Since I'm at stage Green so I don't believe in seeing immigration as a threat. In fact like stage Green people I think people should give up nationalism and get rid of ethnocentrism philosophy. But for the sake of this thread I tried to empathize with Stage Blue people who would think this way that immigrants are a huge problem and even if I don't agree with their ethnocentric thoughts but I will at least need to have an understanding of how they think. So if I imagine myself sitting with a stage Blue nationalist they probably might bring up the survival issue and blame immigrants for it. In this context the thought that came to my mind was that stage blue societies also have strong moral principles at the top to run the system so I was thinking to myself how are Stage Blue nationalists going to find a middle ground between their constitutional principles and survival of its people whereby they really look at immigration as a huge threat. Example in point - Republicans in the United States who constantly talk about immigration in negative ways. So I tried putting myself in their shoes and I can see why they would think immigration as a threat since they have this strong ethnic identity. But I wasn't able to come up with a solution or argument I could put forward to such Republicans Yes very much like in the US and Europe and in many other countries as well Good point. This really solves the problem. That's how a stage Blue system can tackle the issue if they're conflicted about principle versus survival. Good point Yea really good point when. When a country is not well established or designed they will easily find ways to find fault where there is none. It's the scarcity mindset of the stage Blue. Btw the scarcity mindset is very common in Stage BLUE countries where If the government fails to provide a social safety net then its the fault of the public.. Thank you Your input pretty much answered my question already. -
@Keyhole Also you're somewhat of an empath. But given your HSP, you can't afford to be a deep empath since you will start attracting narcissists, the more empathetic you become the more likely you are to attract them back. Narcissists can smell an empath from miles the way a shark smells a sardine . You'll need to control your empathy and limit it to yourself as a self defense and survival mechanism. That is self empathy.
-
@Keyhole you're not a narcissist. Not at all. I have psychologically profiled you with the limited interaction I had with you. These are my findings about you. You're an HSP. That means you are highly sensitive. This is not a problem, it's just your nature. You have to stay away from triggers in a very conscious way. You have endured great emotional suffering HSP people generally tend to suffer emotionally much more than others because life situations tend to create more emotional suffering in them. Although with time progression and emotional maturity they slowly begin to handle this emotional irregulation and suffering a lot better. You have deep deprivation of love, care, and companionship which means you were kept deprived of such things. The way you write is an indication that you have suffered a deprivation or deficiency. That means what you deserved wasn't provided to you or given to you. This can be resolved if you do more self care and emotionally independent and be gentle with yourself and give more love to yourself on your own. Such love will be difficult to get in a world where most people are selfish. Again this is not your fault at all, you just did not get what your body and mind deserved and it's because a deficient environment of the world around you. You need someone who cares about you deeply and gives you enough space to cope and heal. But if you don't find such a person you can still do the same on your own You don't like being abandoned. So you need the company of either humans or pets. This is just a need and not a problem or flaw You are very creative and freedom loving You have deeper needs rather than superficial needs. Such needs can't be easily fulfilled because most people are very superficial You're the opposite of a narcissist. This means a narcissist can take advantage of you and you will need to keep a watch that they are carefully removed from your life You just need a lot of soothing and healing and space to grow, with or without therapy. In any case once your healing kicks in, you will begin to feel alright. Look and research and practice a variety of self healing methods that are best suited to you. Till your healing doesn't fully happen you will have to be relatively insulated from most triggers by carefully avoiding and ignoring them

