This point I absolutely agree with. I agree with a lot of what she says in terms of black on black crime. But I don't agree that the welfare should be stopped. Because historically black people have been marginalized and given the poverty they will hardly have an opportunity to get out of it or progress at the rate required so the welfare is very much needed for black people, saying that people are completely responsible for their own outcome is Unempathetic and refusing to help where help is needed. Also schools in black neighborhoods need higher investment so that black kids get better opportunities for their future. -

@Epikur I do agree with her whole video though. She makes a lot of clearly elucidated points -

Now I'm not a black person so I don't want you to make it look like I'm taking shots at black people because I don't want to, that's why I asked you first. But she makes a lot of good points that George Floyd wasn't an upstanding citizen. Now these are the points she makes that I agree with Below are her sentences that I agree with She doesn't support George Floyd She says that the black community is the only community that fights for justice for those in the community that are up to no good. White Americans aren't uplifting Derek Chauvin She agrees what Derek did was wrong She has a problem that George Floyd is being called an amazing human being. She believes in second chances but she says he had a really long record She lists his entire crime record that's about a decade long. I. 2005 he arrested for cocaine In 2007 he was arrested for pointing a gun at the stomach of a pregnant black woman and looting her wallet and home. For which he received 5 years in prison. She doesn't believe that police brutality is racially motivated. According to her research, as a violent white criminal you'd have a 25% higher chance of dying unlawfully at the hands of the police. Black men who are 6% of the population account for 44% of the murders in the country. According to 2018 stats. She says it's election fodder and it's made white versus black by the media because it's election year She believes that black people are fed lies about police brutality being all about racism She doesn't want black people to martyr people with long criminal record and be heralded as upstanding human beings just because those people were victims -

@Consept do you agree with the black woman in this video or you think she is wrong? Tell me why you think she is wrong if you do, and if you think she is right what points do you agree with? -

Wow, that was extremely beautiful. That guy speaks from the soul. Very beautiful and wonderful. Glad you shared it. That's what I meant. That's exactly how love looks like in my eyes. Love put into action and words. Very inspiring words. If love wasn't inspiring, it wouldn't come God. I liked it a lot. Here's another example of love in action. -

@Leo Gura if your love is strong and meta, wouldn't it be your duty to unite the world and remove their fear and free them of their selfishness? Whats the practical purpose of your love? -

You mean you love the world and allow the division to continue? Didn't get this. -

@Raphael Nobody is being biased here. It's you projecting your bias on others and then acting like they did something to you. You are trying to make a whole community look bad simply because you had some bitter experiences with some people. Maybe try not bringing up other people into your discussions who didn't even refer to you in anyway. The discussion was between me and @Dutch guy and it was pretty friendly discussion. But you had to come in between and make it me versus him.. Now you're trying to draw the sympathy card because we both reacted. Then maybe don't attack us negatively if you can't handle reactions. I don't wish to engage your point any further. You take people out of context. Leave me out of your discussions if you don't know how to respect the person you are talking about. -

Why are you trying to make it look like someone being racist to white people here. Only points are being said. I or others are not being racist to anyone. I'm just saying facts. Don't turn it into me versus them. If you faced some racism from Indians, maybe you were racist to them as well, just like you are trying to make me look ugly here. Don't try to change the tone of the discussion by simply putting words. I was making a point, I wasn't saying someone was bad or good. A lot of my friends are white as well as other races. I'm not racist to anyone, and @Dutch guy is a good guy. So don't try to create hate between me and him. I usually don't like to engage you but you referenced me so I had to. Stop bringing me into your discussions if you have to deliberately change the context of my post or take my words out of context to make me look like a racist. -

Because we are all one. All parts of the same whole -

In that case and by that logic, even you're a story and you should forget every story including yours. (Calling something a story is a very clever attempt at deflection) -

There's one solution. To stop paying attention to stereotypes and consider everyone equal. Some people will do insane things. But the main message remains the same. Call for equality and an end to cop abuse of power. -

