  1. At the end of the day I feel like everything is just human perception. And human perceptions are inherently invalid because they are designed around a fake unsupportive illusory human system. If they didn't try to help you, then they don't have the right to judge you either. Things are way better and bigger than human beings. Look at the dinosaurs. They were so mighty. So huge. So big. We are nothing in front of them. There are much bigger things in this world than teeny tiny super important perceptions and judgements. Truly worthy godly creations do not whine and complain and judge but create a better world, they work, they create... It's easy to complain. The ones who are insecure complain and blame. Any person who judges someone suicidal and calls them weak are morons. They can only shame and blame. They don't have the Valor to change things. But godly creations set about working and bring a change. They are humble, they work hard, they show great strength and generosity and they work towards a vision. A godly person would never shame I have so much negative energy that needs to be released.
  2. Somebody has to lose their life in the chaos. There is this constant production of negative energy of entropy that allows nothing to be in order or logic and causes everything to fall out of order and brings mayhem and destruction. This energy creates endless drama of which people become victims. It's more like an anthology of poems describing a series of events that finally brought a fatal end to a person's life.
  3. I like this journal
  4. I wrote this for my short poem Hate is the real enemy Not you not me We don't acknowledge that We are incapable of love But rather accept that it's okay to hate let him who is without sin cast the first stone In God lies true beauty and glory Our glory is nothing We need to be like God (great soul) ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ God knows you. He is the all knower. God doesn't judge you God doesn't hate you God only wants to save you

  6. Do not guilt trip yourself for anything at all
  7. There were some internal debates in my mind that I'm finally able to resolve after a long time One is the debate between matter and spiritual I think both are equally important And the other debate was between talent and role. About superiority and importance. I think everyone has a divine role despite their flaws and lacking.
  8. I worship 3 gods and goddesses and a deity of Christ I haven't abandoned Christianity and I try fusing it with my wiccan concepts. Hecate and Odin and Persephone.
  9. Is matter more important or energy Is steam more important than water Steam can be condensed into water but water is the deliverable form, we don't drink steam, we drink water. Energy is a field. Is force more important than matter.. What is more important, a mountain or a strong gust of wind. This is a complex question. Now when the wind becomes violent it turns into a tornado. The tornado can lift or break even large houses and buildings. But the tornado will need even greater force to lift a still bigger object like a huge building. This question is more like the eternal battle between a tortoise and a rabbit. A rabbit is agile and can run faster but it fell asleep along the way and the tortoise with its mighty determination won the race. Shows the victory of quality over stamina. This again begs the question, of what is to be needed. The answer is both. Stamina without quality is vacuous and will serve no role unless it's put to use. Quality is vacuous without stamina because by itself it cannot achieve, both are lacking something. Stamina needs only a little quality and quality needs only a little stamina and both can succeed. Who wins. It's dependent on how strong the stamina is and how intense the quality is. Both are equally formidable in their intense states. It's like what is stronger, a rock or water. Rock only appears stronger than water because when water falls, it doesn't have the impact a rock has. But now consider the same water falling at torpedo speed. It's water again. Same molecular structure. However when it is imparted such force, it can bring a flood and cause the same devastation as a falling rock. So a rock is formidable by itself but water only becomes formidable when it gains monstrous force. Now in wiccan we have 5 forces. Air water fire Earth ether. Air can be destructive like a tornado or storm. Standalone it's not. It needs a force. Water becomes destructive during a flood. By its nature it appears gentle though Fire when small appears to do nothing. When large it can consume and destroy anything. Earth or a rock appears stable at first. However an asteroid can cause tremendous destruction and so an iceberg or avalanche of ice can cause destruction on a scale unprecedented by either water or air. Ether is spiritual intent. Ether can bring primordial change. It can be powerful in its own way. It can cause transformation or decay. It's a dynamic force. It's more beautiful than any of the four forces because it can get creative and only create what it desires In short, all are powerful in their own ways depending on how strong or intense they can be. It's about quality, structure and intent. All three are equally powerful. One has to remember that a structure is not just a structure but a formation of many years. Thus it carries significance due to the hard work and time put into the making of it. I'd say there are 3 things that I observe here. The force of energy The force of matter The force of intent I will describe these with suitable adjectives The force of matter being " Carnal" The force of water or energy being "Colossal" The force of ether being "ethereal" Carnal, Colossal and Ethereal.

