CG Kid is pretty legit, saw a recent video where he talks about mindfulness and finding happiness in reality itself or something like that, seems to be getting into spirituality a little bit.

The mind is a concept, it doesnt exist as a "thing", what exists is the phenomema of thoughts and images as they are, if you want to lump the two together and call it mind thats fine but there is no "container". I think the idea of a mind as a container comes from our materialist idea of separating body, mind and an outside world, but in reality they are all interlinked.

What is a thought made of? Scientists would say the neurons make the thought but what is the thought itself made of, in your direct experience? Is it material? Is it immaterial? Is it neither? Have fun!

Watched this this morning, one of the fundamental videos for Consciousness Work imo.

We had to go through those steps to get to where we are today, we needed to taste brutal power so we could get independence from the tribe. Otherwise we would still be living in the jungle in loincloth. Also "start" is relative, you started at the best possible place for you... in your opionion, in a 1000 years "you" will look back at Stage Green and think how barbaric it was.

Isnt that relative? A baby could be seen as high-level from the perspective of a pebble. If you started out as Buddha you would think why wasnt I born as someone more conscious than Buddha.

Thats how high stress is interpreted by the mind. You can do this man, Im sure theres something beautiful on the other side of the fear.

Panic doesnt cause heart attacks unless youre already very fragile, the body is made to withstand its own stress hormones, I know it feels horrible in the moment though.

What leads to the elevated heartrate? Are you relaxed while meditating? Are you focusing too hard? Is your ego dying? Your heartrate shouldnt just elevate out of the blue, that sounds weird.

The mind wanders by itself, your job is to sit there for 20 minutes watching it, dont try to watch it, notice that you already are watching, there is nothing you can do in meditation, youre not in control of the meditation, maybe you can try being aware but only until you get lost in your mind again. Have fun.

Ive done alot of these, they help alot but they dont quite get to the core... anyway, thanks for chiming in.❤️
