Sometimes it can be nice, but you need an object to make sure your mind doesnt wander off, I usually stare at an empty glass or cup. Being aware of hearing throughout the day is also a powerful way to become mindful and not go into story-mode.

Ever since I was a child whenever I focused on something I enjoyed like drawing I would get into a place where I lost sense of time and really random thoughts would just pop up and I would notice them but not care about them. A very enjoyable state where Im totally in the zone, it still happens today when I make music. Is that what they mean by Flow?

If my life still sucks at 30 then I’ll find some Zen temple in Sweden for real. But Im working hard to find bliss in everyday life.

You think your experience was real, Im saying its just as real as any other spiritual experience. Debating over it is useless. I dont think that just because its in the brain means its not real, everything is in the brain apparently so thats circular logic.