  11. Job 41 1The Lord said to Job: 2“Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him? Let him who accuses God answer him!” 3Then Job answered the Lord: 4“I am unworthy—how can I reply to you? I put my hand over my mouth. 5I spoke once, but I have no answer— twice, but I will say no more.” 6Then the Lord spoke to Job out of the storm: 7“Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me. 8“Would you discredit my justice? Would you condemn me to justify yourself? 9Do you have an arm like God’s, and can your voice thunder like his? 10Then adorn yourself with glory and splendor, and clothe yourself in honor and majesty. 11Unleash the fury of your wrath, look at all who are proud and bring them low, 12look at all who are proud and humble them, crush the wicked where they stand. 13Bury them all in the dust together; shroud their faces in the grave. 14Then I myself will admit to you that your own right hand can save you. 15“Look at Behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox. 16What strength it has in its loins, what power in the muscles of its belly! 17Its tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of its thighs are close-knit. 18Its bones are tubes of bronze, its limbs like rods of iron. 19It ranks first among the works of God, yet its Maker can approach it with his sword. 20The hills bring it their produce, and all the wild animals play nearby. 21Under the lotus plants it lies, hidden among the reeds in the marsh. 22The lotuses conceal it in their shadow; the poplars by the stream surround it. 23A raging river does not alarm it; it is secure, though the Jordan should surge against its mouth. 24Can anyone capture it by the eyes, or trap it and pierce its nose? 1“Can you pull in Leviathan with a fishhook or tie down its tongue with a rope? 2Can you put a cord through its nose or pierce its jaw with a hook? 3Will it keep begging you for mercy? Will it speak to you with gentle words? 4Will it make an agreement with you for you to take it as your slave for life? 5Can you make a pet of it like a bird or put it on a leash for the young women in your house? 6Will traders barter for it? Will they divide it up among the merchants? 7Can you fill its hide with harpoons or its head with fishing spears? 8If you lay a hand on it, you will remember the struggle and never do it again! 9Any hope of subduing it is false; the mere sight of it is overpowering. 10No one is fierce enough to rouse it. Who then is able to stand against me? 11Who has a claim against me that I must pay? Everything under heaven belongs to me. 12“I will not fail to speak of Leviathan’s limbs, its strength and its graceful form. 13Who can strip off its outer coat? Who can penetrate its double coat of armor a ? 14Who dares open the doors of its mouth, ringed about with fearsome teeth? 15Its back has b rows of shields tightly sealed together; 16each is so close to the next that no air can pass between. 17They are joined fast to one another; they cling together and cannot be parted. 18Its snorting throws out flashes of light; its eyes are like the rays of dawn. 19Flames stream from its mouth; sparks of fire shoot out. 20Smoke pours from its nostrils as from a boiling pot over burning reeds. 21Its breath sets coals ablaze, and flames dart from its mouth. 22Strength resides in its neck; dismay goes before it. 23The folds of its flesh are tightly joined; they are firm and immovable. 24Its chest is hard as rock, hard as a lower millstone. 25When it rises up, the mighty are terrified; they retreat before its thrashing. 26The sword that reaches it has no effect, nor does the spear or the dart or the javelin. 27Iron it treats like straw and bronze like rotten wood. 28Arrows do not make it flee; slingstones are like chaff to it. 29A club seems to it but a piece of straw; it laughs at the rattling of the lance. 30Its undersides are jagged potsherds, leaving a trail in the mud like a threshing sledge. 31It makes the depths churn like a boiling caldron and stirs up the sea like a pot of ointment. 32It leaves a glistening wake behind it; one would think the deep had white hair. 33Nothing on earth is its equal— a creature without fear. 34It looks down on all that are haughty; it is king over all that are proud.”

