  1. In regards to Truth... I mean...One shouldn't seek enlightenment just based on hearsay about how it is to be enlightened. One should seek enlightenment because of DESIRE for Truth - whatever that Truth might be. When one is seeking, ones doesn't know the Truth. So you're searching without knowning what ya'll get. Yet you do it anyway, ONLY because you have an inner desire to FIND out what is true about your basic reality and what is not true.
  2. "blank state" + "carry a little bit of that around with you" = does not compute :>
  3. "Now, I said the thing I just described is the worst case scenario because it means that you'll loose everything of your individuality that you embody right now." ... Yes, but then there will also be no "person/mind" left to then be "sad" about that particular "loss" .
  4. Brilliant comment Azreal. Great to see others being inspired by Alan Watts (and also obviously on a deep level understanding what the old man is talking about in the lectures on YouTube). Only thing I didn't really agree with was: "This is - in my current state of seeing it - the worst case scenario that can happen to you." Why so? And to which "you" ? ... I mean, sure, from a very ego-driven person stuck in the illusion then this is of course very bad. However, for a person who isn't stuck in the illusion I find it pretty beautiful actually ... Infinite existence without ever really becoming fully conscious of the fact that you are an infinite existence ... (only on a logical/conceptual level, and maybe partly intuitively conscious of it through no-self experiences) And I mean that new perspective you might transform into after death, cannot remember ANYTHING about the "old"/"previous" perspective -- in fact words like old/previous don't make any sense even...Time is an illusion, we already know this from science/relativity -- so there's nothing to be either sad or happy about; it is just is; it's neutral. I mean from Absolute Infinity's perspective, which is a non-dual perspective, it's both fantastic and terrible at the same time, which together just merges into: neutral/no-perspective.
  5. I know. The untamed mind craves stimuli. Psychedelics have the ability to fuck up the mind and show it some things...maybe kill it even (momentarily)... After such an experience the mind *might* chill the fuck down and accept reality without craving stimuli all the time Psychedelics like shrooms, dmt, LSD shouldn't even be considered drugs in my view. They are the complete opposite of addictive drugs like cocaine, heroine, meth, etc. They have NOTHING in common AT ALL.
  6. Unless that stimulation-addicted being takes a healthy psychedelic dose ... after such a trip, one might be able to appreciate life by just focusing on the breath and meditating :>
  7. Haha sick lol. The last one with the hair dryer... I had my eyes closed but my mind had me almost 100% convinced that a hair stylist was around me drying my hair with a dryer.. lol..
  8. So 3,6 g of dried shrooms. Of course it varies a lot how strong shrooms is, but 3,6 g of dried shrooms is a pretty high dose based on what I've read 4g of dried shrooms seems equal to around 250-300 ug LSD
  9. Also the part where you felt like you became the tree was also interesting. So did you really feel like you became the tree and experienced its whole life? Was this just a creation of your mind or did you actually become the tree momentarily? This is stupid question maybe, since in any case it's a creation out of consciousness/mind ... not nessecarily the mind you have now, though. Psychedelics surely can throw a lot of subconsciousness stuff in one's mind into the conscious field of awareness. Yet, I also think that it can do more than that... It can throw stuff into your awareness that's not even part of your normal seperated mind. Like for example how you expericiened the Tree's mind... Does a tree have a mind? Does a tree experience seasons and such? Does a tree have feelings? (probably not, but can one be conscious without any feelings? Maybe). After all we're -- according to science -- just a bunch of "death" neurons. Our brain and bodies are composed of "death matter". Just like the Earth as the ball it is (;D) is composed of death matter. Since this kind of arrangement of death matter that our brains are can create a mind, how about a tree? A planet? A sun? A universe? Perspective, perspective.