@Dutch guy So when refugees come to your country, you turn them away? So what happens when your country is in trouble and needs help or a person from your country needs help in a minority country. What if they don't help Humanity doesn't work like this. We need to be an embodiment of the Christ message. We need to be one. By such divisions we cannot become one. The truth is that people want to become one. But the political parties for their own gain don't allow that and create identity politics for getting votes In reality getting along is not that difficult. And if you think that there is a problem of crime with minorities then only put those people in prison who have committed a crime. The entire community need not be stereotyped. Real spiritual growth is literally impossible without integrating everyone into a whole. How can you be stage Turquoise or even want humanity to reach stage Turquoise if you think that others shouldn't be a part of you. Spirituality at the highest level is non duality where everyone becomes one and every sentient being is unified into a whole There is no point in doing spirituality if it has to divide and not unite. All of the spirituality that you do is hogwash if you couldn't put it into practice. All these problems that you see now are temporary. In the course of unification, there is Collision, on collision there is impact scatter and damage. Some loss and problems will happen during such collisions. This is the nature of phenomenon. Once the collision is complete there will be fusion and integration and finally unification All of this will take time.. No 2 cultures can fully integrate without problems during Collision phase unless they are very similar and hence don't even need integration to begin with. But when opposite forces collide, there is tension and friction but eventually a state of fusion is reached. Because humanity only wants good. If you are going to be on a spiritual path in life, you will need to get rid of these divisions in your mind. This is no spiritual bypassing but spirituality means unconditional love and acceptance and Oneness. You can't talk about the absolute by fragmenting people into parts.. You can admire them for their uniqueness but you can't push them away. By pushing them, you are pushing away a part of your own self. This is the truth that is even reflected in the Bible. I adopted Christianity because Christianity believes in the unity of humanity. Love thy neighbor as thyself. I came across this after going through intense process of pain and realization of suffering in the world. I realized that the message in the Bible is not hogwash or impractical but its an ethic that we don't follow as humanity. People who say they are spiritual and are still dividing humanity into categories that are to be separated are eventually hypocrites and their spirituality is nothing more than a self serving yoga exercise to make their body look better and improve their health, there is nothing spiritual in it, just a regular self care exercise for benefit of the self and survival of the ego. True spirituality lies in non duality, it does not entail selfishness but selflessness. It's letting the ego dissolve and the ego is the biggest evil that divides humanity.. Spirituality lies in love. Love is selfless. -

@Dutch guy First blame the minorities for all the problems in the society. Then allow racism to persist so minorities find it difficult to be accepted and integrated into the culture. Then when minorities fight for getting accepted and treated equal, turn a deaf ear. Then come back and blame the same minorities for not being able to successfully integrate. -

@Dutch guy this is almost like saying slavery can never become zero. You don't understand the concept of civil rights movements. It's out of your scope. You think that society stays constant. No it doesn't. It's always changing -

@Dutch guy these protests are not forever. You're making a moutain out of a molehill. You don't even care about the sufferings of minorities, only care about yourself. Minorities are fighting for their rights and nothing wrong with it. If your survival was at threat you would protest too. -
Preety_India replied to intotheblack's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Dutch guy your country becomes poor when your economy breaks down not because of minority protests. You don't have a single clue how politics works. You live in a theoretical right wing world -
Preety_India replied to intotheblack's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Dutch guy no country becomes poor because of minorities. Are you kidding me? Rich countries go piggyback riding on the backs of the third world countries. The jeans that people in the United States wear is available to Americans at a lower price because some poor person in Bangladesh is working in horrible condition in a poor factory to produce it and gets peanuts in return to barely survive because these countries don't give a f about minimum wage or quality survival. So people get to save their money in rich countries because of cheap labor from poor countries. Corporations are hungry and salivating to get software engineers from China and India, they have special visa sponsorship programs in my country so that these big fat elite companies owned by the elite in the United States get to make billions of turnover profits by paying peanuts to Indians and Chinese and making them work like donkeys and horses with no benefits, also sending them back home when their job is done. Then Americans get to enjoy these software products at a low price by making them with cheap labor.. That's why people like Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg want immigration so badly and that's why all the elite support the Democrats because the Dems are lobbied to keep the immigration going on to impress the elite. All your rich handbags and jewelry and diamonds are created by poor hands. USA has a huge interest in the Middle East, not because they want peace, but they want Oil.... Haha big surprise. So be careful when you say that your countries become poor by minorities. No minorities don't get shit, maybe some government privilege like basic housing, they don't even get insurance. Maximum people without insurance in America are minorities. Minorities don't even get loans. They have to live in despicable conditions to send money back home to their families. Minorities live in ghettos not in rich neighborhoods in the middle of New York. Your countries majorly remain rich because of exploitation. Because if you exported stuff to other countries at the dollar rate in your country, with labor used by your countrymen who demand high wage and good benefits, then nobody gonna buy your product because no country can afford it at that rate Everything that a rich country does , it does to remain in the race, to keep other countries poor and keep itself rich. No country amasses wealth by honest means. Money doesn't work like that. Only few people become rich by honest means. Rest is filthy money. No country invites minorities to welcome economic trouble. There's always an agenda. The country also benefits. And if you hate minorities so much, tell your rich countries to stop bombing poor countries to steal their resources. That would be a good start. Also rich countries like the US send billion dollars to Israel in the name of military aid, who doesn't need it and this doesn't go to poor country like Africa. So everything is politics. Be careful how you demonize minorities. -