  13. The mistakes I made this week Not handling my bus tickets Keeping wet roses is bad. They catch fungus. There are certain things I'll learn in witchcraft like dos and donts. Not to wear jeans during my classes Not to skip my vitamin d I can use soap bars for the ritual That I shouldn't do the event. It was a lesson learned. It took all my energy Not to order anything from mod Not to throw cake into the drn Not to drink excessive coffee. The effect usually starts at the end of the day. Even tea Lime juices help with sleep Not to eat eggs at night or dinner To exercise a lot Not play around with med time Not to eat too much alkaline Drinking too much milk is also not good. Even cold milk. Eating too much chocolate also causes discomfort and sleeplessness Eat specific breads only Not to befriend a stranger Not to ever eat the flaspo cake
  14. The other thing I discovered today is to radiate positivity in my words, thoughts and actions and carefully choose each one of those no matter how jealous or rude the opponent is. I should just be polite because that way I bring only positivity to myself and stave off negativity By choosing to use positive language and not the language of conflict or tension I only allow positive energy to resolve around me and attract other positive people eventually. Do not engage or entangle your aura or energy with that of someone else and do not let their negativity impact or dent your positive aura.
  15. Love transcends all glory I believe an ideal or idol should be worshipped because it represents an ideal. But that does not mean to hate those who are weak and do not have the power of an ideal personification. It means to grow and become like that but at the same time respect anything that is not like it and have empathy for it Just Odin and hecate are mythological ideals of power, it does not mean to have disdain for those who don't come close to this ideal. Because there is also christ that teaches love and acceptance. However Odin and Hecate represent glory and magnificence, it should be praised but not held on a pedestal to create division. Here the principle would be aim for the best but do not hate or demonize something that is not the best For example a farmer can have the best cows, the best horses but it wouldn't be ideal for him to give up on a cow that is sick and think that it no longer serves his purpose. Glory lies in being glorious but also in appreciating the glory in the smallest most unimportant things. Glory lies in holding power but in also having a heart of gold. So the conclusion really is to have an ideal but at the same time have the openness to appreciate the good in everything. After all everything worthwhile or worthless has a divine role no matter what worth is placed by the human perception.
  16. This was so inspiring especially the last words. via Imgflip Meme Generator If it seemed like Michelle Williams was gushing about working on Fosse/Verdon while accepting her Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series, she was. She was also setting up a larger argument, one which basically boils down to: Studios, treat every actress the way FX treats Michelle Williams. “I see this as an acknowledgement of what is possible when a woman is trusted to discern her own needs, feels safe enough to voice them, and respected enough that they’ll be heard,” she said. “When I asked for my dance classes, I heard ‘yes.’ When I asked for more voice lessons, I heard ‘yes.’ A different wig, a pair of teeth not made out of rubber, ‘yes.’ All these things, they require effort and they cost more money, but my bosses never presumed to know better than I did about what I needed to do my job and to honor Gwen Verdon.” Said Williams, “Thank you, FX and to Fox 21 Studios, for supporting me completely and paying me equally.” With that in mind, Williams pointed to the discrepancy between how the Michelle Williams of Hollywood are treated, both on set and in their paycheck, compared to performers of color, specifically black actresses. “Next time a woman, and especially a woman of color, because she stands to make 52 cents on the dollar compared to her white male counterpart, tells you what she needs in order to do her job, listen to her. Believe her, because one day she might stand in front of you and say ‘thank you’ for allowing her to succeed because of her workplace environment, not in spite of it.”