  10. "The important part i want to emphasize is this conversion of non-duality to duality since it is the absolute essence of creation." ". It is really you who creates your entire world, every "value" you apply to one of those orbs creates your complete experience of reality. Duality is the labelling system of the mind of how to identify anything and is build from relativity from all the other values. Changing one value as to say directly changes the relation with all others and this simply is your perspective or vision what life looks like or gets experienced." This sounds about right, hehe. Great read. Very profound insight. You articulate the experience and insight very well. Thanks. Well, you can say it was an experience under the influence of a drug (natural shrooms). You could also turn it around and say it was an experience WITHOUT the influence of the mind Cos your mind was gone during the experience. There was only you and a gateway to raw consciousness/nothingness/infinity ...-- and this gave you profound insights about reality... Cos I fully agree... The world we find ourselves in is dualistic in every way. The mind operates through dualistic functioning, as you say. The so-called "physical world" thus also appears dualistic. Light, Dark, Good, Evil, Pain, Joy, Life, Death, Self, Other, Friend, Enemy and so on. But even though the world appears dualistic in nature, it is possible to see that this dualistic nature naturally arises from the counter-point: a non-dual reality without seperation, without labeling, withouter any self, without any world...only Oneness..., Awareness is left. And it is from this non-dual infinite limitless oneness/awareness that the "normal" world is created through. So yes, as you say, creation goes from the non-dual state to the dualistic state We all come from nothingness. And we will all vanish into nothingness. And out of nothingness will we come again. Existence will come again. 0, 1, 0, 1, 0,1. Death, Life, Death, Life. "If you use your mind to study reality, you won't understand either your mind or reality. If you study reality without using your mind, you'll understand both." - This is a great quote by the Zen master, Bodhidharma. To attain great wisdom, one surely has to lose the mind every now and then
  11. Nice trip report mate. Sounds like an eye-opening experience. Great read. Can you be more specific of how this trip has changed you today? What was the dosage? Do you have problems sleeping after the trip? Have you tried LSD and if yes, can you give a overview of the difference between the LSD- and the Shroom-experience? ( I have never done shrooms, only LSD... But my next psychedelic trip I think I want to be shrooms, and not LSD, since I've heard by hear-say that shrooms can be more profound). I have done LSD a few times, and experienced what I think is partial ego death where I sort of just became one with the music and the visuals and vanished from the world and all my anxious thoughts. I felt pure love and oneness. When "my mind" slowly came back I freaked out as well. I was almost disappointed, like "WHY CANT I JUST BE IN THIS STATE OF PURE LOVE/NOTHINGNESS FOREVER? CMON" ... I was terrified actually, lol. And I sort of had to remember how to function in a human body again. Scary stuff. But eye-opening stuff.
  12. Do you realize that the reason you feel the need to write a somewhat useless comment, such as this one, is because a big part of your mind/ego would like to disregard this whole enligtenment-thing (that you've been reading about out of pure curiosity for quite a wihle now) as a hoax, so it can continue its own materialistic and attaching practices without annoyance from that little part within you that tells you there might be something geniune about it? :>
  13. Dreaming = a creation of subconsciousness Not-dreaming = a creation of consciousness Waking up includes the realization that both dreaming and not-dreaming are two sides of the same coin. i.e. it's arbitrary what you call a dream and what you call reality. The Not-Dreaming_Experience (= body being "awake" on planet earth or where ever the body is) is indeed a dream. The Dreaming-Experience (= body being "asleep" on planet earth or where ever the body is) is reality. And vice versa.
  14. "my body " Who owns the body you call "my body" ??? "You" ? Who are "you" ??? Do you feel like a controlling, conscious agent inside your head between your eyes? Yes, you do, right? You're right now conscious of seeing a computer screen right in front of you through 2 eyeholes. Conscious of the sensations in your body. Cold feet. Cold hands maybe. Sensation of pressure on the butt from the chair. But is it really your body? Who does the breathing? Who does the seeing? Who does the smelling? Who does the thoughts? Who does the sensations? Who moves the intestines? You? Who moves the fingers when typing on a keyboard? You? Who beats the heart? You? Who breathes right now? You? Who hears the noise from your computer right now? You? That unique self inside the head? Is that you? Who feels like that conscious, aware, conscious, thinking "thing"/soul/agent inside the head? You? Well if it's you that feels like being you, but you locate and think that that you is inside your head (and thus dependent on the body; you see if you don't think you are your body (most ppl don't identify with their body, but as someone who HAS a body, is INSIDE one, OWNS the body, CONTROLS it, FEELS it), then it's maybe even worse, because now you feel like a passenger inside the body, and this passenger's existence now depends on the survival of the body... , because if the body dies, only God know's what will happen to YOU, who spent the whole life living inside that head/body-thing...., and I mean surely you must die as well.. A passenger in a car crash rarely survives, right... Have you ever thought about, that the feeling of being 'you' -- a unique independent controlling percieving self/agent -- inside the head is in itself just a sensation that the actual You is percieving? Doesn't that make more sense? And what traits does this You have? Does it have any locality? Does it