedom of women to ensure that his genes were passed on through his wife, if marriage wasnt there his wife could sleep with whoever and there would be no way to know who impregnated her. Also it allowed the man to sleep with other women and maybe impregnate them but even if that didnt work the wife was still there and she would face harsh repercussions were she to sleep with anyone else. From the womans side their goal, evolution wise, is to have kids and make sure those kids are looked after. So their actions are to not only have sex and reproduce but also make sure that they are seen as having a good reputation so that a partner can trust them not to sleep with others so that hes comfortable to stay with her knowing the kids are his. This is why women defend their reputation as if they have a bad one its less likely a man will settle down with them. Its why women may lie about how many partners theyve had and claim less and a man would do the opposite. It should also be noted that marrying for 'love' is a relatively new phenomenon, traced back to around 150 years ago, before then you would marry to join families or for political and social gain, many marriages were arranged. Really marriage was a way to structure a blue society, similar to what some people like Jordan Peterson advocate today. So essentially marriage was a construct to benefit men and sexually control women. Also worth keeping in mind a lot of women were diagnosed by doctors as having hysteria (being horny) in which the treatment was for the doctor to masturbate them. So that brings us to today where it feels like women are now the ones pushing for marriage, we may say that they have been convinced that the values set in place by men have been internalised and through modern marketing, disney films etc, marriage has been given a romantic and all encompassing value by women. Ultimately society would want people to get married as that can keep them under control, and thats not necessarily a bad thing, but this is why i dont think theres anything sacred in a societal construct. The fact that people say its sacred goes to show how good the marketing was for it. I believe these evolutionary factors are the main reasons people would get married, have sex etc especially from SD stage red to orange, once you get to green and above i feel that you can start realising what truly loving someone entails. Most marriages will occur from red to orange so if most are not aware of what truly loving another is then just because they get married why would it automatically become sacred and deeper, in truth its just a story to wrap around the reality. I would encourage you to explore some of these ideas that ive tried to sum up, as i think the way you are strictly tied to your beliefs can actually limit your growth as a person. As @Preety_India said, sex without marriage can be incredibly meaningful, more so than married sex. If you just have one view, that its all about one night stands and whatnot you miss out on the reality of what it actually is.

That was beautifully written. It kinda opened my eyes to a lot of things actually. I didn't know so much about the history of marriage tbh kinda learned a lot and it makes a lot of sense now. You are very articulate. Keep up. You can dissect deeper concepts much better than anyone I've seen. Great analysis. I never thought of marriage historically actually, you're right we are so brainwashed into its idea. Thanks for mentioning me in the post or else I'd have never discovered it.

Truly spiritual people reject the world. They don't like the ways of the world. They see decline in morality. Because every spiritual person on a spiritual journey realizes at some point that this world is garbage and that this world works on garbage principles. As a witch I'm more intuitive and psychic.. I try to understand deeper truths.. A witch is a truth Seeker, a whistle blower, an exposer. That's why witches were hated for their wisdom. The devil hates the witch, because he sees her as a threat.. This is esoteric knowledge. Occult knowledge. The society has a way to punish the witch to demonize her because she will speak her mind, she will speak the truth. (these are just my thoughts. I'm not claiming anything that I say is true. This is just my contemplation, my thoughts, I don't claim that they are ultimate truth. You should not follow me in any way but find the truth in your way) I'm not some Messiah, I'm just a normal person in the search of spirituality and truth. So whatever insights I write, they come from my private contemplation

The truth doesn't change no matter what. The messenger can be a different person but the truth remains the same. The truth is behind the scenes in the shadows. The thing is spiritual people remain the same. Because the ultimate good or true spirit remains the same. This true spirit then gets shared into many souls who get different identities as people. So you have person A who is truly spiritual You have person B who is truly spiritual You have person C who is truly spiritual You have person D who is truly spiritual. Now if person A says the truth, then person B, C and D will agree with A. Because they all will say the same truth that person A is saying. Since they are all truly spiritual. The spirit is one. It's only divided and shared and placed into A, B, C and D. So they will agree to the truth. Because the message remains the same. Only the messenger changes. Maybe one messenger will die. Then another messenger will be born. But the message will remain the same. That message will not change. For example SAI BABA will say a truth. Buddha will agree with it. Because the spirit in Sai is the same spirit in Buddha. Sai Baba will say another truth. Jesus will agree with it. Mohammed will agree with it Ram will agree with it Buddha will agree with it Because in every form, the message will remain the same. God's message and truth will come to you, maybe the person speaking this truth, whether it be Buddha, Christ or Sai is different, but the message is not different. Because there is only one true spirit, the same spirit exists in Christ. This same spirit exists in Sai Baba. This same spirit exists in Buddha, this same spirit exists in Mohammed. The same spirit exists in Ram or Shiva. Because the spirit does not change. The truth does not change. So whatever religion you are following, you are worshipping the same God. Because there is only one God, one true spirit. Only the form is different, the prophet is different. All Gods are same. Only one spirit that speaks the truth through many people, many languages, many cultures. Because truly spiritual people, they are all cut from the same cloth. They come from the same seed They are all same. They will reflect the same truth. Truly spiritual people are always in search of the truth. Because they want to live by the truth. Truly spiritual people want to live life in a spiritual way. They don't like this world. They don't accept this world. Because through their spiritual mind or soul they have understood that this world is fake, useless, shallow and superficial.
