That's not how it works. That's incredibly simple-minded. -

I have since reached much higher Awakening. That video is years old. Pretty much. But you don't have to reach the highest to get a lot of value out of this work. It's the journey not the destination. Don't be too in a rush. Enjoy the whole process of investigating Consciousness. It's all good stuff. And all your lowest awakenings will still be awesome. You don't need the highest right off the bat. -

I didn't just say awake. I said AWAKE. -

Some men have seen more of the elephant than others. So this metaphor is misleading. Not everyone is equally blind. My claim is that I've seen more of the elephant than most people have. You can dispute me all you want, but you can't really deny that not everyone has seen the elephant equally. I've had some samadhi. Not necessarily that one you describe. But I've had Awakenings way beyond that. That's not the highest Awakening. That's just not the case based on my experience. There is Awakening so deep that you could not function in normal life. You couldn't drive a car. Just by the fact that you can drive a car I can tell that you're not deeply Conscious. -

Oh sure. I don't dispute that some of you guys have had legit awakenings and mystical experiences. There's just much higher ones. I've had dozens of different kinds of them. So you can't tell me they don't exist. And since I've had so many different kinds, I'm in a unique position to say which ones are lower and higher. You can't know until you got a bunch of them to compare to each other. That's what I've spent the last few years doing. -

Not only are there degrees of Awakening, there are hundreds of different kinds of Awakening which are very different from each other. Which is why hardly any two spiritual teachers agree with each other. Haven't you noticed they all disagree? How come? Obviously because there is no such thing as a singular Awakening. People who claim there is only one Awakening are not serious. -

The benefit is a complete understanding of everything and freedom from all human spiritual bullshit. And Infinite Beauty. -

That's actually a good approximation. -

It's just not very effective for me. I think its effectiveness varies greatly from person to person. One of the things I hate about all these spritual teachings is how they assume that they are effective across the board for everyone. And then they blame you if it isn't effective on you. It's all very unscientific. -
Go to yoga classes and other New Age activities to find more spiritual girls. Although I've found even strippers and prostitutes who are heavy into spirituality. So they are out there. 23 is very young though. Girls that age tend to be shallow.

I didn't need to. All it requires is consciousness. -

I did explain God-Realization in my video called An Advanced Explanation of God-Realization. It's in that direction. -

Well then, why are you so bothered when I say there's something beyond it? -
Leo Gura replied to Leo Gura's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
You also don't know that your enlightenment is the end of consciousness. You have to assume there's nothing beyond or above it. -

I'm saying something more radical: that you do picture it, and that's part of the deception. You represent your own enlightenment to yourself in your mind. How do you know that one person's enlightenment is identical to that of another? You don't know that. And in fact they are not identical. Even your own enlightenments are not identical to themselves. Of course no picture can do it justice. But that's not the point being made here. Because everything in your experience is imagined by God. That's how reality is created. For you to be "enlightened" God has to imagine that you one day you "became enlightened". You have a whole story that you tell yourself of how it happened, when it happened, where it happened, and what it means. -
Leo Gura replied to Leo Gura's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
And I would say you're imagining that. -
Leo Gura replied to Leo Gura's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Well, you're imagining it right now. See? In order to speak at all about a thing called enlightenment, you gotta have a picture in your mind of what it is, and then you also gotta tell yourself that your picture is valid. Otherwise you could not speak about it or even know that you're enlightened. So enlightenment comes with many assumptions and ideas. For example, you tell yourself that you had an enlightened and you tell yourself that your enlightenment is complete and all there is to the matter. Or you tell yourself that your enlightenment is incomplete. Or you tell yourself that your enlightenment is the same as the Buddha's or Rupert Spira's, or whatever. -

This reads like a parody Twitter account.

The creating of gender confusion with custom pronouns and the like IS a legitimate issue to be concerned about. But this has nothing to do with grooming kids into being gay. What I would like to see is some broad research into how many kids these days are confused about their gender. We need to track this metric every year.
-
The issue of young kids going trans needs to be clearly distinguished from being gay. These are not similar things. Part of the nonsense of that video is how badly they conflate gays with trans. These are very different things.

Everything I say and do is pretty much that. But very practically I am working on a course that explains all this is serious detail. It is too much material to explain it on a forum. I'm just throwing out breadcrumbs for people here, trying to make you seriously question all teachers and teachings. If you want some practical advice here it's simply this: question all these pious enlightened so-called gurus. Do not assume they know what's up. Stop assuming that there is some one achievement called "enlightenment" which every master has attained and it now guiding you towards. That's not what is going on. -
