I like to make up some concepts which I then use in my visualization practice. One concept that came up this morning was using a magic chemical since I deal with alchemy. A magic chemical that instantly promotes calm. I will call this chemical akemhyvoid. I want this chemical to look like water and be organic with some herbs and vitamins infused in it. I tried googling and came across a brand called Sunsweet selling herbal water. Not only are the bottles beautiful and perfect for what I had in mind but they also had these nice labels for each bottle like focusing and energizing This is how they look. This is an awesome find for me I would love to order these. Focusing - ginger Energizing - green tea Calming - mint and lavender Replenishing - dragon fruit and hibiscus

I finished laundry and some of my trading work. Had a productive day.. Pretty much. Just want some nice music, dance, some juice and some rest. I just want some real entertainment. I want me some cold coke. I just want to collapse into tiredness. Life can be so hard. I wish I don't have to do any work any more. So tired.

The women from Gods belong to men who can love them unconditionally and not to any random pervert who is only seeking the flesh

I ordered a vegan cake this morning. Love those oreos. Told Andrew about it. Then he began to say some sexy jokes lol. I said to him that I'm such a cake addict. And that the cake is melting in my mouth. And he said that it's his dick that will melt in my mouth. That I am addicted to his cock more than the cake. He can say such sexy things to me. But this cake is awesome. Melts in my mouth. Already ate half of it.

To Preety, Understand that you wanting people to be as you is also a kind of selfishness Yes what they do or say is wrong. Yes what opinion they hold is wrong. Yes they are toxic. But baby they are here to stay. You have to love them in their form. You have to love hate. This might sound a bit like spiritual bypassing. But sometimes it's important to integrate something that you don't own. Something you can't let happen, certain things are difficult to accept and this is one of those things I see a lot of racism in the world. I see it in YouTube videos. I'm appalled to see hate. Hate from any race. When I see hate, I don't understand it. Because I have been in interracial relationships, so hating a race doesn't make sense to me I've had my own experiences with racism, in 2017 with a Croatian guy. But the thing is, it's okay, it's okay. It hurts in the beginning and you feel why you are being isolated. It's only a bias in their mind about you. What you need to know that you can rise above them. You can do better. Teach them better And if they don't learn, it's their karma. Their problem not yours Racism is nothing but selfishness like any other form of shallow greed Whats important is the person you meet regardless of their race.. I always had an open mind to different races. I never looked down on someone or pigeonhole a person. I have seen people giving different treatments to different people. It's all self bias. When you are free of self bias, you are free of your own demons

To Preety You have to understand this beforehand that your psyche is made to develop in a wholesome manner. So when you witness something that doesn't look or sound wholesome it's gonna bother you a bit. But in the end you need to integrate it somewhere into you. You have to understand that these are humans too. Even if they think like that. Now how to love them. Now that's another story. Try to see the good in them.

How to reconcile toxic people. Like just don't let it get to you. I'm feminine and I cannot stand violence.. I cannot imagine how violence is even justified in this world.

@Serotoninluv Lmao you guys have a problem with squirrels. While I sit here impatiently waiting for a squirrel to show up at my window. They are the cutest and funniest creatures in the world. I would welcome them in my home. Sadly they are difficult to catch. I would pet a squirrel. And you're thinking about tasing a squirrel. Too bad.. Squirrels are lovely. -

I don't need a taser. I'm okay with my little pepper spray in my purse. -

@Raze @Leo Gura @Serotoninluv What are your thoughts on this? -
Preety_India replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Raze you have no idea how corrupt the Baltimore police is before blaming the police reform for the spike in crime rates. You wouldn't want an overly aggressive police force. Aggression and violence never ends well, on whichever side it is. A badge doesn't make violence acceptable or without consequences. -
Preety_India replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Those who are defending cops should also look into police corruption and rampant police abuse and corruption in the Baltimore police department. Let's make it fair. It's not all black and white. Policing is hard work but policing is also corrupt in many places in the United States. Let's not act like the cop system doesn't need reform. Practical police reform is absolutely important at this point. -

