  1. He still believes he will die? And someone will be around after him? Lol
  2. Yes, of course. However you shouldn't expect the answers to just come to you, you should expect to do the work to think the matters through until the answer emerges. Contemplation on steroids, basically.
  3. A few trips is not enough to deconstruct one's reality. The constructions are too deep, and the consequences too radical.
  4. @Razard86 I know about David. He is not capable of understanding what I teach. Way too lost in Orange.
  5. And God is exploring between those two, too. A human is not as limited as rock.
  6. Because being unlimited for too long become pointless and meaningless. It's too easy. It's more fun to dream and experience drama and limitation. If you became fully unlimited you would get bored of it and want to experience being limited. From God's POV being unlimited is not better than being limited. To elevate unlimitedness over limitedness is a bias, see? And God has no biases. It loves all states of itself equally.
  7. Even though it is not the highest tool, you still gotta train your mind. Psychedelic will not do that for you.
  8. No. My vid was very accurate. I hope more of his fans watch it so they don't get stucked into his rabbit hole. In fact I was planning on doing a part 2. I don't see it. He has been fully consumed by the culture war and captured by his right-wing audience. His paranoia about communism has corrupted his whole worldview. He really beleives that if he doesn't wage this culture war 100 million people might die. He's got a nasty Green shadow and he refuses to acknowledge it as such, instead wrestling hard and harder with it publicly. The problem is that it earns him enormous amounts of money, fame, and love from ignorant people. He's like a drug addict now with the attention.
  9. I don't just repeat things. I do comprehensive lists of examples to show how widely an abstract principle applies. You don't see the breadth otherwise. It's easy to communicate a principle, it's hard to communicate its breadth and significance.
  10. Meditation is useful and has its place. All I said was you won't fully underatand consciousness with it alone. Psychedelics are the highest tool, according to me. This does not mean you shouldn't meditate. I meditate.
  11. His whole public career is a performance art of self-bias, projection, moralization, lesser jihad, and lack of construct awareness. He's fallen off a cliff and hit most of the major branches down the self-deception tree. That's what happens when you don't take epistemology seriously.
  12. You will never understand consciousness through meditation. Consciousness is way more dynamic, tricky, and radical than meditation can show you. All your meditation just keeps you locked within a very narrow band of consciousness. It's like seeing only shades of red, but none of the others colors. You cannot understand color that way. You need the full spectrum which meditation cannot offer. All your notions of spirituality and awakening will be limited to within a very narrow band of consciousness -- which hardly deserves to be called awakening at all. And thus you get weak stuff like what Tolle or Spira teach. They teach what they teach because they have no method by which to access higher dimensions of consciousness.
  13. Do it, experience it, and notice it's okay, life goes on. There is no shortcut here. You must do 1000s of approaches until you develop mastery. There is no way you can be good after just a few hundred approaches. That's like thinking you can be good at playing guitar after 20 training sessions. Nope! Not possible.
  14. Solo is just much harder. You have to really push yourself to approach. But it also grows you the most if you manage to do it. There's no easy solution to solo. You just force yourself to approach, or you don't and you have a shit day. Never ask for directions or the time. Do a proper direct approach.
  15. You guys and your jerking off problems... I just find it weird.
  16. Doesn't contradict what I said. The love/bliss states you get on psychedelics are a consequence of your consciousness expanding to recognize the absolute truth of metaphysical Oneness. The psychedelics are not giving you good feelings. The psychedelics are raising your conscious high enough to where you can see metaphysical Oneness, and this seeing then produces good feelings which you confuse for love. It's not the feeling which is Love, it's the metaphysical Oneness.
  17. Dealing with and teaching mentally ill people is a special skill set and interest which I do not have and am not particularly interested in. I make a basic distinction between dysfunction vs functional people. Actualized.org teachings are aimed at taking functional people and moving them up into super-functional and transhuman domains. Dysfunctional people need a lot of remedial work which I do not offer. That is the domain of therapy, and I am not a therapist nor do I want to be. I've dealt with a few mentally ill/dysfunctional people in my life (like Conor Murphy), and the drama they create is unreal. Sorry, nothing against you personally, but that's not something I allow in my life because it is a massive distraction and my work is not geared for such people. You can attempt to fit the work to your situation, and of course many insights will carry over, but I don't make any warranties that it will work well. The reality is that psychologically abnormal and dysfunctional people require specialized treatment which I do not offer. When you have an unique illness you need to go to the right specialist. I am not going to spread myself thin by trying to accommodate everyone on the planet. Nothing personal. There are things I am good at and things I am not good at. Handling mentally ill people is not my forte.
  18. If jerking off gives you acne then you got something wrong with your biochemistry.
  19. You could scout out a safe, cozy place in the woods or somewhere like that where you make it comfy with supplies and no one can disturb you.
  20. A therapist and a Zen master are very different things. Shinzen Young does a sort of modern Westernized version of Zen. But it won't lead you to God-realization. You can google for Zen retreat centers. Lots of in California. You can use Yelp to find any kind of therapist you want locally. Sat Yoga is an interesting retreat center in Costa Rica. But it is cult-like. Peter Ralston does some powerful workshops and apprenticeship programs in San Antonio. It's sorta Zen beyond Zen. But it still won't lead you to God-realization.
