  1. I said my last word and yes, case closed.
  2. I wasn't meaning to start a debate on such an obvious thing. If some of the guys who don't want to believe what I said, then well, go do research online and look for yourself instead of simply contradicting me or assuming that I come from a country that has dirty water and using that as a condescending way to justify drinking your tap water.. A lot of people in my country won't be able to afford a purifier but that doesn't mean that they are drinking dirty water and dying. Otherwise more than half the population would have been dead by now. That's not the reason why I have a purifier. I've it because I know that chemicals like chlorine and a bunch other toxic metals are just not healthy and present in most tap water samples. So even if you think that your tap water is cleaner than mine, that's not the case, you are better off thinking that what you're drinking is really unhealthy long term, although you aren't dying instantly, it still does have long term ramifications and if you are really concerned about it, then you should go get a purifier. Anyway my job was just to make Public Service Announcement, not debate. Take it or leave it.
  3. @nistake Exactly!! I'm like, those who want to drink, drink lol.
  4. @nistake some of the folks are not believing it. Maybe you can help them understand.
  5. I'm not talking about the mineral content. Just that it's distilled like pure clean water. If you want minerals, you might want to drink bottled water or get a remineralizing RO.
  6. Most tap water contains heavy metals. I can only speak from my experience of being in India and in the US. It's not healthy. Probably some European countries in the North have direct source to good water. I'm pretty sure in most countries, given global pollution levels in the soil and the level of metal toxicity in the world, it's definitely going to show up in the tap water throughout several countries. This is not so much about a country developing and not developing. In fact the more industrialized a country is greater is the probability of environmental impact in that country, since its almost impossible to control environmental impact of industrialization, so you will find a lot of pollutants, heavy metals in the fish, fresh water bodies containing heavy metals.. In such circumstances no matter how clean the tap water looks, no matter how you think about it, it contains a huge dose of heavy metals unless you are getting access to pure water in remote regions. Also the government bodies add a lot of fluoride and other chemical products for both cleaning and deodorizing the local water supply to your home. If you look at the overall picture, you'll surely find clear evidence that tap water is not good for you.
  7. Adrak wali chai in India. ginger tea is a very common Indian beverage made from tea leaves and fresh ginger. Its also called as Adrak chai or Adrak wali chai in India. Tea is one beverage that is made in all homes in India. sometimes i make the tea with milk. At times, I make tea with cashew or soy milk. I don’t add almond milk as I don’t like the taste of almond milk in tea. With cashew milk, you won’t even come to know that the tea is made in it and not regular milk. There are a few variations of tea made in India. some spices are added to the tea thus making it a Masala chai. you can also use a chai spice blend know as masala chai powder. There is also mint tea or pudina chai and tulsi tea, which is made from fresh mint leaves and tulsi leaves (holy basil) respectively. Also, a combination of both ginger and mint can be used while making tea. Recipe taken from the web. 1. Wash, peel and crush the ginger. Keep all the ingredients ready for making ginger tea. 2. Crush or powder 3-4 cardamoms in a mortar-pestle. 3. In a saucepan or kettle, add 4 cups of water, 2 inch ginger grated and the crushed cardamom with the peel. 4. Boil this water-ginger-cardamom mixture for a good 6-7 minutes, till the color of the water changes to a mild yellowish hue. Ginger releases its juices & flavors in the water and thus the color of the water changes 5. Add 8 teaspoon sugar and simmer for a more of 1-2 minutes. 6. Now add 3-4 teaspoon of tea leaves and simmer for about 1 to 2 minutes till the water gets a deep hue of red. 7. Simmering make the tea strong. If you prefer a light version, then just add the tea leaves to the water. Cover and allow the tea leaves to steep in the hot spiced water for 3 to 4 minutes. 8. Add ¼ to ½ cup of hot milk. Some people like to have more milk and some like less milk in ginger tea. So it varies from person to person. 9. If adding cold milk, then simmer for a minute or two. If using cashew milk or almond milk, then just stir the cashew milk with tea and remove from pan as otherwise heating further would cause the cashew or almond milk to become slimy and separate. 10. Strain the tea through a strainer right into the cups. Serve the hot ginger tea or adrak chai with Indian snacks like bread pakora, shakkar pare, mathri or samosas. You could also serve the tea with biscuits or cookies.
  8. @The_Alchemist thank you!
  9. I apologize. (maybe I should have used more tact.)
  10. I'm not an sjw because I have issues with SJWs. A lot of people don't like the teachings of JP and they are not SJWs. It's a myth created by JP.