Okay. You made a lot of good points and I am convinced now that a cop has the right to defend himself against a taser. But if the taser is so dangerous, wouldn't it do the same thing (that you mentioned) to the drunk person as well. How is using a taser on him justified. Why shouldn't he defend himself if he is fears injury from the police officers or worse death. Because George Floyd had died just a few days ago during an arrest even while being handcuffed. Obviously this creates a fear of death in a person who is being arrested. That would clearly motivate him to resist and run away. Let's say I knew that cops killed people in my place while arresting them, even when people didn't resist, what are the chances that I won't resist. I think zero. Because the moment they decided to arrest me, I would instantly fear for my life. So you need to look at it from both sides. I understand that the cop has the right to defend himself. But so does the guy.. The cop can't have it both ways. You can't use tazing and deadly force while arresting Why don't people resist arrests in my city? Because the cops don't use deadly force while arresting. Nobody dies during an arrest. If they resist they are chased again. There is backup ordered. But nobody is killed. So there is no incentive to resist arrest. They are better off going along with the cop instead of an endless chase and landing in the jail at the end of it. They know they won't win when backup arrives. So they simply surrender right away. But they never attack a cop because a cop never attacks them in the first place. So you see how this is a vicious cycle. I agree with a lot of what you said and now after watching some videos about tasers I realize the cops fears. But look at it the way from the suspect's perspective. If you constantly use deadly force on people even while they are resisting, this can create a vicious fear cycle between the cops and the criminals or suspects. Resisting an arrest is no big deal, the cops can work harder on tactics to get a person in control during a resistance, why not backup? How are two people enough to handle one guy? You would need two people on each arm to bring a person in control. Now I have some interesting points here that need to be considered while going meta on this issue, First is that the cops in my city are already assuming that the suspect is going to resist. It's just the way it goes. So don't think of it as unnatural or provoking. This consider it as a normal human reaction for a suspect to take off in order to hide from the police. So the police in my city will always ask for backup if they have to make an arrest, that is before arresting. This makes their job very easy and smooth and they don't need to use deadly force, they don't want to use to begin with. We as a culture don't like violence so the cops are never trying to escalate things with violence. As a result there is an inherent trust between the public and the cops. Now if I apply the same situation to the US, it doesn't apply.. One thing that I observed is that its very easy to call backup in my country because criminals are extremely few and rare, so they usually arrest once in blue moon and so a lot of the force is simply sitting idle and backup is a good option for them to offer some service. This is not the case in the US. There are too many criminals, more than the police can handle. So how many places are you gonna call for backup? It will be impossible for backup to meet the arrest needs of the day with so many people getting arrested in just a single day The number of people getting arrested in a single day in the United States is the number of people getting arrested in my country for a year. So you can see how easy it is for the cops here. They have absolutely no stress. Half the time they are sleeping because they have no arrests to be made. Now if you look deeply into the problem, you will realize that a lot of these problems are incentivised by guns alone. Take the example of my country. No guns. What are the chances that a new criminal can get a gun. Very few. Because an old criminal wouldn't want to give his guns since he himself got them with great difficulty. There is a problem with the distribution of guns in a place where guns are not allowed at all. This makes the job of the criminal much harder. In US, there are more guns than people so it's much easier for criminals to get their hands on gun. Getting a gun is like getting sugar Now an analogy to explain how guns complicate the issue of fighting criminals Now imagine in the picture below that a blue fish is a fish that carries a gun. Look at the picture. If I tell you to spot a blue fish you can easily do that. Because it's easy to spot a blue fish in this picture. This is the only fish that has a gun and it's so easy to spot it. But in this picture, you can't spot a blue fish because all fishes are blue. Here all fishes have guns. In a society with no guns, the only persons who need guns will be criminals and that would make the job of the system much easier to locate criminals. But in a society where everyone has a gun, it is very difficult to know who the real culprit is. My point is that the swamp needs to be drained of guns completely. Obviously I understand that removing guns from the US is a monumental task. But this will be the first step towards isolating and targeting a population of criminals. Since everyone has a gun, the cops are more likely to use lethal force even on normal citizens who don't have criminal intent or history. That was my point. This only fuels and creates a vicious cycle of violence and more violence and more incentives to resist arrests. -