@Red-White-Light relationships are way too complicated to be defined under such narrow lens. I understand your negative outlook on relationships because you see all these problems. Well, it's a matter of choice. Sometimes being in a relationship makes you feel so good that the feeling can last forever. It's a permanent dopamine. It's your game. You decide whether you like it or not.if you don't see any benefit I suggest you live single and invest your time in other fulfilling things that make you feel happy Relationship is not everyone's cup of tea. And it won't be worth it if it's much pain and less happiness. There is no absolute way of looking at relationships. Just like there is no absolute way of looking at life. For some life is a struggle and not worth anything. For others life is a joy ride and they are too happy to be alive and living. So really it differs from person to person. Someone who is extremely happy in their relationship right now might look at it like some jackpot lottery and completely disagree with you. But then again heaven or hell, nothing lasts forever. Some people want the taste of heaven even if it's for 1 day. They are fine if the relationship ended the next day. One person's heaven is another person's hell. You pick what you want. If you think risking your heart for one experience is too bad, then it's up to you. But if you think that a relationship no matter how bad or short lived is worth the risk then you would take it just to get a taste. But one thing is true - relationships whether good or bad are great experiences. And experience is king. It teaches you like no other.

@DocWatts ok I'll ask you this. Let's say you're living in a small country. Just hypothetical example. So you have a small group of immigrants who have somehow landed in your country. Now they're extremely successful and they are so competent that they can outdo the whole population of your country. They can basically take over, both money wise and health wise. Now your population is not able to compete with these people due to many reasons like health or whatever, lack of skill. And you can clearly see the dangers of these people growing in size and how they could take up the entire space and basically make everyone lose their survival by getting all the resources to themselves and competing really hard against you. The winner takes it all and they're the winner. Now you're the head of this country and you want to protect the survival of your people. You are thinking the only option is to threaten this group into oblivion and make them disappear somehow or put them in an Existential threat by marginalizing and constantly delegitimizing their rights so they are constantly harassed and don't get to succeed. Their resources are purposefully taken away and they are made to suffer so their progress is unlikely. But now you're posed with the question. That your state was created on the principle of liberty and Equality for all, so none should be treated worse than another. So by principle you aren't allowed to treat this group unfairly since the principle says fair treatment of all, superior or inferior. Hence you can't treat them badly just because they are superior to the rest of the population. Now you're confused. Because if you treat them badly and take away their basic rights, you are probably going against the rule of law of "fair treatment of all".. However if you obeyed the principle and did nothing vicious to this group, they will succeed and others of your population will fail and thus lose their survival. So you're caught between following principle or ensuring survival. The death or extermination of this group would mean survival of your population although such extermination would be against your core principles whereas giving freedom and equal rights to all, no extermination would mean your survival in threat. So my question is how do you navigate this scenario between survival and principle. ( I didn't want to put this example in the opening post because I thought it would be too controversial.) -

@DocWatts I framed the question around this example but I didn't want to give a real example, because I thought it would be controversial for the forum. -

@Leo Gura watching. I like the line where you say "for every 1 person who gets capital in a capitalist system there are hundreds of people who are wage slaves and have no capital." On point. Still watching. -

@tsuki call the lsd thing off and it's not good for you. Lsd can fuck up the autoimmune system, you already have a disregulated system. Get diagnosed for both fibromyalgia and Sjogren syndrome. Post results of your blood work here anonymously If you need help pm me when you get the results and I can do some research. How is your Covid? Please take care and get blood work done by next week.