have any shape? Any age? When was it born? When will it die? Can it be hurt? Can it modified? Can it be killed? Is it a thing? A physical thing? Is it a product of the brain? Is it a software controlling the brain? Is it a program ran by the brain that gets killed when the brain dies? So You die when the brain dies? Or is it independent of the brain? Independent of experiences? Untouchable by feelings, thoughts, sensations, pain? And yet it can still experience all that? Where is this You? Is it anywhere? So how about You - the real You...the very experience of having any experience or no experience - is actually just being tricked by a complex sensation/experience into thinking it's a seperated, living, unique, mortal, hurtable self inside the heard? So when you think you see a tree in the forest you have a "normal experience." The normal experience of believing "Hey I am standing here 10 meters away and I am seeing a physical tree 10 meters away. The tree is there. And me? I am right here 10 meters away from it seeing a tree ".... Do you think it's possible to see a tree without having any location? Without being 10 meters away. Without any perciever, but just the perception of that tree itself? So that you in a way merge with the tree? The perciever and the percieved merges away and there becomles only perception? The ffeeling of being a unitary self -- can this feeling dissolve away? Have you ever thought about that? If that feeling dissolve away - what is then left? Can you imagine? What is left can be a feeling of oneness. Complete destruction of the illusion of being a self. And you see that everything is one big happening. Oneness. No separated selfs. No persons. Only a game of playing persons. Acting like humans. All done by one Self. The Self that is You. The Self that is Me. The Self contains all experience that is, has been and will come. The Self creates all experience that is, has been and will come. The Self percieves all experience that is, has been and will come. Since It contains, create and percieves all experience,... if It ever believes it is only one particular kind of experience, like the one you're having right now of being 'you' .. then It must be playing a hide and seek game with Itself. What is the goal of a hide and seek game? For the hider, it is to hide for as long as possible. For the seeker, it is to seek for the hider until found. If the hider is the seeker, the seeker the hider, then we have a very paradoxical game. How can he who simutlationsly hides from himself and seeks for himself ever really hide from himself or find himself? Isn't both the hiding and the finding happening RIGHT now already at the same time in this present moment? You're looking for yourself, not realizing you already yourself. That what you're seeking for is happening right in front of you. Yet you don't see it, because you don't want to. You want to pretend like you're not ... that you're still seeking, and that that which you seek is still hiding somewhere. You want to keep this pretending for as long as possible, because the conceptual you -- the mind -- can't take the Truth that there really is none seeking and none hiding... That it's all a game. that it has no meaning what-so-ever... that the mind doesn't exist... the mind has to realize it's not a mind, but a stream of experiences experienced by no-mind, by You... THe mind constantly wants to get stimulated.. Why? Because it cannot stand being alone with itself... How do you get enlightened? By doing the opposite of what the mind what to do. The mind wants stimulation... well, show it who's in the driving seat and give it the opposite: Sit down for 2 hours and do nothing (except being aware which happens by it self because You are that which is aware in itself... that which is aware of all experience,.. that which creates all experience...that which contains all experience). As perons we are all just finite minds living inside the infinite mind (the Self), created by the infinite mind, and percieved by the infinite mind. As long as a person doesn't see that he comes from Infinity/God/The Divine/The Self, that he is within the Divine -- right now -- and that he is percieving the Divine right now (existance itself)...then one will be forever lost... IF one instead thinks that he is a mechnical evolutiunary fluke created by and contained in a stupid cold mechnical universe, and seeing it has not divine, not magical , not mystical but as ordinary , trivial, explainable, understandable, sensable ... then LOL... Both atheits and very religious people do the same: They see existance as not-mystical... they see it as ordinary. The atheist thinks he's just a fluke in a random, cold, mechnical, very big physical ... very ordinary... and theists makes all kind of human-like-explanations to make it ordinary (God is looking over you, be nice, this is a parole, REAL heaven/Divinity comes if you pass this little life-exam) ... LOL The Self experiences the experience that it created within itSelf for itSelf. For the Self to ever experience the experience of being the Self it first had create the opposite: the experience of not being itSelf. And one stream of this infinite experience is the finite experience It is currently right now having by experiencing being "you". Just as well that Self - which I really, really am - is currently tricking Me (itSelf) into believing I am the little human me, Waveintheocean, a tired sleepless boy sitting in front of a computer in Copenhagen typing these meaningless words on an interent forum instead of going to bed. The mere experience you have right now of being a separate self inside the head...can't you see that this is an illusion? That it has nothing to do with ACTUAL reality? That you in fact are that which is having that experience of believing/feeling like a seperate self inside the head. goodnight folks
  15. So if I meet a hungry child in real life - the hungry child is real and not a concept now?:D Isni't it sill a concept? Yet, I get what you mean I guess. That in that case it is what is, and until direct experience: concepts. Just ignore me, im being silly I think.