Do you take into account that the person is drunk? Drunk means he won't be able to make rational decisions. The police cannot simply dole out orders to a drunk person and expect him to follow those orders. How illogical is it to expect a drunk person to follow orders rationally? Why involve lethal weapons while dealing with a drunk person in the first place? Wouldn't a drunk man simply grab these weapons without understanding the consequences? The police should have arrested him without the use of taser or guns. He wouldn't have anything to grab and they wouldn't need to fire. Also how far do you think a drunk person is gonna go? He will keep running and then most likely get tired or simply collapse. He wouldn't even know where to run They could have easily chased him down or asked for backup when they realized they couldn't do anything. There is no logic in this case. No amount of logic explains why a drunk person be shot. He wasn't a threat to the cops even if he was showing the taser because he wasn't able to aim that taser and he had already gone far enough to be a threat to the police. He was only trying to run away. The police deliberately fired at him because they just couldn't have this man running after such a long time invested into getting him arrested. If Rolfe was really following police protocol then why would he be fired within 24 hours. That's because even the police department knows that it was an excessive use of deadly force His attorney -

@remember exactly. That cop Rolfe was on a power trip It's so ridiculous. The officer Rolfe spends 45 minutes with the black guy trying to act friendly and then shoots him as he runs away. So creepy and weird. The black guy was only drunk. I actually feel very bad for his daughter. She will grow up and watch this video and in the video he tells the cop "I've a daughter" that got to me. He was drunk. He would have just collapsed somewhere and tried to catch sleep and they could have handcuffed him easily. He was so drunk that he couldn't even do anything with that taser. He would have just thrown it away That's it. Bruised ego and hurt pride. Trying to trip on power. I want him to be in prison for life. He took someone's life. Most likely he will defend himself and tell the court "he had a taser pointed at me" he was acting all tough and proud in the video. He wasn't scared for his life. He couldn't take it that he was overpowered by a black guy and so he had to shoot him. Also his testing was excessive. His finger test lasted more than a minute. That's a joke. A finger test is only a second. He also told him to walk on one leg. All of that was just unnecessary. If he thought he was that drunk, could have just given him breathalyzer and be done. -

Trevor Noah just an hour ago giving his opinion on this Atlanta case and I totally agree with him. Just use some common sense as a normal person and look at the situation. Also Trump's reaction to Rayshard Brooks shooting. Trump calls death of Brooks very disturbing. Here is the article. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-rayshard-brooks-death-very-disturbing.amp You know stuff is serious if Trump calls it disturbing. You guys gotta use common sense and some basic humanity and understand that 3 shots were fired for a simple DUI arrest. That's definitely excessive and deadly policing. -
Preety_India replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
He is not pointing a gun. He is only pointing a taser Also he was shot in the back while running. And he was shot twice. However three shots were fired. 3 shots or even 2 shots is excessive. Also the black person was far away from the police officers. In no way was he able to cause them any harm. So it would be laughable if the cops claimed they were in fear of their lives. The particular cop Garrett Rolfe was incompetent in his arrest of the person. He simply fired. He is unfit to be a cop if he cannot arrest a person alive. Plus he fired thrice. Absolutely unnecessary. He should have never been a cop. Shooting a guy over a simple DUI arrest is just complete joke and incompetency. These cops are horribly ill-equipped and they are dealing with the situations very recklessly just because they can't handle these situations. Either there is a problem with training or there is a problem with recruitment. In my opinion these cops are completely incompetent and are simply power hungry and stupid. If you are unable to arrest a person without mess and without killing, then you are unfit to be a cop.
