  1. Questions like these are nice. They aren't specifically looking for an opinion.
  2. These days I'm extremely careful about how I approach the forum. I don't like unnecessary arguments. It distracts me. The problem is that a lot of questions are such that it's hard to not argue. Especially questions where a personal opinion is asked. For example if someone says, let's say a woman that she is stuck in an abusive relationship, my go-to response is to tell her to get out of that relationship, however other people might think it's too early or too sharp of a response. They might feel like I'm encouraging a break up. So it's best to leave such threads. Engage in threads where I don't need to say "don't do this" or "don't do that" but more like "see this is what you can do." that's positive communication. I have realized that people don't like hearing the word "don't"
  3. I like interactions like this or questions like this, because they're benign. They allow me to have an opinion without getting into trouble. The problem with opinions is that you need to have an extremely open environment for them to be accepted without too much fuss. The internet is not a great environment for opinions. Majority of unpopular opinions are immediately shot down. Cancel culture in full force. As much as we want to respect feelings, every perspective should have its place. The only thing that shouldn't a have place is Lies. Today the media is blatantly lying about a lot of things. This will come to a head one day. Right now I'm more focused on making my forum interactions more pleasurable, fun, benign and smooth. With enough social tact and balance of both vagueness and tact. I don't want to be too diplomatic because I don't like how it clashes with my inner values. But at the same time I don't want to be too sharp to the point of condescending. I want a proper balance so I don't appear cold or unempathetic. The best way to achieve this is to be as neutral as possible and keep it short and crisp. No more ranting. A very public forum is a very complex environment. You find it difficult to control emotions. It's important to have a good filter in place to filter threads based on what reactions they're looking for. A good pilot test would be to first look at how I naturally respond to a question or thread, write it down somewhere and then proofread and scan it again to look for obvious mistakes. This way you reduce the tendency to hurt or get hurt. Use non violent communication and as much tact as possible. Don't be too free with emotions. I didn't realize until now that I could be offending someone. When someone said to me they're offended I was a bit surprised honestly. I can't be extremely polite or gentle. It's hard. Feels like a sucker. At the same time I have to think that this is a public forum. Perhaps reputation is a bit important here?
  4. I was saying that you said that Ukraine is a threat to Russia. The user above @vizual said that Ukraine is not a threat to Russia. I actually do see Ukraine as a threat to Russia because.... What is this? How does someone explain this?
  5. You automatically attract people by being social enough. Go out socialize and you'll meet more people the more you do. Simple.
  6. Leave my journal alone. Don't flood it with comments.
  7. Being mindful is imp.
  8. Be ready to take rejections. But after a few rejections (this can be any number), you can eventually meet an interested person and start a relationship. If you are good looking, your chances are even better. You could be holding back because of shyness or fear of rejection. But that's okay. Even girls reject out of fear and shyness. You only have to keep approaching till you find a girl who says yes. Start that chapter now and don't make it late. Fall in love, enjoy life
  9. Human nature is to engage in drinking, partying and eating junk food. Controlling the side of human nature that can get toxic is in your hands. You can't control it completely so having an ordinary crush is okay but if you went off the deep end, it will be problematic for nobody but you.
  10. One excellent way to stay healthy is to not argue with someone who isn't on your level. It's greatly underestimated advice. Today I learned it the harder way.
  11. Every single person on this thread is defending Leo. Your point in singling out me? You're acting as though others aren't defending Leo.
  12. A crush is not a big deal. What is toxic is how attached you are to your crush. To the point that you see them getting married to someone else and it breaks your heart. Unnecessary emotional pain that could have been prevented.
  13. @tsuki What I meant to say is that even if Ukraine wasn't actually a threat, Putin in his mind erroneously believes that Ukraine is a threat. How much of "Ukraine is not a threat" is true I don't know. Because I'm not a Ukrainian so I can't be aware of any Anti-russian sentiment in Ukraine. What if Ukraine came to power and became militarily very powerful and then attacked Russia? (in the absence of the current war). In that case, Putin's decision makes sense to avert a national threat before it becomes a threat. It's like killing the enemy before it gets stronger, like a preemptive move for protection (kill the enemy when it's small, because that is easier and stops it from getting bigger). So maybe he wants to hijack Ukraine before Ukraine can/could do anything to Russia. Information especially military Intel can sometimes be faulty and wrong. But it could be right. If the Russian military Intel has found evidence of anti Russian aggression in Ukraine, then it makes perfect sense why Putin would be alarmed. However this theory is based on mere speculation.
  14. Society needs Psychopaths. Psychopaths are highly intelligent and functional people. They have a complex brain. Psychopaths aren't just someone who commits a crime. Psychopaths are also those who organize like a mafia. This is necessary to take effective decisions during war. If any country becomes Stage Turquoise, it will be destroyed within minutes. Therefore I always used to emphasize that you need stage Red as an armour, if you have a God you always need a godfather. That godfather is a gangster, a psychopath. But magically this same Psychopath is protecting you from other psychopaths. That's why in Hinduism we have Kali and snake. These look intimidating on purpose but their role is protective. We have a concept in Hinduism which means you need evil to defeat evil, poison to beat poison. You cannot beat a psychopath with a Saint. You need another psychopath for the job. It follows from the popular saying - "it takes one to know one."

  18. My foray into stage Orange politics began with this thread. That's why the orange beret
  19. The forum is just a wake up call that places like these aren't safe for the best and wisest of people too.