  16. When does a hungry boy ever appear before one? Isn't it ALWAYS just an image in the mind? Why is there anything wrong with an image - as long as one is aware of its nature (that everything we percieve visually is mind-created images).
  17. Everyone should stop seeking enlightenment like it just "ONE" life-changing experience that needs to happen during meditation/contemplation and then BOOM: You're enlightened. This is one big mistake to believe this will ever happen. A hoax. A biiiiiiiiiiiig trap. Truth is: we're all enlightened in our ground-state. Ground state = a innocent child not yet affected by the social loops/cultural egos/society. Then we grow up and unconsciously incorporate all that and identifies with all that. Now it's true: Our brain is more evolved when we are adults. Higher capacity for logical thinking. Higher capacity for abstraction. Higher capacity for "knowing stuff"... Higher capacity for awareness. All these "abilities"/capacties : they are there all the time and its with those one should start the road to enlightenment. What has to be done then? Unlearning. Unlearn/detach/stop identifying with all that has influenced you since your ground state (innocent child). How does one start on this journey? By first acknowleding that one is ignorant (= the beginning to true open-mindedness.) This is a proces. all i can say is read "the book of not knowning" by Peter Ralston. Next step? Contemplate / be alone with yourself / study yourself from this state of of pure 'not-knowning'. Next step? Now the magic happens, now the real enlightenment game has begun, as you can use your high capacity for logical thinking (causality), abstraction and awareness to study yourself (=the mind+the nature of your true self) without being biased as you have been whole your adult life til now (because now you have unlearned urself / acknowledged that you're an ignorant motherfucker). Tbh differentiating between "ego" and "personality" ... I don't like this. For me... "mind" / "personality" / "ego" ..it's words refering to the same: the complex constant stream of pattern of thoughts/sensations that create the false self. False self because the mind/ego most of the time very convincingly makes the True Self (awareness) feel like it is not awareness/nothingness but instead that body-mind-soul-thingness inside the head. So wisdom comes from "knowing" that you are ignorant and that existance is mystical as fuck. Some say enlightenment is all about getting rid of the ego. But as all that have the slightest understanding of non-duality/reality knows, then making such a big statement about something must also mean that the opposite statement: "Enlightenment is all about developing a ego with high awareness and lots of wisdom ("great ego") " must be just as true. Now think about that and how it can be that both statements are equally true
  18. Now, this post could go both in the science/philosophy or in here... I choose in here. In the video below the guy from psychedsubstance tells about one of his experiences with LSD, where he says during the trip he saw what appeared to him to be "the inner workings of reality" , which included beings/aliens who were surprised to see him getting access to such a 'plane'/to see them. It's just "experiences from a trip" sure.. but it is very interesting to ponder about, and also shows how much respect one should have for psychedelics. Now Adam, from PsychedSubstance is actually a pretty wise guy, and his channel is mainly for harm reduction (+ some fun stories from his past where he were not wise! hehe) ... so don't judgde him before you have watched the video. Precisely because he is pretty wise, he could handle such an experience, and not go crazy. Imagine if such an experience were to happen to a 17-year old with no spiritual-work at all... That could easily turn the dude insane I think. But anyway here the video is: I'll also post my youtube comment i made to the video (see the video before you read that which is below): Anyway, who knows?!:D And... I myself have gotten the same feeling multiple times during my last LSD-trips..: that reality is a simulation, and that there might be conscious beings behind it. Very scary. Sort of like after I snapped out of the experience, "I had to look out the window to check I still was on earth"-feeling ... And I also have the sense that I *MAYBE* might have killed myself on many of my LSD-trips, but the reason I'm still here right now is just because there are infinite simultations of me, and this is one where I for some reason decided to stay alive.. (yes I've had some horrific nightmarish very bad trips). Anyway, what do you guys think?:D Try listen to this great piece of music with voice-over from Alan Watts after you've thought about it for a while: A sligthly different (imo better) version is here:
  19. Oh yes Dodoster, it's because I suck at spelling Enligish words lol.. of course I mean causality
  20. Well, obv they were just created out of consciousness/Awareness. So you as your true you created the aliens. Adam's mind created them obv.. But I mean that experience is just as valid as the one I'm having now, believing im typing on a physical computer.:p So yeah you are right, it doesn't matter if it is a simulation or not. why? because no matter what it is an infinite simulation ran by God/Awareness itself. Difference between Awareness and Consciousness? hmm. Awareness is pure. The absolute. Consciousness is what happens when Awareness tricks itself into the hide-and-seek game of life. Higher consciousness = getting more and more awareness.
