Eventually I'm the winner, that's what I need to tell myself. The road to healing happens when you embrace your struggles and call yourself a winner.

Sometimes this helps me.

@Raptorsin7 I think it's toxic masculinity to assume that a man can never be weak. This puts pressure on men and causes them to feel a sense of shame, abandonment and embarrassment when opening up about their abuse.. I feel like men should have their own version of the MeToo movement. Its high time and its necessary in this era, to give a voice to abused and oppressed men who never had a chance to state their side.

Yesterday I had a dream where my mom was beating a young boy mercilessly to death. When I woke up I felt it. The pressure. The sadness. It brought back childhood memories of her violent nature.

The meaning here is pretty deep yet straightforward. Humans seek the purpose of their existence, and everything we set out to conquer in this search is outward. However, we end up looking for the wrong things like riches, power, status, etc. If we started looking inward, we’d begin to realize that happiness is extracted from the simple things we do and feel. From the people in our lives. What one has, even if it is mundane, might be far more meaningful than the seemingly majestic options. One might be happier embracing their true self rather than creating a falsified outward appearance to seem more impressive. The purpose of our existence is merely to be a harmonious part of our ecosystem which in turn is a part of the universe. The quest for wealth and power would never complete that quest for happiness. For Zima, the blue in his murals was his true calling. His purpose that once was. Why he had been created. He simply goes back to his beginning and embraces his truth. -

Numbers. Aren't enough men.

What does that mean?

Most successful women settle for men who earn less than them.

This forum has bad energy for some reason. Avoid it. It creates unnecessary social games. There is no beauty here. @Preety_IndiaWhy don't you just focus on something else that is interesting and oriented with learning like a new skill outside of this forum. Everyday there is something disappointing happening here Everyday I wake up to a personal message that creates a disappointing or upsetting feeling. Just put an end to it and focus on something outside the forum and write about it. Don't involve with the material here. The material here is bad energy and toxic. It corrupts the mind. Don't check personal messenger. Someone is always writing something mundane or mean No support, no encouraging words, just bad juju all the time and angry manic hostile competitive energy here It makes sense. It's a self development forum after all.

The problem is that you are trying to make it look like one is better than the other. However a woman can still value an LTR and a family whilst having a good career and if you don't see that in a woman, it simply means that she isn't capable enough. But this is not to say that one should take precedence over another, both can go hand in hand and create a fulfilling life

I like the idea of individuation and attracting a compatible partner based on your growth. Makes perfect sense.
-
Haha that was like the golden line!

I'm not saying that they want a successful woman. Maybe they are just okay with it or don't see it as a problem. I mean as long as the relationship is going good for them, why will they worry about anything else?
-
And just because some men on this thread said that, does it become the gold standard? What a ridiculous thing to say?
-
Yes I agree with this