  17. I have come to a very important conclusion in my spiritual journey and Christ helped me a lot in this The heart is precious. The quality of the heart. A good heart makes everything golden.. There is a divine role for each one of us that the divine force of the universe or God decides and this is regardless of a person's looks, talents, abilities. You could have the ability and still not serve the role because the divine is not inside you. There are several transitions between life and death and once again life and death before we get united with the divine Oneness is the final goal. There is only one good heart or soul in the universe, it's christ like. That one heart can have multiple copies spread out in different races and cultures and religions. But the oneness remains the same. A good person behaves the same way anywhere everywhere. The goal should be to achieve this oneness. Real beauty lies in becoming one with this oneness and experiencing and you feel true joy once you become one with that oneness of the universe because you are one with the kindred spirit. In it lies true love and true glory, greatness and peace. In the primordial, there was glory. The evil descended and tried destroying it. The whales swimmed majestically. The manta glided in full glory. The dolphins galloped around joyfully. And then came a piranha from under the ground onto the sand and popped itself into the ocean waves. They grew in number and had beastly fangs. Really ugly looking and a parasitic demeanor. They exploited, created chaos and chewed into every fish. Fishes swimming helter skelter and some half dead and dying and the ocean waters smell of blood. The whales turn and move around in despair as the piranhas chew their skin and cause them to die. The whales moan in pain and the sounds are heard from a distance in the mountains. The gannets hear them and start flying wildly over the ocean. They plunge into the waters and hunt the piranhas. The piranhas turn dead on the shore flapping their fins as they take their last breaths. The deals swirl around in circles while in the distance a volcano is erupting. It's a herald for celebration. The dolphins come again, the whales begin their majestic swim and the manta glides over the rocks. Peace, glory and greatness has been restored again
  18. Things I learned in witchcraft The Battle is yours Demonization is used as a weapon in this world and a big army is created of demonizers who are deluded into believing that they are saving the world. In reality they destroy the good and the strong. Our duty is not to protect the world but to protect ourselves from the world. It's important to respect and protect nature. Nature is innocent. The birds came and saved the gents from the jaws. Odin is a symbol of a powerful male that fulfills a woman forever. Once she finds him she breaks the cycle of toxic relationships. A woman who hasn't found him remains compromised with her needs and accepts regular water as good enough. But Odin is spring water. Once tasted and consumed, the heart reaches fulfillment on a permanent level and stops living in dissatisfaction and relentless searching ends. Restlessness ends. Life is a game of hopping from one tree stump to the next meanwhile escaping the arrows of the world and reaching the intended target or destination to safety. Like Jurassic Park.

  20. Number 7 How to use cauldron in witchcraft Cauldron is used for burning herbs. Can be made of cast iron or brass. Use a self igniting charcoal disc to lit fire to herbs or simply put hay or paper and put on fire and then add herbs. Make sure to close it to stop the fumes and place cauldron on stand to stop discoloration of surfaces. Most often a cauldron is made of cast iron and is used to burn loose incense on a charcoal disc, to make black salt (used in banishing rituals), for mixing herbs, or to burn petitions (paper with words of power or wishes written on them). Decide on what kind of magic you plan on doing with your cauldron. If you want to do mostly incense cones and paper burning, a smaller cauldron might be the perfect size. If you love brewing magical teas and potions, maybe try a larger one. Ways to Use your Cauldron Burn Incense in Your Cauldron Burn loose incense herbs with charcoal discs positioned in the middle of your cauldron. Incense cones are extremely simple to use with a cauldron as well. Set the cone inside your cauldron and light the tip. If you have incense sticks, light the end and let the smoking end rest gently at the bottom of your cauldron. For all these incense burning options, you can leave your cauldron in one place (like your altar) to