  21. Be careful. The mind has no free will in itself. True. Just like the body in itself thus has no free will. The mind can be more than just a machinebox for pleasure and pain, though. It can be a 'box' for knowledge/wisdom. For Awareness to find itself. A box of attaining higher and higher degree of Awareness (coming closer and closer with one's True Self (= can never be fully reached)). Awareness in it's purest form (which is what you ultimately are, and which is that which you are trying to attain/become one again with (if you are spiritual in any sense)) naturally has pure, free will. Can you ever become 100% one with your true self (Awareness) during a human life? Nah. But just to throw some random numbers out, one could say Leo is somewhere around 5% while most others on this forum are at like 0,5% , and the average population is around 0,001%. (im just joking around here fun here, but to illustrate a point). Jesus or Buddah were maybe at 50ish% (:DD) Anyway. Permanent Enligtenment as something that just BOOM!-happens in an instant while meditating/doing drugs, -- now you are free -- is one big hoax/trap within true spirituality. Enlightenment is a never-ending path. No discussion here. Enlightenment is "basically" just about attaining more and more Awareness/True Knowledge/Wisdom of reality (= your true self)... which is the same as saying that it is about self-realization (because the more awareness you get, the more understanding you get get of the nature of Awareness (= your true self). " trying to become what you already are. " ... Well, you are currently not Awareness. You are governed by Awareness (God). And ultimately, yes your true self is Awareness... but currently no human beings on Earth can claim to be Awareness during their life, and none will ever could claim to be so. None can claim to be God during a human life. As long as you are governed by Awareness without understanding how it governs you, you will continue to have absolutely no free will at all, yes. The more understanding you can get of how the govering of your true self (Awareness), the less "no free will" you attain (:D) . What is the first rule one must learn of how Awareness works? The law of casuality. Every action/effect/happening has a cause/chain of causes. By then applying this rule (= pure logic) while observing your mind carefully, one begins to attain awareness. Nah, I disagree. Suffering stems from ignorance ... and ignorance only. Ignorance = not being aware of how casuality plays out, or even worse, maybe not even realizing that there is a law of cause and effect (every effect has a looooooooooooong (basically infinite) chain of causes, and our goal here is to a get a glimpse of this infinite chain.. yes then it will be a finite chain (not complete), but the longer the apprant "finite chain" is, the closer you are to being God, which you of course can never become fully). So ignorance is the root to all suffering. It's true that from ignorance often (almost all the time) comes false desire. False in the sense that you won't be happy by eventually getting what you desire (only momentarily, this is the great game of the the ignorant-lived life :D). What can only make you happy in the long-term is by attaining greater and greater understanding of the mentioned law (= higher, and higher degree of Awarenesss). Another law that is good to know is the law of change. Nothing is permanent. But you can sort of derive this law from the other law by just observing reality. It's true that the first step to attain true Awareness is by first acknowleding that one is indeed ignorant (=no free will=not in control of what has happened in the past=yes it's "God's"/Awareness' will that has happened). How does one get past this step as quickly as possible? My ego wants to say that one should read The Book of Not Knowing by Peter Ralston. Many times maybe. Then one realizes that one knows nothing by reading and applying what's taught in that book. Great fucking book. If one cannot first acknowledge that one knows nothing (like Aware in the science-forum currently can't acknowledge that he knows absolutely nothing about physics), then one will be forever stuck on the spiritual path to self-realization (of attaining true Awareness/knowledge). The next step is then to trust that the Universe and Mind/Ego functions in according to the law of casuality (to trust logic basically, as in fucking pure, pure, pure logic). That is to say, all experience is based on the law of casuality. The third step might be then to all see that nothing is permenant. Change is law. Fourth step? Now it's just an "easy" ride from here. Because one has now attained radical open-mindeness (by getting past step 1). One has attained knowledge of the law of reality functions. So now it's just to combine the two (--- I know nothing about this -- -> Let's observe without filter/ego --> And apply the law of casuality (logic) to what one sees). And in a sense, yes, one is really enlightened now, but now the REAL enlightenment-game has just begun. So basically fourth step is now just