@7thLetter yea I think that would be ok. Essential oils is a big one. They can be really strong and shouldn't be used indiscriminately. And in general I'm talking about how "natural" is not always synonymous with better.

@7thLetter for sure! Also, a product being natural doesn't inherently mean it's safe. So I'm always aware of that.

@7thLetter that's great! Be aware of "green washing" where companies will claim natural ingredients and use earthy tones on their packaging to make something seem more healthy. The word natural has turned into a great marketing technique and that's about all.

@Alysssa I'm sure there are many who are misdiagnosed or put on meds unnecessarily but these cases don't nullify the legitimacy of the diagnosis as a whole. Being diagnosed actually helps a lot of people understand themselves better and know that what they are experiencing is normal.

It could be a lot of what you mentioned piled on top of each other. It's probably not just one thing causing it. .

@evolving55555 Every day there will be the option for you to meditate in the hall or in your room for certain sits. Always sit in the hall if you have the option otherwise. You are more likely to work harder and meditate better in the hall. Your success will determine on how hard you're willing to work. Also, right after the retreat you may be on a high of sorts. So, understand that as time passes things in life go back to normal and mundane. That's OK and part of the process.

Most people who worry about climate change aren't doing anything to try and change it. Getting stuck in fear mode does nothing. Get out into nature. While life is suffering in many places, it is also thriving in abundance in others. Also, living more sustainably won't hurt.

God is expressing itself through your human form because it "wants" to. It's ok to do this. It's part of being here in your body.

The feminine is an active receiver. It's not so much how often the man reaches out, it's just that when he does, how does she respond?

I think that using the word God cuts to the core. I often will use God first and then go to some of the other names it is known by after if needed.

You want little burden on your body to detox nasty stuff that is in body wash, shampoo, makeup, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, plastic bottles etc.

There are many plants that we eat and use that have defense mechanisms. None of that means the plants are not to be consumed by humans.