burn or hold your cauldron by the handle and go from room to room for smoke cleansing rituals. Because incense smoke can be very strong, make sure you properly ventilate the area and do not light incense around children or pets who might be sensitive to smoke. Collect Moon Water Set your cauldron out on a rainy night to gather rainwater. Note what phase the moon is in that night so you know what moon phase energy that water is charged with. Pour the water into a jar and store it until you need it for a spell. Dry your cauldron completely after this process to prevent rust. Don’t leave your cauldron out for multiple nights even in dry weather. Extended exposure to even a small amount of humidity can cause your cauldron to rust. Scrying with Your Cauldron Take the moon water you’ve collected in your cauldron and use it as a “scrying mirror”. You can also use water from a flowing spring, ocean water, or water charged with crystals to promote psychic abilities like amethyst or bloodstone. Oil Reed Diffuser What You’ll Need: 1/4 Cup Safflower Oil Two Tablespoons of Vodka Fifteen to Twenty Drops of Essential Oil Seven to Ten Reed Sticks Combine safflower oil, vodka and essential oil in your cauldron. Like with all magic, focus on your intention as you do this. You can experiment with different combinations of essentials oils to suit whatever spell you’re performing. Stir up the mixture with one of your reeds. Place the lid of you cauldron so there is only a sliver of an opening. Position your reeds in the sliver, fanning them out along the narrow opening. Flip the reeds every day or so until the oil mixture has evaporated. Cauldron Tea Boil magical herbs in your cauldron to create a powerful tea or elixir. You can add loose herbs into your water and heat up the cauldron. If you are making tea to drink, make sure your cauldron is cast iron and that it's totally clean. Otherwise, you run the risk of ingesting something harmful that was left over from a previous spell. If you have a small cauldron, a tea light candle under your cauldron will do the trick. If your cauldron is larger and you want to work outdoors, dig a hole under your cauldron and build a small fire with sticks and bits of wood. If you choose to go this route, have a bucket of water or fire extinguisher nearby in case of an emergency. Fire is a wonderful element to bring to your magic, but it can be highly dangerous. Always exercise caution when working with fire. Cauldron Oil Diffuser Pour 1/3 cup of water into your cauldron and add four to six drops of essential oil. Place a tea light under your cauldron and enjoy the subtle scents of your essential oils filling your witchy space. If your tea light burns down, light another one! Just make sure to extinguish your candle once you’re through. This is a perfect way to set the mood before pulling tarot cards, journaling or performing a spell. Make sure to clean your cauldron well after using it with essential oils! Buried Cauldron Spells For Cleansing If there’s something you need to cleanse, place it in your cauldron with the lid and bury it in the earth for a few hours. The cauldron will protect it from the elements while it’s submerged. I’ve done this with bottles of essential oil, crystals, candles, necklaces, altar cloths, rune stones, and rings. For Manifesting You can also place journal entries describing things you’re working to manifest in your life into your cauldron and bury it. The earth energy will take your hopes and dreams from the air (your mind) and bring them into the physical world. Make sure not to leave your cauldron buried for too long, remember exposure to moisture can cause rust! Cauldron Wishing Spell Similar to the above manifesting spell, write down your wishes onto paper, parchment or bay leaves and burn them over your cauldron. Watch the smoke send your desires right up into the abundant, limitless universe. Cauldron Candle Spells Line your cauldron with foil and perform a candle spell right inside. Your cauldron is a perfect fireproof container, and the foil will make for easy cleanup once the candle has burned out completely. Depending on the size of your cauldron, you can use a variety of different sized candles. Try melting the bottom of a birthday candle to make it stand upright in your cauldron. Mount several candles in your cauldron to make different shapes like a pentacle or square. Pillar or votive candles always work well in a cauldron. Remember to NEVER leave a lit candle unattended, even in a cauldron.
  21. Cleansing can be such a versatile tool in the craft, getting rid of everything from bad energy, to spirits, to curses, hexes, and more.