In fact this principle always and always applies in real estate. I remember looking for a place to rent a few years ago and after some searching I responded to the ad. I did not think why it was available in the first place. Why wasn't it sold already? It was an old ad after all. When I went to the place, it appeared clean and nice and the person who wa was the landlord told me all nice things about the place. So I fixed the deal and paid the advance deposit and confirmed the rent. After a few days I moved in and lived there. They were very cordial and polite and the first three days felt perfect. And after 3 days the problems began. The electricity would shut off intermittently. The water was slow and sometimes no water. The food couldn't be cooked because the place was too small and there was no arrangement for cooking. The drinking water was terrible. After a few months I quit and realized why that place wasn't being sold out quick because nobody wanted it. Now I know that in order to get a better place I also have to do a lot of hard work and research and not simply respond to the very first ad. These days if I see the same ad many times I know why it's rotting there because nobody wants to apply or buy. Same goes for products in stores. If they come with great discounts and if it looks like they are super cheap with a great deal its most likely because it wasn't getting sold and nobody wanted it so they are giving it in deals to scam people At this point if anything looks too easy and too good then it's likely a bad thing. That's how the world works. Anything that looks readily available and too easy or too good for your money then it's likely a big scam.
-
Yes this principle pretty much works in life. It makes a lot of sense because it tells you that whatever that looks super easy is actually a farce Nothing that is absolutely beautiful in life ever comes easily. Lot of hard work involved in that. You have to work so hard to make things work. This especially applies a lot to relationships. When you get someone who easily creates a connection with you by constantly trying to appease you they are just being shallow and cheap whereas a person who has worked hard to earn your faith and trust is not going to leave you easily, will not cheat on you. Same goes for friends. Friends who cherish your bond will earn your respect by putting in the work. Whereas friends who you acquire easily because they simply wanted a chat buddy they are not going to care about you and might some day block you from their life. Similarly when it comes to money if a job spot is easily available, understand why it's so easily available. Why didn't someone claim it already? This happened to me at my first job. I responded (7 years ago) to an ad in the newspaper and appeared for the job interview and I had no idea how the job was going to be. Guess what. It was the most horrible job. It was like a telemarketing job and those people took my college certificates as a collateral The place was so cramped and dingy and the coworkers were horrible and the working conditions were very dismal and they wouldn't even give me a 2 min break. My health began to rapidly decline and when I protested they told me to pay to get those certificates. I couldnt have been apply to another job because they kinda held me hostage. The only way to get out was by filing a court case. But that would mean a huge loss money wise. So I paid last month salary and got out of that place. In fact you could say it was "easy come harder go" Even a bad relationship is easy come and harder go because it's easy to fall in love but much harder to get out of a toxic relationship. So yes the adage is absolutely applicable to everyday life Almost anything bad in your life is an example of easy come easy go and sometimes easy come harder go

This is fibromyalgia. You have inflammation in your body which is indicated by the arthritis. This will take 6 months to a year to heal. You need to drink Berry and apple juice. Include loads do citrus fruits and berries. Look for anti-inflammatory naturally found foods and start eating them. Exercise and sleep well. Eat Vitamin D. Very important. Stay away from allergies. Reduce stress. Do not eat junk food. Cut dairy. Drink honey every day. Regular walking or slight jogging. No heavy jogging. Light cardio. No heavy cardio. Drink tons of clean water each day to flush inflammation causing proteins Move the muscle and massage the area that shows tingling stinging. It will take a ton of time for the stinging tingling muscle to return back to normal. This is both a brain body issue. Too much inflammation reaches the brain affecting nerves that cause abnormal sensations to appear in specific muscles.. Also too much work especially in front of a computer can impact the brain. Use good quality radiation resistant anti glare glasses. Add lemons to your diet. Drink lime/lemon water with some sugar. This will take a lot of time to heal. Be Patient. It's not a big thing. It might go away on its own. However if you don't take good care, the muscle will get weaker and weaker and spread to other neighboring muscles. So take all precautions right now.

@electroBeam I never drank tap water in my entire life. It's extremely dangerous to drink tap water no matter where you live in the world. Please install a good filtration system available in your town or city and stop drinking tap water and never drink it again.
-
I guess stress worsens it really bad. But I don't have much knowledge on this condition at the moment.
-
@electroBeam I use a special one that I ordered from Amazon. This is the one I ordered. I guess you could order it from Amazon to your home, check if a similar one is available in your town or city either from your local website or Amazon. It really gives very clean water. I can tell the difference and it's affordable. https://www.amazon.com/Express-Water-Reverse-Osmosis-Filtration/dp/B00J2DGTD8/ref=mp_s_a_1_8?dchild=1&keywords=Water+filtration&qid=1606386742&sr=8-8 So this is how it looks. It's called Express Water Reverse Osmosis Filtration

Do you have a proper timely sleep schedule? I'm extremely sorry you're having to deal with this. I'll see if I can find solutions. Currently I'm myself dealing with sleep and fatigue issues as well.
