Go to NexusMods and search for most popular and most downloaded Morrowind mods: https://www.nexusmods.com/games/morrowind?modSort=popular Don't install too many at once. Install a bit and test that they work properly. Over time you can build up a huge list.

In some ways women have life easier. But in some ways harder. In general, young men -- this like thread -- do not understand how hard life is for women. Just because it is easy for a woman get random sex does not mean what young men think it means. It's not as good as it seems to a man. So being resentful over it is silly. Counter-intuitively the easy life can involve more suffering as it breeds weakness.

I look different in old videos because they used a green screen which made me look wrong.

There are so many I can't list them all. Search for videos on YT for top must-have mods.

Morrowind travel is good. It is integral to the world. The mark/recall spells are super important as a limited fast travel system, which takes some skill. You can also probably find some mods that give more travel options to speed it up a bit. There is a mod that lets you walk faster by default.

If I see him doing that I will take action. But so far he has expressed his personal preference/bias. Don't worry, I've got my eye on him. And you guys can let me know if he posts more along these lines and I will intervene.

This is kind of a grey area. We can't prevent people from having aesthetic preferences for certain races as their personal opinion, as long as they are not making claims beyond that. I took this to be an expression of his personal bias and taste. But I understand how it is offensive, and since there's not much to discuss here, I think we can close this thread. @Majed Watch what you post. If you're gonna be pushing a racist agenda here, that's not gonna fly. - - - - - The reality is that many people just are racist. I prefer to know it than not know it. Of course racist political ideology is not allowed here. But there's a distinction to be made between expressions of racist political agenda vs expression or admission of personal taste. Yes, it's a strange and murky line. But generally speaking, if someone admits that he is a racist I don't want to immediately shut him up. Psychological development requires people to be able to admit to being racist rather than hide it. Like, if he was talking to a therapist he should be allowed to admit his racial biases and tastes just because it's what's true for him. This doesn't mean we allow racist political agendas.

The graphics actually look insanely good. Imagine a Morrowind remaster that looks this good. OMG!

I am one of the few who teaches what it really is, and its import. Many people have tripped balls. That's not the same as teaching how to make sense of Consciousness and God.

It looks pretty good. The problem is it's all so bland by original design. It's like sexing up a piece of white bread. HD white bread is not what makes a game worth playing. HD bricks and crates is not why people love games.

Seattle nightlife is also not good. Anything north of LA and west of Vegas is not good for game. Except maybe Vancouver.

You have no idea how revolutionary Morrowind was back in 2002. It was like discovering a whole new dimension to gaming. Nowadays it's all taken for granted thanks to Skyrim and copy-cat open-world games. But still nothing comes close to the world of Morrowind. If you can't stand playing it, you can just watch videos of others playing it.

Thanks everybody. Very touching.

I don't like either of those franchises. Divinity Original Sin 1 & 2 are outstanding. Two of the best RPGs ever.
-
Absurd. You will never ban porn. They might as well try banning bread.

I don't know how to find European links or if Amazon even works in Europe.

I was thinking of recording a long Morrowind Let's Play.
-
The slowness is what makes it good. It is deep. You can play and savor it. Combat is more strategy than action, which is better because it require preparing resources rather than just swinging a sword. And it requires growing your stats. No. Oblivion was bad even when it came out. It's not just aesthetics, Oblivion was horribly balanced and there was no joy playing it after Morrowind. All the depth and beauty is gone. I was very dissapointed in Oblivion back when it came out. I expected it to be like Morrowind, but they watered everything down to the point of generic action RPG.

There is more stress in organizing the content of the video than dealing with its release. I used to stress more, but these days the content I release is so solid that there's little to stress about other than creating it.

Health problems interfere with my output of content. But I have plans for lots of new content. I've also put a lot of work into the blog over the last year.

No. What I share with you comes with years of profound intellectual effort. What you're sharing with me is AI slop that doesn't come close to understanding the nuance of the things I teach. This work requires serious personal contemplation and consciousness work, not appeals to conventional wisdom. Your AI is citing Daniel Dennett, an idiot philosopher who denied that consciousness exists. I will not waste my time engaging with such material because it comes from a mindless content mill. Your method here IS epistemic self-deception. Thinking that you can use an AI to think for you and make sense of the radical things I talk about. Consciousness/God cannot be understood mechanically -- which is what you're trying to do. And then you want me to waste my time engaging with this mechanical nonsense. Which is an insult to what I do. -

The opposite is more likely: AI becomes the next source of dogma and group-think. People stop thinking entirely and just parrot AI. Already happening on this forum. -

@xeontor You are abusing AI by not thinking for yourself. If you keep posting threads like this I will start locking them. The entire point of this work is to think deeply for yourself. Not this AI slop. This AI stuff seems smart but it's not. It's just a new version of religion. This will keep you from serious understanding. You are welcome to critique my work, but do so using your own brainpower.