  22. ?????? 6 How to use tea in witchcraft via Imgflip Meme Generator via Imgflip Meme Generator Sometimes, the simplest acts can work potent magic when done with the correct intent and attention. A doodle on a notebook can double as a sigil, lighting a candle can serve as a spell, and brewing the right cup of tea can be witchcraft incognito. This innocuous form of magic is a prime example of how a little ingenuity can squeeze magic out of the most mundane daily rituals. Witchcraft worked with tea is both discreet, allowing you to work magic comfortably in any environment, and accessible to almost everyone. There are a ton of ways to use tea in your witchcraft, from divination to casting spells, to adding a magical oomph to crafts, altar work, and more. Here are some of the most common ways to practice the craft using tea. Tea Leaf Reading This is easily the first place everyone's mind goes when it comes to witchcraft and tea. Reading tea leaves, or tasseography is a form of divination done by interpreting the patterns of tea leaves left in a teacup after the tea has been drunk. This form of divination dates all the way back to the 17th century shortly after the introduction of tea to Europe. Some diviners use specialized teacups for reading tea leaves but you can read tea leaves just as easily with a regular teacup from your cupboard. Just don’t go using a coffee mug as the shape makes reading the leaves quite difficult! Reading tea leaves is a fairly simple process. Add your loose tea leaves to the teacup and pour hot water into the cup. Allow the tea to brew to your liking and enjoy it as you normally would. Some diviners say that the tea should be taken without milk or sugar but I don’t find that these things alter my results much. Next, place a napkin on the saucer and when you’re finished drinking your tea, swirl the cup 3 times and turn it upside down on the saucer. Make sure that you have only dregs left when you do this, enough liquid that the tea leaves can move but not so much that the leaves will drain right out of the cup when it’s upturned. It can take a bit of practice to figure this part out but it isn’t terribly difficult once you’ve developed an eye for it. Now you can turn the cup right side up and interpret the shapes and symbols left in the tea leaves! There are many ways to analyze the leaves left in your cup and everything from the direction your cup handle is facing to the height of the leaves on the side of the cup can influence an interpretation. If this form of divination interests you, I would suggest picking up a book on tea leaf reading that contains an explanation of the various ways to interpret your cup and an extensive symbol dictionary. Crafting Your Own Tea Blends Pre-made tea blends are typically designed with taste in mind but you can craft your own tea blend with a more magical purpose. Combining herbs for their magical properties and brewing them into teas allows you to create homemade potions and spells with ease. You can even build a repertoire of magic herbal tea recipes that you can use to quickly and easily case a wide variety of spells. Here are a few of my favorite herbs and spices to use as well as a few of my own tea spells. Chamomile - Healing, attracts abundance and opens the energy to be more receptive. Rose hips - Very healing, draws good luck Ginger - Draws success, prosperity, confidence, sensuality, and a sense of adventure. Orange peel - Draws luck and money Cardamom - Good for love, lust, and keeping a lover faithful Dandelion root - Good for dream magic, divination, and spirit work Ginseng - Used for love, beauty, and protection Hibiscus - Used for attracting love, divination, and dream magic Honeysuckle - Draws prosperity and quick abundance Lemongrass - Cleansing and psychic opening Lemon - Cleansing and removing energetic blockages Bergamot - Protection from evil and illness, stops magical interference Protection & Cleansing Tea 1 pt bergamot 1 pt black tea 1 squeeze of lemon (note: this is essentially just earl grey tea with lemon which is why I LOVE this blend for quick cleansing) Love Drawing Tea 1 pt hibiscus 1 pt ginger 1 pt ginseng Quick Luck 1 pt orange peel 1 pt rose hips 1 pt chamomile Adding Magical Tea In Other Parts Of Your Life As much as I’m sure many of us love drinking tea, there are also people out there who are decidedly NOT tea drinkers. For those of you who cringe at the thought of sipping on a mug of hot leaf water, there are still ways you can incorporate these kinds of herbal infusions into your craft. Use tea as a base for recipes Does your recipe call for water? You can substitute a weakly brewed tea for water in many cases without affecting the taste of the food overmuch. If the food you’re cooking is particularly light flavored, you can even use a cold infusion. Simply place your herbs into the desired amount of water in your fridge for an hour. This allows the energy of the plants to infuse the water without imparting too