  1. All the stress has been draining me so badly.
  2. I just want to take a quick break
  3. 10 signs of fake nice people Humble bragging - false modesty. They will act like they are humble but indirectly brag about their moral Superiority. They will act like they don't care too much but actually they do. Passive aggressive behavior.. Trying to act sweet and nice as a facade but then having bad intentions reflected in their mean jabs that are generally sarcastic. Not showing their true intentions. Ghosting... Very important. It's the biggest red flag of toxic and fake people. They suddenly fall off the radar, They suddenly refuse to answer your calls or reply your texts. Ghosting often occurs right after the relationship is seemingly going pretty well. The other person might even seem nice and polite and all of a sudden they can completely cut you out of their lives. Crocodile tears. Ted Cruz comes to mind. .
  4. What are the boundaries I need to set with friends Never have people who lie to you (my ex used to lie a lot to me) say no to people who have previously lied to me about something
  5. Yes please do it. Socialization can take a chunk out of your life without knowing it. Well socialization is generally healthy, but only in healthy environments. So the best is to cut it out. Focus solely on your growth and your goals
  6. OK now start with a clean slate. Always keep a blueprint in mind
  7. I'm leaving this journal. Don't want to waste my time reading such comments. What a load of crap!
  8. I really need to be serious about this Cut down 80% from the friends lists.
  9. how-to-find-higher-quality-people-and-friends/ /62882-how-to-deal-with-friends-who-use-and-dump-you
  10. Friend's traits. Make friends with people who respect me Who give me space Who keep me emotionally safe Who are not toxic.
  11. Leave me alone. This journal is not about you. Everything doesn't have to revolve around you. This journal is about my ways to find healthy friendships. Stop your projections and making everything about you. It's fine if we don't get along. It doesn't need to be perfect. I'm in my own world. I've no interest in raging against you. These are all your projections and assumptions. And I am not trying to change what you think of me. If someone projects on me, it's their problem not mine. Meanwhile my friends that I have here don't say these things about me. So I don't relate to any of the stuff written.
  12. I've used Brita. It's totally useless. Either go get a $300(min) RO or don't do anything.
  13. So what is my crime? - Being born an Indian woman
  14. Yes not those. Those are off the list.
  15. Another Indian woman dead because of dowry - an inhuman evil practice. The most recent suicide of an Indian woman (because of Dowry) boiled my blood and prompted me to write this journal. What broke my heart was this video of this Indian woman pleading to her parents before jumping off the bridge, smiling and accepting her fate and giving her last testimony on how society failed her, her husband who mercilessly harassed her for more Dowry and she couldn't come up with that kind of money to pay him and eventually gave up her life due to continuous harassment from her husband. It instantly reminded me of the millions of Indian women who either committed suicide or were burned alive for not meeting the demands of the husband and her in laws. And this happened for centuries. How many more Indian women will succumb to this evil practice? When will Dowry stop??????? The suicide case of Ayesha because of dowry harassment from husband. Her husband demanded from her a video of her suicide to ensure that she wasn't being drama queen. Pathetic.
  16. How the British helped Indian women by abolishing Sati - an inhuman practice against Indian women Generational trauma of Indian women through centuries of oppression Ingrained misogyny in Hindu religion, Indian culture and Indian society.
  17. I need to talk about some major social evils that Indian women face Dowry Female infanticide - killing of female babies before, during or after birth as a social practice Rape Acid attacks Constant violence against Indian women Sexual harassment Shaming and Ostracization Stigmatization Forced marriages Child labor Female sex trafficking in India Stalking Harassment by Husband and In Laws Marriage as a trap for most Indian women Safety issues of Indian women Arranged Marriages Victim Blaming and Shaming in India Conditions of Widows Sati - a historical social evil against Indian women
  18. I'm going to be touching on a few pointers that I want to write about when describing the conditions of Indian women. Historical perspective - how Indian women were treated in the past. Social evils against Indian women in Indian history. Rape as a rampant problem The existence of Dowry - a significant social evil against Indian women How Indian society silences Indian women through threat, shaming and emotional blackmail Indian women getting stalked - a rampant problem Indian women branded as "feminist" and "evil" and "drama queens" when they protest social evils against them or ask for equal rights. An Indian woman considered a disgrace by her family. In what situations? Dowry - an exploitative system meant to control and harass women The need of an Indian husband as a bodyguard - an Indian woman being told she won't be safe without an Indian man. Constant shaming of Indian women by Indian society and the need to stay anonymous online and offline Rape culture in India High suicide rates of women in India due to harassment abuse and lack of support Indian society being overly judgemental of Indian women Beauty is a curse in Indian society - how beautiful women suffer harassment in India and how it becomes her biggest curse. Sexual repression of women in Indian society - how indian women are shamed when they talk about sex How Indian women are constantly judged by the clothes they wear or the makeup they do - how Indian women are shamed and constantly given dirty looks for simply being themselves How rejecting a man is a huge security threat in Indian society Acid attacks on women in India. The reality of the level of threat that Indian women constantly face What real misogyny looks like - a peek into the misogynistic base of Indian society How Indian women who speak up are constantly silenced
  19. I can't give out any personal information. It's for my security. I suffered a ton of stalking in the past. So i don't give out any personal details out of fear Also I don't trust people with my information because they can easily betray me.
  20. Family pressure on an Indian woman is higher than anywhere else in the world. The family carefully controls her every move, Everything she does is constantly scrutinized not only by her family but also by society. An Indian woman is a product of suppression, oppression and repression Years of being oppressed by a male dominated society has caused Indian women to suffer generational trauma on a striking level.. The other characteristic of being an Indian woman is that you are literally blamed for everything that is wrong in the world You are told by society - "Everything is your fault and only your fault." It's hard to live in an extremely judgmental society where you are constantly blamed for every little thing. How you walk, how you talk, every little thing is monitored.
  21. Being an Indian woman is a very difficult thing. First of all you are not even considered a human being if you are an Indian woman. You're basically considered a property of your society. There are many references in Indian movies where the Indian woman is referred to as a burden in the family. She is considered a liability by her family that needs to be gotten rid of by marrying her off to some random dude
  22. Indian women lead some of the most distressing disturbing and difficult lives in the world. On average, Indian women suffer highest rates of depression for a demograph in the world. It's not easy to understand an Indian woman's struggles