  11. At least he won't get any publicity here. So one place is safe.
  12. @diamondpenguin what starts as a trainwreck ends as a trainwreck. The guys who did this were total fools. This ended up giving greater leverage to Wall Street because of the unethical nature of the collusion. When you bite the hand that feeds you, the hand wins.
  13. Yep it can be really uncomfortable, the constant questioning can drive me nuts. It also shows that they are daft. Intelligence is also seen in how the other person is creating a harmonious flow during the conversation almost effortlessly. Plus it should be easy on the ears because I don't want to hear an entire encyclopedia under 10 mins haha. Other metrics like inflections in voice, dropping jokes here and there, I usually tend to add a lot of humor to a conversation, but I also need a witty response from the other end, imagine if you cracked a joke and the other person looks silently at you like they've no clue, oh shucks
  14. Enough JP threads.
  15. This doesn't seem like sleep paralysis to me. It doesn't sound like hallucination either. You're were simply in some deep trance probably because of the overlapping of sleep and overthinking. You're completely normal. Nothing was wrong.
  16. @modmyth I'd say all sorts of intelligence. Someone who is quite knowledgeable across the board. It helps with daily conversations. I love stimulating conversations. Or else it gets too boring you know. For example if a guy only talks about sports. I'd find that incredibly boring. But if a guy wants to discuss politics, culture, philosophy, food, lifestyle, self development, business, spirituality, id love that so much. Another part of seeking an intelligent partner is emotional eq and I've a lot of respect for people with a high level in this department. It's very refreshing to hold stimulating conversations with people who have high psychological and emotional intelligence. Usually im not the chatty one during a conversation. But I like to drop in my perspectives into the conversation from time to time. And I love it when me and the other person are on a roll hehe.
  17. @Brandon Nankivell storm water and rain water is preferably better than the water from water bodies. It's water in its purest form. I love rain water or storm water. It's pure distilled. I generally use storm water during my witchcraft mabon, Samhain and Ostara. It's customary for me to collect storm water for the ritual. It's similar to drinking water from a glacier on a mountain. I always prefer fresh storm water directly collected at night/evenings during a hailstorm.
  18. If you want love without these so called conditions, then your love is also conditional love. Do you see it? Only this time the conditions have been stealthily tailored to suit you Unconditional love is only unconditional in the absolute sense when you want nothing in return, absolutely nothing. But you want something. ... Sex
  19. I think the belief that you are responsible for your own suffering is a very erroneous perspective. There are a million different nuanced ways to look at suffering.
  20. @Hardkill I don't have much knowledge about different governors. But I guess the new York governor Andrew Cuomo did a good job at being very militant with early action and lockdowns.
  21. I'm really waiting for how this thing will end. Fingers crossed.
  22. It would be incredibly difficult to not use a word that describes a person's spiritual growth in life. There is always be a system or a model or a word for the sake of distinction and description. If someone that to you and it in some way made you feel awkward, just politely decline any judgement thrown at you, simply tell them you are a work in progress and such terms don't suit you. Yes I can completely understand your perspective Tim. Yet if your friend is involved in low conscious behaviors like stealing or addiction, you might want to reveal to them a distinction between high consciousness behaviors and low consciousness behaviors and help them out to pursue a higher goal in life At the same time, a lot of people use such terms in one upping each other, a merit badge of sorts to measure people on a scale of consciousness and it can easily turn into a superiority - inferiority game of "I'm better than you" and that definitely does not come from a helpful origin. My suggestion would be to try to get to know the intention of the person since consciousness is such an ambiguous term, it would be quite difficult to gauge a person's intention from that word alone, so you would need to look at the overall context of their post or conversation. Look for clues. If they're not helping you with real practical advice and simply trying to pigeonhole you with "low consciousness" labels, then let them know that and ignore their subtle games. On the other hand, do not miss out on great advice that someone might have to offer, simply because they used the phrase low consciousness, maybe they're trying to direct you to a better path in life by choosing to tell you that the current state of your world is coming from low consciousness. So it definitely benefits to focus on overall context in which such phrases are used.
  23. One of my main focus is to buy the Tony Robbins course. Not right away. Not right now. Because I've other stuff to do. I'm also writing a book right now. And it will probably be published later. So I'll probably take the Tony Robbins course 2 months later. Also I'm not fully prepared for his course just yet so it might be a waste of time if I'm not mentally prepared for it.
  24. Truly beautiful words.