much of the taste. Cold infusion is actually the ideal way to extract the greatest amount of plant energy from your botanicals since cool or cold water is able to accept more energy than warm or hot water. Be warned though! Stronger tasting ingredients like ginger and citrus will likely come through in the flavor of the water despite cold steeping. If you want your infusion to still basically taste like water it’s best to avoid these more intense ingredients. Adding tea to baths Using teas in cleansing baths is a perfect way to add magic to your self-care routine! You can use a cold or hot infusion for this method and incorporate herbs that you might not normally put together due to taste conflicts. Since you’ll be soaking in this tea rather than drinking it, it won’t matter what it tastes like! For baths, I recommend brewing up a fairly large amount of tea, typically I use about 8 cups of boiling water and 1/2 - 1 cup of herbs. I let the herbs steep until the water is a comfortable temperature (20-30 minutes depending on the time of year) and then add it to my bath water. Using tea at the altar There are many ways to use tea on your altar, using tea as an offering is a simple and very homey way to show respect to a spirit or deity. Choose herbs that your particular being prefers and brew up a cup for them once or twice a week. If you like to be sociable with them, you can even brew a cup for yourself as well and have tea with them! This can be a lovely way to build familiarity and closeness with the important spirits in your life. Keep in mind though, that not every spirit will want tea! I’ve had spirits who, on the offer of tea stated that they’d rather have a spot of whiskey or some of my dinner. It’s also a good idea to be sure you know how the spirit takes their tea. You wouldn’t serve tea to a friend without offering sugar or cream and it’s polite to offer the same to your spirit friends too. The other way I like to use tea on my altar is for scrying. Scrying with plain water is a fairly common method of divination but it is quite possible to scry with other liquids as well. If I have a subject that I would particularly like to focus my scrying on I’ll brew up a tea with herbs relating to that intention and use the tea in my black scrying bowl instead of water. Be careful what herbs you choose however since certain herbs with particularly potent energies may skew the messages you receive. Try to stick with botanicals that have lighter and more general energies. via Imgflip Meme Generator I love your tea recipes. I'm starting to try my hand at some of my own. I love using herbals in my baths after work (I'm a bartender and pick up a lot of extra energy gunk), but when I'm not sure if my herbs are food quality, I put them into a coffee filter and tie it up with a small rubber band and throw it right in the bath water with me. It's been great after work, before bed.

When I am on the beach, I spent countless hours looking for them. To my eyes, they are precious gifts from Mother Ocean. But, once you find seashells that you love, what can you do with them? In this post, you will learn 10 ways to use seashells in witchcraft. You will notice that they are very similar to crystals. 1. Use seashells to replace witchcraft tools. For instance, you probably already know that abalone shells are widely used to retain the ashes from smudging. They are great incense holders since they are thick and pierced with holes. Additionally, you can use clams, scallops and cockles for offering bowls, chalices and candleholders 2. Use seashells to represent the elements. In Sea Witchery, specific types of seashells are associated with specific elements. So, if you want to make a change, you can use seashells instead of the traditional representations of the elements. Follow the list below for a quick start. Seashells Elemental Correspondences Water (West): any shell filled with water. Earth (North): dark colored moon shell, sand dollar, starfish. Air (East): yellow or pink scallop, jingle shells, abalone. Fire (South): red shell, white clam shell. Of course, those are only guidelines: always follow your intuition before everything else. 3. Incorporate seashells into your tools. Instead of using seashells as tools, you can incorporate them into your tools. Glue them to your scrying mirror or to the handle of your athame and wand. Use small seashells pierced with holes as praying beads. Ornate chests and boxes with them. Or make a seashell crown to wear during rituals. If you’re a crafty witch, the possibilities are endless! 