to combine Law of Casuality with knowning of being ignorant, and then true wisdom will come (higher and higher degree of Awareness will slowly but steady be attained, yet one can never reach it fully, only partly ... one has just shifted game from "The Game of Ignorance (stuck in social loops)" (or "Power games" as Aware calls it) to "The Game of Knowing one is Ignorant" (=true self-realization game) Shifting from the I'm-not-Ignorant-Game to the I-Am-Ignorant-Game can be described with this parable: You were born an eagle. But the eagle-egg was by God placed in a hen-nest. You are then born and believe that you are a chicken/hen.. So because you believe that, your whole life you act like you are a fucking chicken/hen. The first step to Enlightenment for the eagle-who-believes-he-is-a-hen would happen if the eagle one day questioned his own mind: "Am I really a hen..?" ... Next step the hen would then realize "hey, I don't know who I am" ... (there's difference in saying it without seriousness (Nah I don't know who I am) without meaning it really (one still thinks he's a body/mind)) and then with 100% seriousness saying "I truly don't know who I am fucking am, let's try to find out by using the law of casuality and self-observation). The hen would then maybe one day find out that he can fly. Then he will be viewed as the Jesus Christ-hen by the other hens ("LOOK IT CAN FLY!"), and the hens themselves will then continue to believe that only that hen was truly a son of God (= an eagle), while they themselves are just "human bodies/souls" walking around This is what is happening on this planet (Just believe and have faith in Christ, and you will come to heaven when you die, rofl-fucking-mao:D). While truly, all the other hens were also born from an eagle egg!! Most (99,99%) will just never realize it - SADLY! :< Now ... How come we as humans have the ability to even have knowledge of the the Law of Awareness (law of casuality) ??? No other animal has the ability to think in terms of logic (in terms of casuality)... Now, most people use this ability to think in terms of logic on the outside, physical world. "Rationalism" ... They never thought about the possibility that logic could also be applied to the self-study of one self ... This is where the magic happens Then one might also realize, that the physical world is not really physical, but just a fun little creation of Awareness to distract itself from seeing itself.:D But science is still fun. Awareness decided to create this big physical world (= apparant reality) just so it could get lost in it for the fun/love of it. Getting lost is fun. Realizing that you are lost = wisdom. Awareness is playing a game of hide and seek, really. It pretends it's a physical thing, while that physical thing in fact is something the Awareness created it self (it just forgot that it did, lol). So in that sense .. all human beings are sons/creations of Awareness/God. Eating the apple from the garden was like Awareness was running around in the garden (heaven/bliss/nothingness) like a child and just then decided to eat the apple. The apple is viewed as the apple os wisdom in the Bible... Well truth is, the apple was the apple of ignorance. Eating the apple, Awareness instantly forgot that it was Awareness, and instead it became ignorant and begin to believe it's a physical thingxD Guys and girls and friends... Life is one big game without any meaning... We are all running around confused and pretending we know stuff... while in Truth that which we know of (the physical world) is just one big hoax created by the True Self to distract itself (LOL) from finding itself again (LOL). But Awareness also decided to put some signs out there for itself.. Some signs that would lead its children (human beings) to MAYBE become aware of the fact that they are ignorant ... apparantly most people are not, though. Socrates... what a fucking wise motherfucker.. I'm gonna read something of him instead of just pretending I know who he was based on quotes from goodread.com LOL But let me repeat... Life is one big game without any meaning.. The physical world is one big distraction.. Why did Awareness create this game of hide-and-seek for itself to get lost in? Well, flip the question around: Why the fuck wouldn't it? Existence is all about ENJOYMENT, LOVE and HAVING FUN. That's ALL it is fucking about lol... Quit your fucking silly boring 8-17 jobs (the fact that some people have some jobs shows just how fucking ignorant they are: they actually believe it is important whether or whether not they will have food enough to survive the next day... Hey, why so scared about death? Death my just be the fucking greatest blessing of all for all you ignorant motherfuckers:D So again, why the fuck wouldn't Awareness create a big infinite physical world to get lost in? Imagine you were Awareness? WHAT THE FUCK ELSE COULD YOU DO THAN CREATING SOMETHING FUN? How can you NOT-CREATE anything? LOL So let me throw in a 4th thing... existence is also all about CREATION... That's why are all fucking programmed to fall in "love" with the