There are so many beautiful things if you just look around. Then sure enough you don't need to look at ugly things.

@trenton OK what I'm getting here is that CRT means a broader encapsulation of racism beyond bigotry around skin color but taking into account a wide context of legal and economic structures and policies that carry subtle layers of discrimination which end up having hurtful consequences and are generally ignored because they don't appear explicitly racist yet the outcome disproportionately tends to undercut the foreseeable privileges that the discriminated groups might receive -

I want to start a blog. I'm thinking about the aesthetics and the name and everything else. The name is the most important. I want a cool name. I decided this one - Conscious Living Org. How is it ? I actually want something really unique. I'm still not sure what name I should pick. There are a bunch of names in my head - spiritual resources.com, spiritual valley, sativa blog, eminence blog, conscious living etc. would be nice if you suggest some.

@Karmadhi I think using the term average doesn't lead to any further discrimination. Only a category. However when you say "an okay looking girl," it begs the question/thought that there might be another group that is considered "not okay looking" and that makes it really controversial and degrading, because to tell someone that they are "okay" or "not okay" is kinda making them feel like almost worthless either way, it's like telling someone they didn't make it through or they just barely made it through. That would be quite discriminatory if you ask me. Plus someone being called "okay looking" gives a sense that they have desperately made it to your validated or calibrated category of what you consider to be "fine" or "nice" this somehow adds layers to the validation you assume they should be pining for when in reality such validation itself is a huge question of human virtue and dignity. You're almost stepping on human dignity here when you're trying to categorize women. Men are also categorized as "less charming" or "boring" or "handsome" yet these categories aren't dehumanizing just descriptive terms Yet calling someone "okay" is far more dehumanizing because it really borders on human dignity. So calling a woman average shouldn't be dehumanizing. For example you can call me an average girl. There are average men as well. Then it becomes sort of gender neutral. I am curious to know as to why you would think that the word average is so demeaning when it's the general usage. It could be that you have added extra layers of contempt to the word "average", and this is possibly your own projection and frustration. I never felt offended whenever you used the term average. Average can mean anything almost, it's highly ambiguous and quite safe because it doesn't create too many distinctions. Or is this because you think average women should not be in the same line as average men and so you found a way to lower average women even further so as to differentiate them from average men, as to be less worthy of average men.

I don't see this as being connected with individualism. It seems it has more to do with ethnicity, genetic differences and socio economic class. These differences will always exist because that's how they have evolved over time and their existence is already preprogrammed. This is a question of "fate" being a strong component of one's success in life. The kind of factors discussed in the video are basically "birth factors." I think instead of calling it individualism, a more appropriate title would be, "why birth factors should not be ignored and instead accommodated for!" Actually stretching this a bit further, I'd say that in comparison to Western cultures /societies /countries, this sort of discrimination and lack of opportunity/lack of equal outcome is far more pronounced in so called collectivist societies like India and rest of Asia. So having collectivism in my country or other similar countries doesn't really help. I'd say western societies/countries are still far more egalitarian and equal opportunity driven as compared to countries that are Non-Western. -
Where was I asking for validation? I was asking for cool ideas on name.

@modmyth that song Big in Japan is nice to hear but midway through the song I couldn't stop laughing because their energy is so strong and the singer's expressions, I thought they should have renamed the song to "Earthquake in Japan," . I mean their music might almost cause an earthquake.

I can't believe girls give you their number.

Emotional and funny talk. Focus on that.

The only rational advice (not even advice) here would be to simply deal with flaking. It's a part and parcel of dating. Giving number to a random stranger is not an easy thing, dating or no dating. And then add on top the whole idea of meeting.... To me this sounds like it is not the most helpful way of creating relationships for most women, they don't see value in it as much as you do. So they flake. The ones who accept might be the type you're looking for I'm sure not every girl flakes but typically flake rates would be higher if you got low game.

I think that's a very demeaning way of putting it. You can say average girl instead of saying okay looking girl.

I sometimes gave my number with 1 digit missing.
