@Nak Khid it must be an honorable thing to make it to his block list. I wear my medal with pride. -
@Peo frankly if I were a man and if a girl told me that I was cute and adorable I would be jumping with joy, even if she didn't mean I was hot or wanted. It would have such an impact. That's the cutest thing a girl can say to a guy.

More black people get racially profiled every day. Are black people simply supposed to ignore it? -
Preety_India replied to Enlightenment's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Punish people who commit crimes. Why bother about the race. We are not living in middle ages to do witch hunting. -
I usually say that a guy is cute if I find him attractive. I hope that helps. In my opinion she likes you.

@Epikur what if an authority is biased? -

@Epikur what facts, are you from North Korea? -
Preety_India replied to Enlightenment's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Epikur I have no idea maybe they have something to gain. Politics is always dirty and nobody can know real intentions. I prefer to believe the general public over any political scientist or politician. -
Preety_India replied to Enlightenment's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Epikur the thing is that a lot of people in the system could be biased from bottom to top. So I'm less likely to believe. -
Preety_India replied to Enlightenment's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Epikur I don't care about people on YouTube. YouTube is a big business.. Snow me a real video. Show me ground reality.. Prove yourself that these statistics are right. None till now has been able to prove it. Saying so and so talks about these statistics is no proof. Tomorrow I can start a YouTube channel and keep trumpeting the same statistics Where is the proof? -

@Epikur okay, tell me why should I believe a police officer whose word contradicts what's seen on a dashcam footage? Would the statistics coming out of such a department be believable? -
Preety_India replied to Enlightenment's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Epikur keep believing in statistics. It's just numbers on a piece of paper. Ground reality changes from year to year. The question is what's the veracity of these statistics. How can you prove statistics with full accuracy just on the basis of the source? Have you yourself conducted these statistics? Are the sources who create these statistics credible? What if the sources that produced those statistics are biased while creating them? Was there an error while collecting statistical data? Was the sample too small? The answer to such questions is an "indefinite no." So you can't be sure about statistics. Now I would believe a video over a number. Because a video is less likely to be tampered with if it's taken from multiple mobile phones or devices. A direct video is more credible source of information and evidence. -

@Epikur you have a very surface level opinion on things. You believe too much in media and statistics. I believe in looking behind the curtains. -

@Epikur you need to look deeper. -
I think the only way is to approach a lot of women. And don't give up too easily.

About the current political climate. I'm glad that people are waking up to all the right wing bullshit. You know...... I will say that logic and rationality, facts, free speech are completely irrelevant. Because if these three things are used to propel hate in society, then their value is irrelevant. What I've realized after seeing the left wing and the right wing politics is that the right wing has weaponized the elements of facts, logic and rationality, free speech to pedal their agenda for hate and division and identity politics. This is the higher truth. Those who take the bait of logic, truth, facts and free speech are succumbing to the lower truth. Remember that logic, truth, rationality and free speech are high quality assets. And they should retain their value. If you use freedom to kill someone then it is righteous to take your freedom away. Similarly when you use free speech to create hate, when your logic tells you that hate is okay, when you use facts to justify racism, then these things also automatically lose their value because they weren't used for the righteous purpose. They weren't used in good faith. This is the higher truth. The higher truth here is righteousness, the truth of all truths. When you are right in your actions, it doesn't matter even if you didn't use facts, logic, rationality, free speech or any other medium. Important is that you stayed righteous. True justice lies in righteousness. Not in logic. You cannot use logic to keep someone poor Righteousness means that a person deserves fairness no matter what. Logic is thrown out the window in front of righteousness. Whats the difference between rationality and righteousness? By the principle of rationality, your job will pay you $9 an hour. By the principle of righteousness, your job is not fair in paying you $9 an hour. You deserve more because you don't deserve to live in shit after sweating out for the whole day. This is how righteousness differs from rationality Righteousness is simply the higher truth. Left wing green stage politics is about righteousness. Whereas Right wing blue stage politics is about rationality. And like Leo said in one of his videos, rationality can only go so far At some point you have to go Meta on everything.

Today I learned an important lesson on the forum. And that lesson is how to love someone who hates you. The best answer is forgiveness. This world is a stage. You have a perfect opportunity to grow here. Either you choose to grow with hate or you choose to grow in love. The choice is always yours. I always chose to grow in love. That's why I'm where I'm today. I took on so much in life only because I had so much love in my heart.. The lesson is that if I really and truly love people, I should just let them be themselves. And let them hate me if they want to. Because God always has a higher purpose. He chose me to love and not hate. Because he wanted do shield me from bad karma. He wanted me to be pure. He doesn't want certain hateful people to change because he wants them to see the mirror themselves. That's the way God works. God always wanted to show the mirror to me because he always wanted me to change.. I remember someone who said something a few months ago and it went like this "when you hate someone, you are murdering them." That's so true. If someone wants to murder me, I'll let them murder me. Because in some ways they will realize what they have done. I would love to show them that hate is not the answer but finally I think it's up to them to change themselves. You can't fix hate This is a sad realization of reality. They're not on the receiving end of hate and so they don't realize how hurtful hate is The problem with hate is that initially it starts with dislike and prejudice and then slowly morphs into more hate and then morphs into radicalism Eventually this radicalism takes the form of active racism and hate crime. Some people just learn the harder way. Hate is what caused Brenton Tarrant, an Australian national, to kill 51 Muslim worshippers at mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. One of the greatest hate crimes recorded in recent history. Hate spreads like a cancer throughout the brain suspending all logic and rationale and empathy and judgement. Hate makes you a destructive force. If you asked me which one is worse? Me hating someone Or Someone hating me The answer is "someone hating me." Because I would feel very ashamed if I were to hate someone. So someone hating is me better. So the lesson I learned today is.... Let the person hate you.... Because if you love them, you should allow them to hate you. You always love others even if they hate you.

Monogamy is the only thing that preserves moral values. However people with loose morals don't like to hear that. -

@JosephKnecht That man always has a point and always a good one.. -
Today a bad day on the forum. But anyway. There are all kinds of people on this planet, some people who say good things and some people who say hurtful things. I love listening to this. Absolutely beautiful.

Politics also shouldn't be about hating other races in the name of free speech and looking at them in reductionist ways In my opinion, Leo has done an excellent job of maintaining this forum with the guidelines. Otherwise this forum would have turned into another low quality Reddit or 4chan long ago. Allow the left to exist if you want the right to exist. There is ideological mentality on both sides. You talk a lot about the future of your country when even the future of human life is not certain. Kind of reminds me of what American cops say a lot of the time, "I shot him because I was thought he was a threat to my life." even when the person shot was found to be unarmed. -
Some people on this forum are so racist. Goodness. It baffles me. Sometimes I just don't want to be here.. My mood gets completely destroyed when I read hateful vitriol.