opposite sex so we can reproduce these physical bodies, LOL. So CREATE SOMETHING my friends. Become artists. Write books about this fun life joke. Create music (FUCK I LOVE MUSIC LOL, as long as it doesn't have artifical vocals singing about the false life which I know is a joke), create paintings, create computer games. Fall unconsciously in love. Overdose on some fun drugs. Maybe die, so what? Yeah Computer games!! That is the best thing ever man...LOL .. Awareness already being lost as a human body-mind, a mind which is already COMPLETELY ignorant of Awareness, and that mind then proceeds to get lost inside a computer game (World of Warcraft for example) .. Now what the fuck do we have? We Super-Lost x2 .. YAY MORE FUN!! haha Actually just for the lulz guys, I may have more respect for a big, fat virgin nerd who devoutes his whole life to live inside a fantasy game (world of warcraft) than a workalcoholic dude that spends his whole life working 9 hours a day in a job he hates.. HAHA, at least the nerd is having fucking FUN within the game... Having internet sex with female gnomes and stuff.. killing big bosses and getting some fancy gear. No work, just fun!! YAY Guys, read my siganture. Alan Watts knew what's up. Combine Socrates, Watts, Buddah and Jesus into one big fat AI-robot, and maybe we have a physical thing that is actual 99,99% God. Actually -- just buy observing the nature of awareness (that it apparantly has created this physical hoax-game to get lost) one must conclude that this is also what we human beings like to do: TO GET LOST.. And that's also what one can observe everyone are.. Everyone are fucking lost, like beyond help of ever not getting lost. The fact that I'm sitting here and rambling about how it's all a big meaningless game... that might be a glitch of some kind... Like Awareness forgot something when he created the game.. Or maybe it was just a sign I talked about, so Awareness had a "lifeline", if things got too crazy (=too much suffering/pain inside the physical non-existing world-game) (like it is now: DONALD TRUMP is the world's president, HAHA WHAT A BIG FAT COSMIC JOKE :DD) ... Guys, I think I am a pessimist in regards to human life... This game has gone too far, just look around the world.. I don't expect the human race to sustain itself for more than a few hundred years. (or maybe I do, maybe I will do something about it, I might decide to use my "ACTUAL FREE WILL" to CHANGE something... maybe... haven't decided yet guys (because I'm a fucking ignorant fool lol).. So guys,, if you crave more money$$$$$$$$ invest all your money in virtual reality comapanies and live on the street for 5-10 years and become a billionaire in a few years Virtual Reality is gonna be huge man.. Lost humans not knowing they are lost then deciding for themselves to get lost inside a world inside a world , haha it is really funny man. okay guys, this whole post has just been a stream of thought, it started as a serious reply to dodoster and then i can see it turned out to a lot of not-serious ramblings (don't take me too seriously please, I'm just having fun). so in all seriousness... I've said that life is all about CREATION, FUN, LOVE, ENJOYMENT (FOR EVERYONE! NOT JUST FOR "ME" BECAUE TRULY I AM YOU). ... now the question is, how do one become content 24/7 ? how is one never NOT-filled with love/humour/happiness/desire to create/help ... and why is there deeply within all a feeling of joy when seeing joy/happiness in those close to us? To the second question, it's because Awareness inside know that It Is All. So when I see my mother being happy when she seems me and hugs me, the Awareness within me knows that that equals me being happy. When I see a picture in the TV of a sick, underfed African baby in pain, I feel pain, because Awareness knows it is the fucking baby just as much as it is the current bodymind that tries to trick it into believing Awarenss is that (lol). To the first question (to the how is one never NOT filled).. the answer begins where this comment starts... getting rid of TRUE Ignorance by acknowleding one is really ignorant (= false ignorance/true wisdom) , and then building from there. “Wonder is the beginning of wisdom.” “To find yourself, think for yourself.” “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.” “I cannot teach anybody anything. I can only make them think” “There is only one good, knowledge, and one evil, ignorance.” “The unexamined life is not worth living.” (so fucking true lol) “The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.” !!!!!! The Book of not Knowing guys by Peter Ralston. Read it and then leave this forum and start living your life fully. hehe. (im lost guys, but im having fun while being lost). But basically life is all about understanding, communication, being in service for others (=Self), and then also having a lot of fun, creating more meaningless stuff (like this random post), loving and enjoying, and maybe reproducing some more bodies, which because you believe you are wise, you can then program a new body to be just as wise as you, which