When I was doing this one last week I kept saying to myself, "you better not." like over and over.

I want to isolate myself as much as possible. Even if it's a painful thing to do. It's for my own good. I'm too tired dealing with people. I don't need it.. Isolation has always benefitted me.

Part 1

This I drew last week and I remember needing a hella lot of time to do this one. It should have been easy but I kept correcting it constantly. There was way too much blurring and I wasn't able to do the eyes right. It didn't turn out exactly how I wanted it.

This needed two weeks to complete because of the intricate design. My hand was a bit unsteady so the boundary got a bit mushy. It didn't come out clear and there some paint splatter that created a nice splatter effect. I wanted to create a 1960s postcard effect so I chose peach for the background. The lines weren't part of the original idea but they were created automatically during the splatter effect which came out unexpectedly nice given all the mistakes I made. I love the color combination. It was hard to draw each color separately and mix and match different pens constantly. I left the middle portion as dark black to contrast with the rest. I'm quite satisfied even though it's not perfect.

My pen slightly got all over the place and in the last minute I wasn't able to undo the mess. This appears a bit messy because the light purple got all over the place. Difficult to control the pen while trying to draw neat lines. Sadly it was ruined in the last phase when I was using the light purple shade to create dots on the snake. Still trying to get a better grip on the pen.

I also want to try some Mosaic. I was good at Mosaic in school.

I think I can add a bit of shadow and lighting to this image. Will try it next time.