4. Meditate with seashells. Seashells are like crystals. Meditating with them is a very beneficial practice. It will enhance your connection with Mother Ocean and replenish your energy levels. Here’s how to do it. A Simple Seashell Meditation Start by selecting a seashell. Use one that has calming properties such as a cockle, an angel wing or a clam. Sit in front of your altar. Create a Sacred Circle if you need it. Light a candle. Hold the seashell in your two hands and close your eyes. Breathe deeply. Every time you inhale, imagine a big oceanic wave flowing through you, from your feet to your head. Then, with each exhalation, the wave is flowing back, from your head to your toes. Do this exercise until you feel calm and grounded. When you are ready, concentrate on your seashell’s properties (for a a cockle, it would be balance and love). Breathe in these qualities. Feel them in your heart. Visualise them as a white light emanating from your hands and surrounding all your body. Do not force anything: just let the sensation come and go. When it starts to fade, end your meditation session. Do it in the same way that you started it. Write your experience in your Book of Shadows or journal. 5. Make a seashells offering. I believe that the best offerings are the ones that we value the most. A seashell that you have found during your vacations is infused with good memories and intentions: that makes it a great offering. First, choose an appropriate entity. It can be the Universe, or Mother Ocean; but if you choose a specific deity, spirit or ancestor, make sure that they are related to seashells in some way. Next, charge your offering with intention. Hold it into your hands and say a simple prayer to dedicate it to your chosen deity. Place it on your altar or leave it in a place of nature. 6. Put seashells in your bath. Taking a ritual bath is an easy way to purify your aura from all negativity. Add seashells to any spiritual bath recipe for an extra soothing energy. Otherwise, if you just want to connect with the ocean, simply put seashells along with your favorite bath salts in the water. Don’t forget to clean your shells from any dust and sand beforehand. 7. Use seashells in spells. You can use seashells as ingredients for your amulets, talismans, jar spells, elixirs, herbal pouches and such. Here are a few ideas. Place small seashells into spell bottles. At the full moon, put them overnight in a bowl water along with your crystals to make moon water. Add them to your favorite herbal or crystal magick recipes to reinforce their power. If you have the appropriate tools, grind them and add them to your powders. Write a sigil on a seashell and wear it as an amulet. The key is to treat them just like all magickal ingredients. Select them according to their properties and charge them before adding them to your spells. For more information about the properties of seashells, refer to Sea Magic by Sandra Kynes. 8. Make seashell grids. I already wrote that seashells are very similar to crystals. Both are gifts from nature made of minerals. They both have healing properties. Just like crystals, seashells can store energy and intentions. A seashell’s structure also corresponds to the principles of sacred geometry. So it makes sense to use them in grids, just like we do with crystals. Here is a very brief guide on how to make a seashell grid. How to make a seashell grid First, set your intention. What do you want to attract in your life? Next, choose a geometric shape according to your need (pentagram, circle, triquetra, flower of life, etc.). Select the seashells according to their properties. I recommend using multiple seashells of the same type. Print the geometric shape on paper or use a crystal grid cloth. Place the shells on the intersections of each line and perform a ritual to charge and activate the grid. 9. Perform seashell divination Seashells can also be used for divination. Here are a few ways to include them in your practice: Cowry shells: The Diloggun and the Obbi are two ancient divination systems coming from the Yoruba, a people of West Africa. The two systems use cowries that have been cut. The idea is to throw them on a flat surface and to interpret how they landed. You can buy precut cowry shells or gather and cut them by yourself. Learn how to practice cowry divination here. Rune shells: You can use seashells to make a set of divination runes such as the Norse Elder Futhark, the Celtic Ogham or the Witch’s Runes. Buy a premade set on Etsy or make your own. Simple seashells draw: Here is a simpler way to practice seashell divination. Put a selection of different seashells in a bag. Ask a question and draw a shell out without looking. Interpret the answer according to the shell’s properties. It’s another thing that is usually done with crystals. 10. Let them be. Seashells have a way of simply being there. You don’t always need to do something with them to feel their energy. Just like crystals, simply placing them at strategic places can infuse a room with a calm, soothing atmosphere. Summary Just like herbs, crystals and oils, seashells are gifts of nature. But sadly, they are underestimated and underused in witchcraft. As you can see, there are a lot of ways to use them: all you need is imagination. They should not be merely used for decoration. We should give them the place that they deserve in our witch’s apothecary.