feels nice for the little awareness stuck in bodymind. ;D But Real Love, Real Creation, Real Fun (xD) can only happen when one first has began the journey of self-realization which starts by realizing one has been an ignorant fool all live (remember to also love yourself though)... So to sum it up.. Awareness/God has created this physical game for itself to get lost in only because of love (throw in some curiousity, infinity, infinite matrixes/games/realities, why-not-feeling, fun, too maybe also). Love (positive feelings) is the only feeling with any logical value, any other feeling (hatred, fear etc) have no logic behind them, if you become truly aware. Meaning of life is polarized: For some "incarnations of Awareness" it is to get as lost as possible and never realize one is lost (most of humanity). For other "incarnations of Awareness" it it so get as not-lost-as-possible by first acknowleding one is infinitely lost. One could say both are equally valid. Yet, one could also say that because love is the only logical feeling in the universe, then the meaning of life should be to get all beings to only feel love... and therefore one could say that true spirituality is a more meaningful game than the other games. And for most actually it is a constant mix of these two I guess, but very screwed towards the first, at least in regards to finding one's true self. Why is it so? Only God (True Complete Awareness) knows:p For both of these ultimate polarized games, there are smaller games of: power, attachments to the physical world, detachments, understanding (most important one, as long as it is purely based on first realziing one's own ignorance + law of casuality + law of change = True Understanding/attainment of awareness), service, communication, having fun, creating random meaningless stuff, enjoying what life has to offer and becoming unconsciously deeply attached to such things (drugs, food, sex, money, sleep, playing computer games, watching tv, reading, whatever man). Sooooooooo “There is only one good, knowledge, and one evil, ignorance.”
  22. How does one know how long he can be aware? Because if he is suddenly not aware, does he then really know that? If you know you're suddenly not aware, then that is the same as saying that you are indeed aware. But ... If you believe to be fully aware, while there are in truth still many unconscious "processes" (happenings/actions) happening within you (subconsciousness) -- which you are not aware of (hence: we say it's in the "unconscious field") -- are you then really aware? Only partly, right? To be FULLY (like 100%, or beyond 100%) aware of EVERYTHING that is going on within you -- & arround you -- is utopia and not something we as human beings can EVER achieve. Yet, it is something to strive for, and I guess you could say it can be approximated. To really be FULLY Aware is to fully BECOME (in heart) that which you really ARE (Awareness) which is the same as saying "to become God". What does it in the 'wisest' sense mean to attain higher degrees of awareness? In my humble view that is happening when one gains a larger, and larger understanding of what governs them (= what have governed them in the past/logic/casuality/law of actions leading to according results). The larger understanding of what governs ones body, the more "free" the Awareness attached to that body becomes (and more free = it gets closer to its true self/itself/Awareness, and further away from social loops/conditoning/unconscious ego). The larger understanding of what governs one, the more free a person is to actually take a truly "Self"-governed choice (TRUE unconditioned desires)... Because with the understanding of what has governed a person in the past, the person can see that that which has governed him were not of his/her own will, but of other's will (social/cultural loops)... Thus the larger understanding one gains of the social loops one has been stuck in / still stuck in (= no free will), the larger degree of more "True free will" one gets, because the person has attained a greater understanding of how casuality works = can make better decisions that are in accordance with his/her true nature/true desires and not in accordance with false desires/attachments/social conditioning/other's will. ... and also "better decisions" in the sense that the person is able with greater degree of accuracy to predict what will happen when a given action is taken/"chosen" (because of the great logic attained/great understanding of casuaulity has played out in the past). Wow im rambling:D just stream of thoughts Im coming up with as I think about it. Great topic to ponder about.
  23. Don't judge so harshly. He's obviously not a troll. He has a great perspective on how to be able to live freely without attachments. Sure -- it's based on Buddha's teachings... but he has not just read/understood the teachings, he is also living -- to a large extent - in accordance with them And actually the point of this topic was just to ask people to question some things (like the shape of the thing we're living on) which is healthy.
