  6. Ayahuasca has helped me a lot. It's the only thing I have tried so far and it's cool. I get beautiful images in mind while tripping on it and I always get a sense of Bliss. Sometimes I cry on it.. This is how I feel on ayahuasca.

  9. This therapist is too tied to society's defenition of self worth, that's obviously not going to work for someone like you. Take in advice that's good for you and then do what you have to do. Self esteem is essential for survival like water. You can obviously upgrade yourself to feel better. But there is always a FOUNDATIONAL SELF ESTEEM, a sense of self worth you hold even in the most terrible disparaging situations of life. A psychologist can't help you with that. A doctor can place a pacemaker machine in your heart to make the heart beat. He can't give you the will to live life. That's just how the medical field is. They are good but they are not motivational or inspiring For inspiration you have to look at the common man's struggles and triumphs and realize that you also have your own mountains to climb.

  13. American politics is really in a deep state of chaos and downturn. A lot of it is invested in money. Heavily rigged. A political revolution is needed to branch out of it. Currently none of the candidates are admirable. The picture is dismal to the point that a hope for a powerful authentic president is lost. America is politically in a crisis because both parties are invested in regenerating a vote Bank rather than solve issues. The whole election process is not completely fair. Even a small mistake from a candidate is victory for another. It's like a toss game, the outcome highly unpredictable, not in the best interests of the public, involvement of multiple third parties that totally interfere the outcome of the entire election. Good candidates drop out of frustration. Bad candidates might have more campaign money. American elections and politics is at the climax of hopelessness. They to reinvent the entire process constitutionally and make it fair, objective, transparent and functional for the government to sustain under its weight.
  14. When you learn that even the basic freedoms are curtailed within a cult you have to learn to find those freedoms in whatever manner. Also the other aspect of a cult is that you feel trapped and you feel demotivated, lack of motivation.... You Might even begin to suffer depression as a result of the cult. Important to get back that motivation..

You need Basic survival Hope Patience Strength Determination Perseverance Adaptibility Smartness Pre emptive thinking Survival guide Tolerance and endurance Intactness Insight Therapy for avoiding and preventing personality changes and preventing brainwashing Keeping your natural self as strong and undeterred or unimpacted as possible Escape and freedom strategies When you are surrounded by bullies and haters, you are not allowed to be your natural self.
  17. Trajectory based thinking This is my new concept for this week. It means you look at your life in a broader higher level way. The bird's eye view of your life. The encapsulation of the general assessment of your life. I will call it trajectory based thinking because sometimes during insight meditation you need to focus on the overall trajectory of your life and see where it's going. If the natural trajectory is going towards a degradative state, then hold back and make conscious effort to change this trajectory with your own persistence
  18. Meditation feels like I'm accessing a different state a new state of consciousness and a better one. Albeit at a much slower rate than psychedelics Whereas staying in the present moment makes me more calm headed, less anxious, less worrying and more focused, less scattered and more grounded. When you are in trapped circumstances you need more power to survive through it, to make the best out of it and to escape it and finally walk to freedom It feels like a cult as long as you are in it.   22. This post inspires me to meditate more. Life seems worse after meditating, how to overcome this obstacle? Started by moon777light, 3 hours ago Reply to this topic 8 posts in this topic moon777light Topic Starter Member 1,019 posts Posted 3 hours ago · I have now realized exactly why i meditate consistently for a few months then stop cold turkey until i pick it up again a few months later. I start feeling overwhelming anxiety and fear and i have a hunch that things start going worse when i meditate instead of better. I couldnt get a notion of why, why does this always happen until today i randomly listened to an esther hicks talk which covers this. She said that when people start meditating they always go to her asking why does it seem that all hell breaks lose in my life when i start this practice? And according to her its because when you meditate, you "calibrate" yourself to Source, to Who you Really Are, your divine self. Because of this, when you are in situations where you calibrate to who you are NOT (lets say negative emotions), you notice it 10x more intense than it was before. Apparently it didnt get worse, the negative emotion is always the same, it just seems worse because youve now accessed extremely positive emotions/vibrations in meditation. I find that this is likely what is going on with me, i feel anxiety soo much worse than it ever was before. How do i overcome this obstacle? Halp.
