Well Im contemplating it. I think I can be there as awareness even if my senses are not. So to be asleep is to be without sense perception. Then when you dream subtle thought and imagination kicks in. Then when you wake up from sleep the gross perceptions kick in. Awareness is always there. The reason sleep goes by in an instant is because awareness isnt aware of time.

"Meaningless action too." This sentence makes no sense. Perhaps your clarification is lacking and not my understanding.

How can I believe something if the mind is not there? Or do you mean I believe it while Im awake?

Define superior. Can a human fly? Nope. Can a dog write a book? No. Which is more important?

When youre sleeping and get awoken by someone. How can you be awoken if youre not aware of the waking itself? Imagine someone pinches you. Boom, youre awake. How is this possible if there is no awareness there? Are we aware in deep sleep?

If consciousness is meaning then what is aware of the meaning? We would say "I" understand the meaning of this" But who is the I? Is meaning or consciousness prior? Can you be aware of meaning while asleep? Youre probably going to think through the answer. I suggest you look at your experience instead. It doesnt help me to explain the color pink if you havent seen it.

They have eyes but they do not see. They have ears but they do not hear.

And we cant imagine that being because it would have senses we dont have. Its so tricky. If you try to imagine a new sense you have to use the senses you do have.

And yet. A leaf talking is still limited to the 6 senses. What if you had 12 senses? What would they be?

What are the differences between the 6 senses? Are there similarities? •A sound has duration, amplitude, pitch. •Sight has shape, color and movement. Sight can also be fooled, like optical illusions. Sight is limited to a certain amount of colors and shapes. Sight is limited by distance and the visual field. Awareness sees without eyes. Awareness is prior to sight.

•Thought is the one that hears and the one that speaks at the same time. There is no time lag inbetween. Who is the one hearing?

What are the limits of the senses? •A thought can imagine a smell but a thought doesnt have a smell in itself. •A thought can imagine a sound and therefore become a sound itself. Although the sound has the quality of a thought and not a real sound. •A thought is not material yet exists. •A thought can take any shape, but what is the substance of thought itself?
